Trek Bicycle Algonquin really really great customer service they saved me like 700 bucks for a crank arm I have been looking for from last two weeks for my stationary bike. I highly recommend this place. A++++ service. Super nice and friendly staff. definitely will visit again.

I went into the shop hoping for a solution that would make my bike fit better without have to stretch quite so much for the handlebars. Zane suggested that a new stem would be a good fix. Two weeks later, Im back on the bike trail and his solution has improved my ride immensely. Im thrilled. The charge was reasonable and there was no upselling pressure.

I cold called with an issue with my brakes and was told they’d take a look at it. The owner took a look and could tell it was a simple beginners error. He fixed my problem and took the time to show me what I did wrong and how to avoid it in the future. This store should definitely be on your radar.

Ive purchased several bikes from Trek Algonquin and always have a good experience in the shop. This is a must visit location, Rob and Zane make the visit worth the trip with great knowledge and conversation!

Very nice store, and the service is great! They have a variety of bicycles to choose from as well as lots of accessories, helmets, shoes, etc. The service is the best part of the place as far as Im concerned. Zane is the best. They get your bike serviced in a very timely manner, as good as new, and if you play your cards right and look for special deals, such as their winter/spring tuneup, you can get stuff done for a very reasonable price.

My dad got his Trek Emonda SL6 E-Tap bike a few weeks ago from Trek. He has been using it and it creates a very smooth and swift ride when it comes to climbing hills and on the flat roads. Thanks for the recommendation of Rob and Zane! They are very helpful and provide great service! The bike is worth it!

Found out the hard way when the site says IN WAREHOUSE that does not mean IN STOCK. That means they have it but it will take a few days before they have it IN STORE! Other than that they were very helpful and knowledgeable! My bike is old and never came with a kick stand and thanks to them that will change. You may want to rethink being closed on sundays however. The weekends are usually the only time most people have time to do anything!

My experience here was amazing. Zane took such good care of me. He was honest with me the whole time. Being a bigger man he talked me out of a few bikes because of my size and Im very happy he did. Our sales person (Ryan) was very helpful in showing us the differences in a couple models we were looking at. He also helped us determine which models he could get in and on what date they would arrive. This helped us given the current long waiting times for some of the models. Very happy to have received both of our bikes on schedule as specified at the time of purchase.

I have been a client of Trek Algonquin for 5 years. Rob and Zane are incredibly knowledgeable and helped me get started right in the sport of cycling. Rob’s tips helped me prepare well for an International cycling trip and later when it was time to upgrade, helped me pick the right bike. And every time I go in they have been helpful even when I wasn’t buying something. I took my bike in for service recently but on my next ride I still had a squeak. I stopped by the store and Zane patiently helped me figure that the squeak was actually my shoe and then he fixed my shoe! That is excellent service. I will never go anywhere else!!!

Good selection of bikes and reasonable prices. Steven was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He answered all questions (lots of them) in a way we understood and saved us money on service by recommending a lower tier service. From now on Ill only go here for service/tune-ups.

The gentleman that helped me (wish I had asked his name) was a wealth of knowledge and fitted me for the perfect shoe for my needs. I am definitely going back to this store to buy all my accessories. I had went into a shop in Rockford before I came to the shop and had a pretty poor experience. When I walked in Nick was so helpful in explaining everything to me. Although there was some confusion I came back a few days later and the manager Zane helped me out and let me just tell you that the customer service is absolutely incredible. They truly take care of their guests and make you feel like family. I also spoke with the owner and the shop is family owned I definitely recommend supporting them as much as you can if you’re looking for a new bike

I found a TREK bike at goodwill and brought it in to be brought up to code.The staff took their time and even refunded me some of the fee because the bike needed more TLC than I was willing to do at this time. Rob and the team are very friendly and great to work with. As a first time buyer, it was a bit intimidating walking into a bike store, but the team gave a lot of insight on what bike would be best bike, differences between levels, and the service is outstanding. I had my ebike maintenanced and have stopped in a few more times to check in on my pre-order (patiently being impatient) and to purchase some additional gear (handlebar grip, kick stand, bike rack, patches) Each time the guys there were great and very personable. They are hard at work putting bikes together and getting them ready for us. I should have my bike in hand very soon, it was sitting on the floor pre-built and ready for the add-ons and final tuning.Trek Algonquin is highly recommended!

Great shop. I wanted to try out the electra townie in a tall size. Rob was nice enough to order it without and agreement to purchase. When the bike arrived, it was perfect. Took my bike to Trek Bicycle Algonquin to have the hydraulic breaks bled since they were no longer tightly grabbing the rotors. The work was done quickly and the breaks are now working as expected. Thank you for the quick service. Will return for future bike repairs.

Amazing staff at Trek Algonquin!

I don’t live by this bike shop but I wish I did. They organized a century ride to Lake Geneva a few weeks ago. It cost all of $10 and we had 35-40 cyclists riding up. We broke up in smaller groups and waited at turns to regroup. They supplied support with vehicle that had water and fruit. When we arrived at bike / coffee shop in Lake Geneva eight of us rode back together and had great pizza supplied by Trek Algonquin. I wish shops by me sponsored rides like this!

The bike is incredible the service that I have gotten from Trek Algonquin has been perfect. These guys rock. They were so patient cuz I was being a little girl :) I kept changing the color the type of components the accessories. They really worked hard to make me happy. The end product is I am ecstatic, The service is far beyond just being a customer its like you are part of the family. Completely trust these guys, I would highly recommend Trek Algonquin if you are in the market for a new bike or need service on your bike. I recently had issues with my Domane Project 1 and they went above and beyond what it took to have it fixed. As I said before these are people you can fully trust.
