My daughter had an amazing experience finding her wedding dress at Simply Luxe!! We worked with Pamela and she was welcoming, kind, attentive, and so so knowledgeable!! After a few minutes talking with my daughter, Pamela picked out beautiful dresses to try on that were so in line with my daughter’s vision and style. My daughter preferred the lace straps of one dress she tried on to the spaghetti straps of the dress she ended up selecting. And, like others who have left reviews have said, Pamela enlisted the help of the dress designer, Susan, who expertly showed my daughter what that variation to the dress would look like both with sketches and with other dresses in her store.Also, their shop is beautifully appointed and very stylish.I highly recommend Simply Luxe for any bride who is wedding dress shopping! Their selection of a wide variety of dress styles, combined with Pamela and Susan’s experience and kind attention to details (all while having the dress designer on site), really makes Simply Luxe special!

This was my second experience with Simply Luxe, my first was as a bridesmaid and it was a smooth and easy process. The process of picking out my bridal dress was nothing short of amazing here! I had tried on probably 80 dresses, couldnt find something that complimented my body and also felt like me. I found a top I really loved in a dress, but I wasnt a huge fan of the bottom. Susan was able to sketch up the top I loved with the bottom I envisioned and I was thrilled! She was even able to create a belt that matched the straps to pull the dress together. I went back for another visit a few weeks later to pick out a veil, a necklace (that I forgot to wear!) and a few other beautiful pieces during their sale. We had a few bumps along the way, but Peter, Susan and Pamela were nothing short of accommodating and helpful. They maintained constant contact and offered up alternate solutions as needed. You can tell that they TRULY care about their brides. I would definitely recommend Simply Luxe for your wedding needs!

I found my wedding dress here! I am so excited that I finally found the dress that I was looking for. Pamela was great, every dress she chose for me was absolutely stunning. And when I was torn between 2 gowns, she made the most of both and customized it to be exactly what I was looking for. I got my wedding dress, belt, veil, jewelry, and bridesmaid dresses all from Simply Luxe. My consultant, Amanda, was absolutely amazing! She listened to what I liked and didnt like about each dress I tried on. I told her I trusted her and would try on anything she pulled for me, and she found the PERFECT dress. It wasnt what I had originally expected to choose, but it fit my body type perfectly, was elegant, and suited my venue well. Amanda helped me find a belt and veil that added the glitz I had imagined. My wedding dress was exclusive to Simply Luxe because it was one of the owners designs, Susan Samway.At every appointment Amanda and the whole team was so welcoming, helpful, patient, and provided genuine feedback and support. I have had the BEST experience with these ladies!! Specifically, Pamela, and Susan! These ladies have been through it all with me. I purchased a dress before covid, so had tons of waiting to do because we we wanted to be safe and they were so patient with me. They were there for me when my daughter became sick, they cried with me after knowing her story. They truly have the best hearts, and are the sweetest women I’ve ever met! They made finding my dress EASY! I went to many boutiques before going to simply luxe.. i went to simply luxe one day BY MYSELF and said yes to a dress with the help of these two! My dress is everything i want and more! 10/10 stars here. Highly recommend. You won’t regret it!

Im so glad I had the chance to experience my first (and last) wedding dress shopping experience at Simply Luxe. From the moment we walked in the door and saw the beaming faces of Pamela and Susan, we felt at ease. Pamela escorted us to the try-on area (which is STUNNING, BTW). We tried on a few looks that matched my style and from a couple favorite designers they carry. My absolute favorite was from the owner, Susan Samways very own line of bridal gowns. Pamela explained how they could easily customize any of her looks to match exactly what I wanted. While I didnt walk out of there with the dress on the first visit, I came back a week later with some of my own sketches and inspiration, and Susan worked her magic. She mocked up my dream dress right before my very eyes. It was a memory I will cherish forever, thanks to the fantastic team at Simply Luxe. Im happy to say that the wedding gown is in the works, and I dream to slip that work of art by Susan on once it comes in! Ive been added to the family tree and I also received the most lovely thank you note from Pamela (the store manager). Take a chance on Simply Luxe--you will love your experience!

Absolutely love this place! I was recommended to come here by a friend of mine & my expectations were blown away. I worked with Pamela but everyone there was so friendly, they followed guidelines really well, we all had to wear masks & everyone was distanced. I love the way the changing rooms are set up, I’m super anxious & nervous around other people so the fact that the only people seeing you was your entourage was very nice. The selection of dresses was amazing, I thought I would be indecisive but I ended up falling in love with one from the owners collection actually which made it super easy to customize it to me & I love how accommodating they are with that, I was able to get my dream dress without breaking the bank. Even when I decided I wanted to do another thing I was able to email them & get a quick response & make It even more perfect. I am so happy I found such a great place to get my dress, & not to mention it’s about 5 minutes from where I live so super convenient!

