I havent been in a JCPenney in a long while, but we were told they had great prices on suits.They do, but the selection is a bit limited. We did find one that was on sale, but even cheaper on their website. We asked the very nice girl at the rear customer service if theyd price match and she said they do.So. She helped ring us up and helped us get a fantastic price on a very nice looking suit. I only wish I got her name to thank her publicly.

Had our multi-generational photos taken here. Words can not express the gratitude or the way the family feels for expert treatment and care we received. The 2 ladies that waited on our family were spot on. Caring and professional in every respect. This photo studio has my highest recommendation!!!

Shopping for a dress for a wedding in June and they had a great selection. Went to another store close by, they had nothing. Thank you for having so many fancy dresses.

I had been here before covid and it was very pleasant. Now the store seemed very disorganized and a lot of things were out of place. I couldnt tell if most of the sale items were on sale as there seemed to be both in the same area some just thrown around. Also they only had one fitting room area open. I understand that it is probably because of Covid but it wasnt a convenient location in my opinion. I would have tried on more items but didnt like the back and forth and also was in a time crunch.

Sales ladies were very helpful and friendly. Found what I was like looking for and more best part all on sale! Love JCP.

I went to this JCPENNEY store in Algonquin to pick up an online order. This store had a lot of nice inventory and sales. The sales and check-out associates were very helpful. The store was neat. One still has to wear a mask while shopping. The fitting rooms were not open but the associate said you could return the items if you need to. Worth shopping at.

Price are high, but was able to find some good sale items if you look carefully and take your time but I do like their line of clothing they appear to last longer than other retailers.

We had our family portraits done, and it was a 100% win. The photographer was so good with our niece and nephew, the photos came out beautiful, and we had so much fun.

I go to Penneys hair salon. Been going there for many many years. Brooke is my stylist. She is one of the top colorists. Dont expect to call & get an appointment with Brooke immediately. She will b booked. I make my appointments 5 weeks ahead of time. You might be able to get an appointment sooner for a haircut. All the stylists are really nice. I have a niece & a friend that are beauticians but I still go to Brooke. Give her a try. I dont think you will be disappointed. You will love her as I do!

Prices are always too high

I was at the store this weekend and exchanged shorts and bought dress shoes. Customer service as well as other people in store was really awesome. Treated people well and enjoyed my shopping!

Ashley was great. There was a long line at the cashier. She was friendly and had a great attitude. She did a great job helping each customer while trying to get to everyone quickly.

First, I went shopping in Sephora. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, walking around and making sure to ask anyone if they had any questions. They made it really simple for me to be in and out in a timely manner with the items I wanted. Then, I went and looked at jewelry next door to Sephora and Patricia was super friendly and helpful. We chatted for a while as I was looking at items. It was a great experience and I’ll be back again!!

I like how this store is set up. They had a nice variety. They have the brands that fit me the best. The Pennys in my town closed up so it was great to find one.

Very nice store with great customer service. I was there to pickup an online order. As I entered the store I was greeted immediately and was given directions to the pickup area. When I arrived at the pickup desk there was only one person in line, but the associate at the register called for assistance and I was helped promptly. My package was exactly what I ordered.

Needed assistance and there was no one to be found. My grandma and I literally walked the entire store looking for a worker and it was like they were all in hiding. After 15 min we finally found someone to help but her attitude seriously sucked. Wont be coming to this location anymore.

Great store with a ton of merchandise. Not sure that I like the new sales structure. Instead of the individual items being on sale, you have to spend x number of dollars to receive 40 percent. It is hard to calculate the savings.

Was at the jewelry counter with Patricia tonight but she asked me and my boyfriend to call her Pat. Shes very helpful and friendly. She was super attentive to our needs and even helped my boyfriend get a JCP card. The other staff were friendly and always making sure we didnt need any help when we were browsing the rest of the store after we finished with Pat.The store was very clean and well-organized. 5/5 stars for the friendly atmosphere and clean store. Amanda at JC Penny salon could not be better! She has been doing my hair for years and has done my and all of my sisters and friends weddings. All the girls that work there are so sweet. Its worth driving over an hour to still go here since I moved!

I just came in to see if I could a store credit refund for a gift from my mom. The 2 shirts had tags and everything but no receipt. I started saying that I wasnt even sure if I can do this and the woman was instantly ticked off, talking over me and condescending for no good reason about the return rules, etc. I wasnt even arguing with her or intending to. This has happened before to others and I dont get it...you feel like cattle in their checkout line and its so unpleasant. Thank you for reminding me why I stay away from this store.

Had family photos done. They did an okay job, but we felt rushed and werent given time to look at the pictures to make a choice. Wont go again unless we get a super cheap coupon and decide on what we want before we go.

It was a very pretty store. Merchandizing was on point.

Rude cashiers. No greeting. Paid in cash which I dont think the cashier knew how to handle cash. Rule of thumb: hand bills first then change dont shove in hand all at once. Messy store, very unorganized. No room to walk between racks of clothes. First and last time at this location.

Mary at This algonquin salon is amazing..I came in with the worst hair cut and color from another salon ...been crying for weeks over how bad my hair was..breaking off and all..Mary took such great care of my hair.. took extra time to make sure my hair was not damaged anymore...not to mention I paid less for this new dew than at that P.O.S place i had gone before...well not anymoreJcpenney algonquin will alway be my salon ..I am so happy..Thank you Mary for an amazing color fix and hair cut fix.

DO NOT BUY WINDOW TREATMENT OR CURTAINS FROM THIS STORE!!! Worst store possible for blinds and curtains.We bought curtains from this place and the whole experience was a nightmare. Our sales person lied about how long it would take to install and if we were able to return the curtains. We then bought a curtain rod and drapes from this store. The drapes were nice but the curtain rod installation materials were absolute garbage. The screws for the wall mount stripped half way through installation. Their customer service was a joke. Spoke to several people and nothing got resolved until I spoke to the district manager who promised two separate gift cards with 100 each. She only sent one and then I havnt been able to contact her about the supposed other gift card. Go elsewhere for your window treatments and curtains and dont waste your time with JC Penny. There is only front cashiers which makes a long line. Prices are always different at checkout. The scanners dont work to check the prices. Coupons can only be used for some stuff.

JCPenney Portraits in Algonquin did a awesome job - I have to mention two people here Tony(Front desk)and Carlos (Creative photographer) both of them did a marvelous job. We went there for a photoshoot with a toddler and a 3 months old baby. Tony helped us to set the background, flooring, and backdrop by understanding our requirement, he was so flexible we even changed our decision few times.Then comes Carlos, he is more professional and I was surprised on seeing him in a fraction of sec he made 3 month-old baby smile. He took few shots which were so amazing, he takes feedbacks and was open for ideas. The work was so organized and well done that the photo shoot was over in 20 mins or so. Tony helped us with the pricing options and photo customization. Keep the good work guys . Overall the experience was so great, I strongly recommend this place for the indoor photo shoot.

I am really disgusted after the treatment received at the JC Penneys store in Algonquin on Feb 17th. Before going to the store I shopped on line for a mattress. I found what I wanted so I went into the store to test it out before committing. The clerk said there was free delivery and rang it up. For some reason when ringing it up the price was less discounted than on line. Hank the Store Manager got involved and after an hour of trying to figure it out found no explanation for why it was different, he said this is the price and I cannot give the additional discount. Sears is going out of business and with Mangers like this JC Penneys will be next! 30 years as a JC Penneys GOLD Card holder and this is how a Store Manager treats you!!!!!!!!!!
