Today my mother and I went to Ashley’s to purchase a dresser and ended up leaving having bought a dresser, mattress, and a dining set. I can’t thank Warren enough for how tremendously kind and helpful he was during our visit. From start to finish Warren worked incredibly hard to search for items I had found online, and search all of the details for every item in store that I was even remotely interested in. Warren used real life examples of furniture he himself has purchased at Ashley’s and the benefits of the protection plan. Being a physical therapist, finding a comfortable and spine-healthy mattress is very important to me. Warren utilized anatomically correct terms to help find the write mattress for me while visually assessing my sleep posture on each mattress to ensure proper spine health. He gave us his undivided attention, showed attention to detail to help me match my current bedroom furniture, and took us throughout the entire store to help find the best pieces for me. We cannot thank Warren enough for just being such a kind and hardworking employee, having been with the company for 11.5 years, I would like to think this man is more than deserving of whatever promotion may be available. He really deserves it. I have never experienced better customer service in my life!
Not my first experience here and won’t be my last. The sales staff is excellent. Tim D, my salesman, took great care of me from arriving to the store to walking me out with my purchases at the end. He took the time to show me my options without being pushy. He respected my budget and needs. Lead times are long everywhere. Please show these people some mercy. They, just like everyone else is trying to make income during our current worldwide supply chain issues.I bought a new mattress, bed, and chest. Neil, the sales manager also was helpful and receptive to my budget. He was thorough with finance options and available discounts.
First and LAST time ever purchasing furniture here. We anticipated moving into our first home so we purchased a bedroom set 6 weeks ahead of time (09/04) knowing there are delays. We were told the estimated wait at time of purchase was 6-8 weeks. No problem! On 10/8, we stopped in store to meet with the associate manager (Benjamin U.) who helped us and told us everything but the mirror would be in stock and ready for delivery by 10/28. We were informed delivery could not be scheduled until 2 weeks prior to this date and HE would call US. Never heard from him on 10/14 so I called TEN TIMES on 10/15 before getting anyone on the line. Benjamin then confirmed with us that our delivery was now scheduled for 10/28 as planned. When I asked for an email confirmation, he said they simply dont provide those but to expect a call 1-2 days beforehand with a time window. Its now 10/27, the night before our delivery and heard nothing. Called the store (again several tries) & was told no such delivery was scheduled, and everything BUT the mirror was out of stock. So Benjamin told us the COMPLETE opposite of every detail, lied about our delivery being scheduled and now we are in our new home with no bedroom set that we proactively sought out. Needless to say, we immediately requested a refund since I refuse to give $3,000 to such a disorganized company. We will be going back to Steinhafels who has given us great deals, amazing service and earlier than predicted furniture delivery!
Ordered our couch in June finally got it in October they gave us a wrong piece then took two weeks to get our next piece. I have called 4 times and still can’t get a hold of a manager. They told me I was getting two credits and I still haven’t received them. I then said I just want to return the couch and of course we can’t. Just need our money back and a return call! 4,000 we’ll spent! Great service !
Great Customer service. They were not pushy at all. I felt they went out if there way to make sure we were happy. Erica at the Algonquin store is amazing. I was alone, she watched me walk to my car and drive away. That is great customer service. I will definitely go back.
We visited the Algonquin store yesterday and was greeted by Erica. Such a polite and helpful lady. So far the experience was wonderful. Im promised the delivery to be within a week of our king bedroom set. We are hoping for the best. Ill write the final review after the delivery and set up, paid for. Ty. Jim.
We love shopping at Ashley Home Store. We’ve furnished our dining room, living room and family room through Ashley. The quality is awesome and the aesthetics is super classy. The in store experience is always great, outstanding customer service. Love this store!
We visited Ashley three different times while searching for a new sectional and we were assisted by three different associates. By far, Nick was the best! I was extremely particular about what I wanted and he had such patience with us. He really took the time to build a rapport with us that made the experience enjoyable. We ultimately purchased a sectional we originally loved the first time we visited. One of the other associates said it couldnt be altered in a certain way that would fit our space, but that associate was apparently incorrect and Nick was able to make it work and we got our perfect sectional!
The store is clean and the associates are all wonderful! I recently bought several items from the store in Algonquin, Il and the sales associate Irene is absolutely wonderful. There was a mistake on one of the items that I purchased and not only did Irene and the manager fix it but they also offered a discount and a free item that I was going to pay for. I didnt expect that and it makes me want to keep going back because they truly care if the customer is happy and they are willing to do what they can to give you the best shopping experience. Irene and the manager always match the lowest price (compared to online pricing) and offer discounts without me even asking, this has saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend this store.
We’ve used Ashley Furniture for many years on multiple pieces of furniture love them ! We always have a great experience every time we go everyone is super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to the Algonquin location for all of our furniture needs !
Our sons bedroom set was ordered beginning of July with requested deliver data first week of August. We did not get the furniture til September. Upon arrival and assembly it was obvious that there were damages done to the furniture (gouges, corners with damages, drawers with scratches). The assembly crew stated it was manufactures defect. I called Ashley with the assembly crew still in my driveway. I was asked to e-mail pics and the repair crew would contact me the next day. The pics were e-mailed and.....No contact from Ashely whatsoever!!!!!. After a week of waiting and calling the customer support I called the Algonquin store and left messages for the sale rep that sold me this stuff....no call back. I left two messages for the store manager to call me back...no call back. It now has been 3 weeks since the delivery and still no contact.We will never shop at Ashely again...and its a shame as this store and customer service were very good some years ago. Very disappointed!