I had the best experience at the Simply Luxe boutique in Algonquin! The store is gorgeous, they have an amazing selection, and the staff was wonderful.I booked a bridal appointment (90 minutes) and was so lucky to work with Amanda (and Pamela)! It was my first day looking at dresses, so I was open to trying on a variety of different styles. Every dress Amanda brought me to try was beautiful...I truly started to picture myself as a bride! Toward the end of the session, we accidently found my dream dress when Amanda brought it over just to show color options. A few weeks later, I went back to Simply Luxe to Say Yes to my dream dress, by Susan Samway (owner and designer). I visited some other boutiques, but would highly recommend Simply Luxe above all. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and at ease. All of the staff I encountered were accommodating (to me and my in-person/virtual guests), genuine, and attentive. I cannot express how wonderful this place was. It was such a positive and meaningful experience for me. Thank you, Simply Luxe!

We had such an incredible experience picking out my wedding dress. It was a day I will remember forever. Val was super helpful and knew exactly what dresses to grab for me to try on based on my taste and style of what I was looking for. From the moment I first walked into Simply Luxe I knew I was in the right place. The lady at the reception gave me one of the most genuine and inviting greetings I can say I ever had in a retail environment and this really set the tone. The store is beautifully appointed and the selection of dresses is the best of any of the salons I visited. My consultant Susan really listened to what I had to say about the dress I envisioned wearing at my wedding. She was VERY knowledgeable and provided insightful input that highlighted the details of each gown I tried on. Susan was bubbly and fun to work with and was sure to include my group in the appointment (and she was able to tactfully pull the reins in on some of my more vocal guests lol!). When I found my dress, Susan didnt pressure me into a decision. She was open about how long it would take to come in and when I would need to decide and how this would work for my budget and wedding timeline. Super helpful! The staff at Simply Luxe definitely care that you get the dress of your dreams and they seem to value this over just making a sale and I really appreciated that. Finding a shopping experience like this is something that rarely happens and when its for a once in a lifetime purchase like your wedding dress, its something you wont soon forget. Absolutely worth the trip! Five stars isnt enough for Susan and Simply Luxe!

I bought my gown from Simply Luxe for my wedding next February. They were absolutely wonderful and having worked in bridal myself, they surpassed all my expectations!There was a dress I had become obsessed with but after contacting multiple stores and the designer of the gown itself I began to think I would never track it down, but Simply Luxe would not allow that. They found the dress and although it wasnt the one being able to see it in person put my mind at ease. I was able to move on and find the dress for me.My dress journey was not easy. I am a plus size bride and was looking for a unique dress to meet my sense of style and accentuate my curves, but most shops took one look at me and ignored everything I asked for and just showed me what samples they had in my size. Simply Luxe did the opposite, they listened! I was able to walk the racks to pull things I wanted and with imagination and talking the styles through with my consultant I was finally able to realize my vision and have the bridal moment I was beginning to think would never occur. I love love love this store. Valerie was the best consultant I have seen. She was very attentive and helpful in my friend finding her dream dress. She listened to what my friend wanted and brought the most gorgeous dresses we have seen. My friend said yes to her dress and Valerie deserves all the credit! Without her we would still be shopping. Simply Luxe is the best bridal shop I’ve been to! I was impressed the moment we walked in the door. The decor is adorable and the staff was so friendly and attentive. We were offered champagne and water right when we arrived. Valerie was a pleasure to work with. She made me feel special and was so helpful and patient. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and she was able to figure out my style without a problem. She made the whole process fun and enjoyable for all. One of the worst experiences I have had with a business, especially with the money I spent. I purchased over a $3000 dress from Simply Luxe Bridal and the experience I had was TERRIBLE! The dress took FOREVER to come in. When it did come in no one notified me... then they made it a point to say MULTIPLE times, over and over, that there would be enough time to have the dress altered when it came in... well when it came in they had changed their mind and couldn’t get it done for me. Less than a month out scrambling for a seamstress. Not to mention the alterations that needed to be done were HUGE because they had me order a dress WAY TOO BIG for me (and no I did not lose a bunch of weight after purchasing the dress). The measurements they took were sooooo far off! After finding out the dress was in and driving to the store, they had MOVED and informed NONE OF THEIR BRIDES. Moving locations is a pretty big thing and I would think they would at least let brides know that have already purchased a dress there. I know many girls that are currently engaged and will make sure they do not have the experience I had. I will tell them to look elsewhere.

