I would give zero stars if possible. We have had our bed less than a week and it is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Its basically an expensive ($8,600 to be exact) air mattress (even those are more comfortable). Theyre running a great scam over here. We purchased the base that includes the heating option, it barely gets warm. Not at all the way the model in the store feels. The salesperson, Dana, never once mentioned the base is a final sale, even after i brought up concerns on the warranty policy. after talking to a manager at customer service, theyll take it back for a $500 restocking fee. This is on top of the $199 delivery fee we dont get back and $199 pick up fee we will be charged. So were basically paying $900 for a bed we used for 6 days. If youre considering this, read the negative reviews. Theyre not wrong.
I purchased my next bed here. I hope it is as good as the demonstration unit.
Saw advertising on TV for 360 bed at 50% off, which Dayna never showed to us! She also ran both of our credit scores (which did ding them) saying she knew what she was doing, when it became odvious she didnt
Dennis, Kathy, Rick and the whole team were fantastic during my early Friday morning appt to help me pick and choose out my Sleep Number bed...never pushy and let me take my time to choose what I felt was best for me! Happy that I made this purchase and felt like they all had true passion for the product, so it made me confident in spending the money for something that will change my life!
We visited this store on a Friday night because it was the only store in a two hour radius from our home. Dennis was kind enough to stay open later than the store-posted hours to accommodate us. He didnt make us feel rushed and didnt skip over any of the educational information about the bed. When we decided to make a purchase, he worked with us to find the best deal. I highly recommend this store if youre considering purchasing this bed.
The associates were very personable and professional, helping us find exactly what we needed and also helping us save the most money. Would recommend the sleep number bed as well as the store!

So to be fair, we have been sleep number bed owners for about 6 years and we LOVE the thing!! We are in the process of moving and wanted to upgrade!We were so excited this little store opened right in Algonquin. We were hoping we wouldnt have to drive all the way out to lock down our new bed!And sleep number overall is just amazing. My husband likes sleeping on much firmer beds while I would love to just jump and burrow into a pile of pillows... very very different sleep preferences. And now that my husband has started to take on the delightful characteristic of snoring, we opted for the i8 Queen so we can easily lift up the head of the bed for when I cant take anymore noise!They offered a great number of accessories too that we are excited to test run! We bought a couple pair of sheets (since we have the lifting bed... they are specially made to accommodate so they dont pop off) and some pillows! Excited for the delivery!
The people were Great! Rick did a outstanding job explaining all the options and how it all works. He had me lay on several beds to show the diffences. He made me feel at ease, gave me a bottle of water, answered all my questions,but he didnt sell me a bed the bed sold itself.. These beds are not cheap but when you lay on it you are comfortable, when you sleep on it you know its money well spent. This is the last bed I will ever buy. Im so glad I so glad I stopped in. THANKS Rick I love the bed.
Went in on a Saturday, JUST BROWSING, and considering option. Rick helped us understand what Sleep Number is, what the options were, and helped us understand some other options on the market.We walked away for a few hours and went about our day browsing, just to come back and ultimately purchase. Rick was very nice and accommodating while we were there. He did not pressure us into anything, and was gracious when we asked for his card and time to consider our options.We have not received the bed yet, so I cannot comment on the actual mattress, warranties, etc; but, we are happy with our local Sleep Number store.