If I could give zero stars I would have !On April 23 my son purchased a desk and didn’t receive it until August 28. Keep in mind delays are being experienced everywhere. When he finally received his desk in a box it was obviously a desk that had been delivered elsewhere before making its final stop to his home. When he opened the box he immediately realized an issue… all of the hardware was placed into a “sandwich bag” unless “Ashley’s” is in the habit of sending items with “hardware in a sandwich bag” it obviously was an item that had been returned prior to him receiving it. On further inspection the desk was damaged.So far their response to fixing this rather than a refund/return as there is NO other item/desk of interest is to get something of equal value????How is that helpful? Buyer beware!!!!I’m sorry I ever suggested he use them I had been shopping with Ashley’s for years!!!!!Trust me…. Never will they get our business.
Great experience with Eric F. at the Algonquin store - non-pushy sales and price matching. Of course furniture is on back order as with items at many other stores. It is worth the wait for good quality pieces.

We were greeted by Nathan and he was supper friendly and patient. We found everything we needed for our home. He honored the online prices and gave us a 20% on everything! Beautiful store with very affordable prices ! Best furniture store I have been too !!!
This is the quality of the furniture that you get when you purchase from Ashley furniture. I had this couch delivered 3 months ago and now I have tears and rips. I was told my by salesman, Don, that this was a great sofa to have with children. Not so!!! I can’t ever get ahold of someone at the actual store and customer service won’t help me either. According to their technicians, this is not a manufacturer defect. Oh really?!?! What is it then? Loose threads everywhere that then end up ripping at the seams. I will never shop here again. I also had to wait 3 months for this to get delivered to me. Never again Ashley! Shame on you for scamming your customers with this kind ofproduct and then not helping them when it’s defected.Edit: to the rep who asked me to reach out for a solution. I did so today and NOTHING came out of it. I was told again that the tech who looked at my pictures said this is not a manufacturer defect.So EVERYONE, please note, if you order furniture from Ashley furniture, they are saying that is is normal for this damage to occur within 3 months of delivery. What a waste of $1300!!!

Ashley furniture, in Algonquin, by far had the best and biggest selection of all the stores we have visited. Tim, our sales associate, let us browse and walk around the store and let us know to take our time and let him know if we had any questions. After a long while of us browsing and selecting a living room set. Tim was ready and wiling to answer any questions, found us the best deal with the promotions going on in store, and all and all had excellent customer service. I love the sofa, love seat, end table and coffee tables we picked out and delivery was only a few weeks out. I would definitely purchase from Ashley furniture again.
Wonderful customer service!! Was in a bind with a gift card that was causing me issues- but Syed, Neil, and Karen helped sort it out so I could enjoy my newly purchased furniture. Such kind people, very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back to furnish the rest of my home.