Words cannot describe the AMAZING experience I had at Simply Luxe Bridal. I had read reviews before I went and they were great so I expected nothing less! Chloe greeted me and my entourage at the door and immediately made us feel at home and comfortable! We got champagne right away and the mood was set to have a great time! The store is beautiful, clean and modern. We had our own little side of the store, and my bridesmaids and mom were very comfortable waiting as I tried on dresses. This was the second bridal salon I had visited and was hoping to find my dress, but wasnt getting my hopes up. Chloe found dresses for me and was so so helpful and knowledgeable on the dresses. I wasnt finding EXACTLY what I wanted so I figured I would be settling on something that I didnt love. That was until Chloe brought me MY DREAM DRESS. It is perfect...all I could have imagined and more. The best experience I could have ever asked for and I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Susan, the owner was so wonderful too! I had questions the next day and she called me back right away. The day was perfect

Wonderful selection of dresses. Very helpful staff. Had a great experience. Went on a Saturday and didnt feel rushed at all. Valerie was great!Update: Alterations were very expensive and poorly done. I had to travel to the Highland Park location a few days before my wedding because my dress wasnt ready. I spent most of my reception in my bridal suite being sewn into my dress because the cheap, weak bustle clips the seamstress put in broke off before the reception even started.Despite multiple times of asking to have the dress shortened, I was told it was the correct length. It was, however, too long, and I ended up having to kick the dress out in front of me as I walked down the aisle.While I loved my dress, I would NEVER recommend getting alterations done here.

Beautiful store! I am getting married in January of next year and stumbled upon this gorgeous little shop on the knot. I had been looking for a very specific look (no lace, long sleeves, somewhat conservative but classic...) I emailed around to multiple shops trying to find a few specific dresses and the ladies at Simply Lux were super helpful and offered the exact dresses they had that would match my style. Upon my arrival, they had the dresses I wanted set aside for me and gave me the option to look through their inventory and see if I wanted to try anything else on.I worked with Chloe and she was absolutely wonderful! Super sweet and really heard my wants. She put a few unique styles together to make the picture in my mind a reality. I ended up with a few favorites including a custom dress from one of their designers.I was super grateful for the time she put into my appointment and all her input. She was honest and really listened. Unfortunately, I went a different route and found my dress somewhere else, but if it wasn’t for her, I would have left feeling super discouraged.I am a plus sized bride, so none of the dresses really fit me. Other shops I had gone to were similar but Chloe did an excellent job and making that a non issue. I am so grateful for the help Chloe gave me and I hope to be back to shop accessories!

Simply Luxe kept there doors open past hours JUST for us on a Sunday! We called them after a previous bridal appointment to see if they carried the same dress I just fell in love with at a different boutique. Thankfully, they did, and it was part of their trunk show as well! The shop was magazine worthy, the appointment ran smoothly, and I found the dress of my dreams! Customer service is still alive, people!

I found my wedding dress at SL in Algonquin and loved, loved my experience. I worked with both Alexandra and Susan (I had two different appointments) and they were both extraordinary. They even pulled a dress I tried on at Kleinfeld from their Highland Park store and brought it to Algonquin so I could try it on again. They answered all my questions and were fun and engaging, and gave me thoughtful, honest feedback throughout my entire experience. On top of the fantastic service, the store itself is the most beautiful boutique Ive been to. It just adds an awesome element to the entire experience. Cant recommend them enough. Super excited to be a Luxe bride!

Kelly was my consultant, and she did the perfect job guiding me toward my dream dress! I went during the Watters trunk show weekend, and they had all of the new collection ready to try on! Kelly asked me about my big day and what I liked in a dress, then picked some from the bunch for me to try! She added more based on what I liked/disliked as I tried things on. They only book 1 appointment at a time, so you basically have the gorgeous boutique to yourself as you explore! I came in thinking I wanted an A-line tulle gown, and left with a sleek, beaded top trumpet style (from the Love Marley collection). Susan even helped me guide mom (who needed directions) to the boutique, and we all celebrated with champagne! Truly a stress-free, joyful experience.

The shop is absolutely gorgeous, and the owners are extremely nice, professional, and welcoming! My mother and I found the perfect veil with Susans help. The ambience is lovely, the dresses and accessories are gorgeous, and the sales staff and owners are wonderful! I highly, highly recommend visiting this shop if youre looking for anything bridal!