Pleasant staff and very easy to work with. Spent the most restful and relaxing 2-1/2 hours getting our sleep number and testing the various beds in their collection. Back and body felt comfortable and relaxed and the stress on our back was eliminated. Await the delivery of our beds.
Presentation was excellent it is a very good product, with excellent professionals who understand customers. They know your needs and show you how Sleep Number is the solutions to your challenges. March 10 ours arrives.
Dont buy a base from here. When I went to this store they tried to sell me the base and the bed because the base cant be returned and that is the only way they can be sure to get commission on the sale if you are not happy with the bed. I almost bought a bed and base from this store and is a good thing I only bought the bed because the bed was awful. I had purchased the P5 bed and it was the worst experience of my life. The first few nights of having, it I was in pain. When calling customer service “Sleep Specialist” they recommended changing the way I sleep because “this bed is designed for back sleepers” and to try the bed for 30 days. I did what they said and it only got worse.I called customer service and ask were to send the bed. They tell me that they will not take the bed and I have to have it picked up. It will be a pick up fee of $200 and I have to take more time off to wait for their pick up/delivery. This is the first I was told of a return fee and was told it was a “free 100 night trial”. How can you call it a free trial and then charge to take it back? I asked why it is $200 when I am willing to take it to their distribution center myself. The reply was that is the fee is in the terms and conditions and that is the only way that they will take it back. I then offered to ship it on my dime or bring it to a store so I don’t have to take time off of work to wait around for them to come out and I was again told that was not an option. So I got to pay $200 for 30 days of the worst sleep of my life. DON’T BUY A SLEEP NUMBER!
The sales representatives were great. I never felt pressured and they let me go over options for a long time. Two members of my family own this brand- they swear it’s life changing. I cannot wait for my delivery.
1. Warranty was stated as 25 Years, no qualifiers.Its a lie. Its actually 2 years, then YOU need to pay.2. You can return it if you dont like it pointing at the bed system to be sold.Its a lie. Only the mattress can be returned. The base is not returnable - and its horribly overpriced (about $4000 vs. $1000 found similar online). Thats about $3000 pure profit for them (and loss for you). Remember, you cant return it.3. Evaded my questions regarding what a Free Mattress Trial Period really means. See prior posts. It turns out that you need to pay a few hundred dollars no matter what.4. Evaded important questions like Is the mattress pad covered under the warranty? (The answer is no). Instead jumped to questions like Would you like to pay cash or finance?5. The 360 beds (mid and upper models) require you to be continuously hooked up to the internet to get proper bed firmness. The internet connection sends your heart rate and bed activity information to the Sleep Number company. Do you want the Sleep Number corporation to know your name, address, and bedtime activity level? (Yes, they have the ability to figure out when YOU PERSONALLY might be having SEX).I suspect that Well get the usual response from this posting - that is Sorry that you were dissatisfied with our service. We are always trying to improve our customer experience - or some such trash.Please dont try to push this on us. Its clear to me that the demo I went through was corporate designed drivel designed to extract the maximum amount of money from trusting senior folk.Without too much trouble I have found alternate air bed makers online (one is from Orlando - do your own research! ), and I bought the base from the other BIG online sales site.So Select Comfort corporation please consider this- If you run out of customers, then you are out of a job. In a sense WE are your boss. Consider yourself put on notice!
Store associates are great. The overall service is horrible!!! I ordered my bed on may 16th. Delivery was supposed to be today June 4th. Techs call me and say they will be here within 50 mins. So I wait, then get a call saying they have to reschedule my delivery for July 10th!!! I will be asking for a full refund and will never recommend or by anything from them again!!!
They could do a better job of informing you which models carry the options your interested in and not only the highest priced. Very sorry we did not research further. The I8 mattress is very good but the foundation is not worth the money. Bare wires on all connections. Installers do not know how to attach bed to existing headboard. Timer on control works sporadically.

By far the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL installing crew I have had known to date. Service was lacking on all phases when installers showed up at my house. One of the installers even hit on my wife and my bed still isnt functional. Why pay so much money for terrible quality work and professionalism will be returning the bed and going to a different mattress provider. So much potential and so little follow through. What a shame

DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE EVER! ESPECIALLY, DO NOT BUY A SLEEP NUMBER IF YOURE A SIDE SLEEPER!!!So, lets start out by saying that when they try to sell you the bed, they tell you to only lay on your back. I told them thats not the way my husband and I sleep. We, like most people, lay on our sides. We went through the entire sales shpeel and laid on our backs during the testing of the beds. If Im going to try out a bed, Im going to lay the way I sleep. Makes sense, right? Well, not for these scam artists. Every time I laid on my side, they kept telling me to lay on my back not my side. My husband was convinced that this was the right bed, but I wasnt. Also, we only wanted the mattress since we had a movable base already. They also kept telling us that by buying the mattress only, we would not be able to work all the bells and whistles of the bed. We already had a movable base, so thats all we wanted was the mattress. $7,000 dollars later, we bought the mattress, and they convinced us to buy the split top. As were checking out, the guy is adding on 2 sets of sheets on our bill (which I didnt ask for or notice till looking at our bill) $319 for EACH set of sheets since they have the split top!!!! Crazy! My gut said no to all of this. I decided to cancel the whole thing a few days later and that part was easy with customer service. But they had already mailed the sheets. So, we werent home when the sheets arrived. Customer service said I could bring them back to the store where we originally shopped. When I went back to the Algonquin store, the manager, whos a shady slime ball with dyed fake black hair, said they wouldnt take it back but that I could exchange them. So, I drove 45 minutes for nothing. I had to go to the post office and ship them which cost me $85 in shipping! We called customer service again and they were very accommodating and reimbursed us and told us that the store manager was wrong that he should have accepted the package of sheets. He was just mad that we canceled and wanted to punish us for it. What a jerk. Anyway, long story short, if youre a side sleeper, DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE A SIDE SLEEPER AND DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE IF YOU WORK HARD AND VALUE YOUR SLEEP AND MONEY....... THEY RIP YOU OFF!!!!! And the manager with fake black dyed hair is a con artist!