Stopped by Ashleys this past Sunday, in search of a new bedroom set. After browsing a bit, we were greeted by Erica. A fabulous sales lady who knew her stuff!! We just bought a Tempurpedic mattress and the customer service that we received was outstanding. Tom and Neil the manager, we’re very informative but no way pushy on us making a purchase today. They explained things in great detail and offered us the best options and deals available.
My husband and I purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture from this store back in early April. We have just recently purchased a home and we needed to fill it up. We were PROMISED by the store manager that all but 1 item would be delivered on the day we requested, 2 weeks later. The reason he did this was because we said we wouldnt purchase any items that had a significant delay. However, the day that everything but the 1 item were delivered, 5 of the items were missing. Didnt hear anything from anyone about where they were. So we had to call and we heard that nothing would be available for over a MONTH. A month passes, we call again after not hearing anything. They push it back a month AGAIN. The 1 item that was originally delayed isnt supposed to be available until late August and all of our other items no one has any idea, despite us hearing that we would be receiving a text to schedule delivery last week. The customer care rep I spoke to this morning says that some of the items say current stock but she doesnt know what that means. WHAT?? You dont know what current stock means and you dont know if they can deliver it or not? We are going to go to the store today to find the manager and talk to him in person, because this is absolutely unacceptable. If they were honest up front we wouldnt have purchased these other items, but because they didnt want to lose more than half of the sale, they lied. If you are going to purchase their furniture, beware about their delivery timeline because they are most likely going to be wrong. So so frustrated and disappointed in this company.
We had an amazing experience here. nick was so helpful and really took his time to explain all of the cushion options for our sectional. He showed us so many options and really helped us with also picking a dining room table and chairs! He was so knowledgeable and was very kind !

Good luck getting a hold of anyone live, just an unanswered voicemail at the Algonquin store, after your purchase with a labryinth of an automated phone system. Bedroom furniture delivery is a 4 month delay! Still no information on when the lamps ordered will arrive. I want a refund.
We really want to thank Mr. Tim sales associate really nice person not pushy at all really polite, and work with us in finding what we were looking for. Also the Manager of the store was so nice he even play Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. I haven’t been in a place where the manager takes the time to play with kids. Really pleasant visit and we came home with what we needed.
My husband and I had to come in to replace a chair that we had. We worked directly with the store manage, Neil Andrew, and couldn’t say enough nice things about him and our experience at this Ashley store. We were able to replace our chair with a new item with no problem at all. Although he was extremely busy he made us feel comfortable that he was making sure our order was correct. I went in to purchase a desk. They didnt have any that could fit into my space but while I was there, I decided to check out the mattress section for a future purchase. I worked with Will who was so polite and helpful and his manager Neil, who was AMAZING. I ended up buying the mattresd right away and couldnt be happier with my purchase. The store is huge and beautifully appointed. Im recommending them to everyone. Prices are great. 5 years interest free financing. . . You cant really beat that.

Ashley has a wider variety of selections available. We looked at bedroom sets for our daughter. The sales team were not pushy at all. The sales rep that assisted us, Eric, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, the set we purchased will not be available till about July but we’re not in a rush. Hoping the bedroom set will be in great condition when we receive it.

Wasn’t thinking we would actually buy a sectional and a table today, but were blown away by the staff and prices! Employees weren’t pushy at all and didn’t hassle us. I visited the Algonquin store two times in the past week and both times the staff were so helpful! The second time I was there I was in and out in less than an hour with brand new furniture being delivered earlier than expected! Maggie and Tim are great help!
DO NOT SPEND A DIME HERE. Ordered a couch in April 2021 with the exception that it had a June ETA based on the direct confirmation of the sales person before purchasing. It has been delayed several times now and we have yet to receive it in September. No one bothers to call you back when you call, and the managers ignore messages. Left a message for Neil the floor manager, and Karen the store manager, but apparently they dont bother calling their peseant customers back. There regional managers and corporate office should be ashamed of the service they provide. Good luck staying in business. I intend to post frequent reviews about our HORRIBLE experience until they have the decency of calling me back instead of hiding in their office.
Wow... Ill never shop at Ashley furniture ever again. In May 2021, purchased a sectional, and they said it would deliver in 2-3 months. Finally, last week they said it had almost arrived and they could ship this week. They said all the pieces had arrived except the console. Today, only 1 piece was delivered, the corner wedge, and they are now stating that the rest of the pieces will not arrive until January 8th, 2022! I asked for a return, saying that receiving only 1 piece of a sectional is not usable, and they will not allow for a return, and they will do nothing to deliver my order fast than January 8th, even though I placed original order 4 months ago. Extraordinarily frustrating, and their customer service team was not helpful.