I worked with Lizz at the Simply Luxe Algonquin location. This was my 4th dress store and I was blown away with Simply Luxe!!! From the moment i walked in they made me feel like a princess. Lizz worked with me to find the perfect dress and was patient with me when I was second guessing my choice! She was amazing to work with and helped me to customize my dress so its unique to me! I cant wait for the final product to be complete - but I know it will be perfect :)

My appointment at Simply Luxe went fine and I ended up getting my dress from them, despite being told there werent going to be many options in my price range (even though I called ahead and told them what my price range was). When it came time to pick up my dress I had my grandmother get it for me because I live in NC. When I tried my dress on it was too small by at least 2.5 inches. In order to make my dress fit my seamstress was going to have to cut off half of my train to add enough fabric to my waist. My sister called Simply Luxe to see if there was anything they could do, but instead of politely apologizing and letting us know they couldn’t do anything they shifted all of the blame on to me. They said I gained weight, accused my sister of lying, and refused to help me in any way. I found a log of my measurements I had taken down from the past 5 years or so and I have always been the same size, which means I was measured incorrectly, or the numbers were written down wrong. Even still with the measurements they took they ordered me the WRONG size dress. I should have been ordered a dress at least 2 sizes bigger so there would be room for alterations. They said it was my fault I got the wrong size because they reviewed the order with me before placing it. But when a PROFRESSIONAL is telling you that you are one size and this is the size dress you need you listen to their recommendations. After much back and forth and several phone calls they agreed to sell me 1 yard of fabric. But after spending so much money on a wedding dress I find it completely appalling that they weren’t even willing to give me 1 yard of fabric. Which by the way never came because they never placed the order for it. Most businesses understand that customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance, Simply Luxe does NOT. They were rude, unprofessional, and unaccommodating. I do not recommend their store and hope this never happens to anyone else.

Absolutely adored my dress shopping experience with Lizz at Simply Luxe! My girls and I had the best time and felt so spoiled! Lizz picked up on my style super fast and helped me pick the dress of my dreams, and for that I couldn’t be more thankful 🥰

Not a good company. My fiance lost weight since her sizing appointment and they blamed her for the dress not fitting by saying she changed sizes in the other direction (she lost weight, they said she gained weight). They were extremely rude and even forgot to order extra fabric after we purchased it. We waited 10 weeks and their response was: Sorry, you have to wait another 10 weeks. Completely unacceptable and I would not recommend this place.

My maid of honor was in town for the weekend and she wanted me to try on some dresses, so we booked an appointment at Simply Luxe Bridal Boutique.I was not expecting to find my dress that day, but voila!My mom wasnt with us that day, so we had to book another appointment to try it on again with her there. (Susan the owner was totally ok with this and didnt pressure us for the sale which was a pleasant surprise based on some of the stories Ive heard from friends who have gone dress shopping).We had our own seating area which was nice and we didnt feel like people were walking through our area.After trying on a few gowns I liked and a few that Susan suggested, I found my dress! The custom change I wanted (train length) was no problem and the ordering process was crazy smooth.Im definitely bring my girls here for bridesmaids dresses.Cant wait to try my dress on when it comes in!

What a great boutique!!

Was here early 2017 helping a friend shop for her wedding dress. Went during a trunk show for one of the designers. That first appt was fantastic and the consultant was polite, helpful, and obliged us and the bride to be when we asked questions about dresses and accessories.The second time when the bride actually chose her dress, they brought in another consultant who was very clearly meant to be the closer. She was significantly pushier in terms of attempts to upsells and it slightly took everyone out of the moment. (The bride did end up purchasing her dress that day, but that was the plan from the start.)The attempts to upsell are logical given that it is a business, but it would be nice if it wasnt quite as overt. Would for sure head here if I were wedding dress shopping for myself, but Id go in prepared for the sales pitches.

My mom, me and my sister ( the bride) went into day. The sales stuff is so professional. My sisters consultant Jenniel was not pushy at all. She was so sweet. The one dress ( watters brand) my sister liked came with a belt & the sales consultant Jenniel brought several other belts to try on. She gave her options and helped with ideas for hair styles too. And let her try on the hair combs she liked. After that my sister tried on some more wedding dresses, but she keep on coming back ( referring) to the watters wedding gown she tried on. And Jenniel was very nice and my sister if she like to put the putting the watters gown back on. When we where done with our appointment. I asked Jenniel if I could have the one bridal catalog I saw as I walking to front of the boutique, And she was so sweet. She gave all of the complimentary catalogs. I think there are like 5 total. I was like I just want the one, she was like you can have one of each. We only gone through like 2 so far, lol. I would highly recommend simply luxe bridal boutique. Its such a cute boutique and in a good shopping area in Algonquin. I love the atmosphere. Very cute and fresh boutique. And if you like bling and sparkle wedding dresses. I would come here. The wedding dresses range from $1000-$3000.