Every time weve needed to make a major furniture purchase, we always shop around. Nine times out of ten, we end up returning to Ashley. Their black Friday in July event going on now offers 30% off the entire purchase, provided you dont take advantage of one of their financing offers (still have discounts using their financing; amount varies based on the length of financing chosen). Purchased a living room set and reclining sofa and loveseat for the basement. After applying the 30% discount, basically received one of the sets free! Always friendly sales associates, great customer service and delivery crews take great care not to damage the furniture or home. Definitely recommend!

We went to the Algonquin, IL Ashley furniture location today 6/29/21 to look for furniture for our first home. I am seeking a dining room table and living room furniture.We have been to this location in the past for other purchases and had excellent service.I ended up purchasing a dining room set with 6 chairs for a good price. They had matched the online prices that was a good amount of different from the store. Probably savings of $300?They can match online prices. Im not sure why the store is so much higher. Just look up the furniture and check. I was pleased with the purchase today and look forward to seeing my furniture soon. There is a delay due to Covid and manufacturing but its ok.I would recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. They have good price points for younger couples.

Had I done this review 9 months ago I wouldnt have even put 1 star. We ordered a bedroom set in November and months and months later we finally got it. NOW - Had there been better communication and honesty we would have been ok with waiting but it was a mess and we were jacked around. A LOT! I know it was covid and all the industry was jacked up for shipping dates. But the way it was handled and the lack of communication is what made us mad. Well, skip to now. The store manager has really been great in working with us and getting us credits for all we went through. He helped us get a new couch and has been extremely communicative through the whole process, which is why I am now giving them 3 stars. While we know it will still take more time than normal to get this new couch we also have faith that they will be better to work with and not promise dates and things they can not deliver.

I went to the Ashley Store at Algonquin, IL. The moment I walked in the store, I was greeted by a Sales Professional named Irene. She was very patient, hospitable, nice and helpful. I had an amazing experience, thanks to Irene! I got everything I was looking for. Even the managers are nice and helpful. I highly recommend this store. You won’t be disappointed.
Unbelievable. Loved our salesman Eric. Unfortunately our furniture was delivered damaged. We did what we were told to do. I sent multiple emails with pictures. Not one reply ! When you call the store no one answers and it says the mailbox does not work...but it then it says to leave a message! We have called at all hours.We thought maybe the store closed and actually drove there to see. We finally talked to their manager and customer rep. We were told new furniture would be delivered this week. We have not heard from anyone so we called the store. Same issue. We called 800 number and they say 16 weeks is what they have and don’t know anything else. Corporate will not do anything because this is not a corporate store!If you are going to buy from Ashley, CALL the store you plan on going to to see if they are competent enough to set up their phone system. Or maybe even answer!I will now be driving ti the store again and unfortunately will just get more excuses.We will definitely not shop there again.
Came here looking for couches and the person, Ben, was helping us out and was very nice! Bought them and and a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this store and was overall a good experience.
We have purchased from Ashley in Algonquin twice. Most recently we purchased a floor model power recliner and loveseat sofa. Price was right and the quality was good. We had a great salesman Nicholas Zamora.Once it was delivered there was damage to the wiring harnesses on one power side of the loveseat. We knew we bought it as is and it could have been damaged by the delivery company we hired to pick it up. Ashley sent us the repair parts very quickly and everything works great. Its nice to see that even a large nationwide company still takes care of their customers.
Came in to buy a new dining room and bedroom set and was met initially by Joe that helped us with our purchases. Checking out, we were assisted with by Neil and the both of them were very proficient and knowledgeable with the products and helped us find the best deals to save us even more money. I would definitely come back here for more of my home furnishings and recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I do not like writing bad reviews, but this was by far the worst experience my wife and I have ever had in a furniture store. The store manager was the most arrogant, condescending person to deal with. He left us feeling like it was ok that we were canceling our order and it wasnt important to come up with a remedy. We purchased a couch in early May of 2021. We were told we could pick the couch up from the Romeoville hub on July 30, 2021. We decided to call and get an order update seeing we had not heard anything regarding our pick up date scheduled for 4 days from now. We were told by customer service that the delivery date is now December 2021!! Thinking this must have been a mistake, we called the store in Algonquin where we made the purchase and talked with our sales person. He remembered us making the purchase and said he would look into the order and have the manager call us back. That phone call never came, which is what led us back to the store to talk to someone in person. We see our sales person and approach him to re-introduce ourselves, and follow up on the update of the order. He asked if the manager ever called us, which was a no, and then went to get him. We introduced ourselves to the manager and explained the story. In so many words, he basically said, thats the way things are these days, theres nothing we can do. He told me I could call the CEO of the company and get the same answer. He also stated how its his sales people who make the mistake of not telling people your delivery date is an estimate. Lastly, I asked why Ashley Furniture does not update their customers when a delivery date gets extended by 5 months! He said he did not have an answer for that and offered the refund again. We ended up cancelingour order and getting a refund. Unfortunately, this is the last time we will ever purchase from Ashley Furniture! I wish Ashley Furniture had better systems in place to contact customers when delivery dates get changed. It was a 5 month change, not just a few days or a week change! I also wish they would invest in training their managers/employees better. Our decision to cancel the order was 100% based on how we were treated by their store manager. We will spend our $3K somewhere else on a couch.

Erica was the salesperson that helped me. I went in with pictures of my apartment and an idea of what I wanted. She made suggestions I never thought of. When the furniture was delivered I was very pleased with what she suggested. I have black kitchen cabinets, she suggested distressed black wood on the stools and they look great. I will continue to shop at Ashley for all of my furniture needs.
The sales associate was friendly and informative. She explained the furniture will be delayed due to COVID-19 beforehand but she was reassuring that I would get everything in perfect condition!
Today they came to deliver my three year old sons bedroom set and not only did they have the wrong headboard but the dresser broke. To make matters worse there was no one available to come and collect the furniture when we said we wanted to return it. We called the store directly as well as customer service but they did nothing to help. My son is now without a bed. I’m completely disgusted with the lack of customer service and professionalism. The furniture is cheap and poorly made but yet they charge an arm and a leg. This matter should have been resolved immediately but it wasn’t. Do yourself a favor and never shop here!
Ordered a bedroom set and the associate made it super easy for us to decide! We got discounts and the staff for very accommodating. Also I love the modern farmhouse and vintage styles of their furniture at a decent rate! Havent found that at competing stores

Customer service on the phone is by far the worst ive ever dealt with. Supervisor promised me a delivery refund because of the hassle i went through. Two weeks go by they tell me they never said that, which thhey did. Very unprofessional Customer service

This was our first and definitely not last time in an Ashley Home Store. My husband and I shopped a lot of stores for a mattress set before making a purchase. We were pleasantly surprised no salesperson crowded us or attempted pressured us at all while shopping at Ashley. We were given time to freely browse and try out the selection, privacy and then we received the information we wanted to make our decision. We found the prices to be very good, the quality outstanding, delivery convenient and sales staff friendly, informative but respectful. Good all-round shopping and purchase experience.
Went to many different stores to shop around for a couch. Only Ashley had the perfect couch for me and my partner. Staff were really friendly and worked with my budget. Looking forward to my new couch!
Erica was so helpful and helped my husband and I purchase a sectional for our basement. She let us look around but made sure to keep checking and answered all of our questions. She made the financing process easy and stress free. Neil also helped us at the end of our visit and was so pleasant and friendly. Definitely will be back for future home furniture needs.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a sales associate immediately. I already had an idea what I wanted and Don showed us all the different styles and layouts. He really took the time and listened, so I was able to purchase exactly what I wanted. He was also upfront about costs and sales. I was able to get my sectional at a great price too. The sales rep, Ben, was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy. And when he wrote up the order he was quick and efficient. The only negative was when the “sleep expert” dressed in a lab coat was called over to lecture me about importance of good sleep, question my sleep habits and then go in for the hard mattress sell. I was there to by a couch!!! Creepy.
My visit since day one has been horrible, I ordered my furniture in January and I didnt get until April. They gave me the wrong furniture and then when I financed it, they put charges on my account that didnt be long.in the last year I have had to go back and fourth with them about my furniture and my financing. Never again will I shop at Ashley Furniture.
My fiance and I looked all over for a comfortable couch and we finally found what we were looking for at Ashley HomeStore. We received excellent customer service locking in our furniture. We cant wait to get our new couch in a week!
Great selection of recliners with a range of prices. Mr. Dajani was a patient and knowledgeable salesman, taking us throughout the store, explaining details. A fine experience overall.

I have always had great luck with Ashley furniture! Purchased 2 whole homes worth of furniture that has lasted longer than I would never expected to last the decades they have. We just went back 2 years later and bought another bed and mattress.
