Big shout out to Zach in the deli. Stopped in this evening to get some chicken and there were a lot of people waiting to get deli items. He was super busy working by himself but did his best to get to everyone in a timely manner. Hard working young man

Once or twice a year, I visit family in Louisiana and the local grocery store is Albertsons. Living in the north, it’s rare to see beer & wine in a grocery store, so it was cool to purchase alcohol from the grocery store as well. The staff are friendly, respectful, & helpful. The store was always clean and almost everything was fully stocked, every time we shopped at Albertsons.

Their bakery needs to do better, this is the closest thing to being a bougie grocery store the bakery has always been subpar. They are willing to sell old bakery items and damn super old to be clearance. Other than that, the grocery is pretty decent for Alexandria....

Purchased raw oysters. Very fresh and the price was almost $1.50 cheaper per Oyster than in the restaurant.

My go to store. Always well stocked. Can get in and out rather quickly. Some prices higher then Walmart but sometimes its worth it.

My Uncle was Hit and Run in your parking lot!! This happened, Fri. Sept.2nd 2021!! No eye witnesses, no camera survaliance in your parking lot!! Cameras in store show him shopping, once he left the store nothing until someone came into your store and asked for help.Please help, he is at a trauma center in Shreveport... whoever did this picked him up, put him in his car and took off! How can no one not see anything at 3-4 pm on a Fri? There is no way he could have got on his car alone, his injuries are severe. Please help. You can PM me or reply here.

Nice, clean store but finding someone to help you may be a challenge! Needed shitaki noodles and having never been in the store, looked around and could not find them (normally in produce) .... nor could I find anyone to help me.Husband went to Customer Service to find someone. Customer Service agent used her phone to verify they were in store but could not locate them. After 10 minutes of looking, my husband finally came back with his phone.Meanwhile, I found someone stocking but they could not help me. Went to the back and got someone else. This gentlemen did not know what they were or where they would be.Finally decided to use something else since no one seemed able to assist us.

Location great lottery ticket machine convient but one entrance and exit ...really needs a upgrade . That has got to be a fire hazard

Very friendly cashier and I are finishing up my total. Before I can pay a rude lady pulls down her mask and demands help finding a product. She almost runs me over while I am collecting my items. One get more employees to help. Two dont let people like this run off your good paying customers.

Any time you walk into the store then boys are nice and friendly in the place is super clean even the bathrooms and if they dont have something they send you to a grocery store that does have it and very helpful

Purchased a purple cabbage. Later noticed i was charged over 16 dollars. Went back, forgot the cabbage but had the receipt. Was told I had to bring cabbage in. Did not want an exchange or full refund just credit for correct amount. No apology no eye contact. Went to purchase a large piece of salmon, and ask lady behind counter to cut it. Was told no cant cut it. Ask why? I dont know. She verified with co-worker. Been shopping at albertsons for over 3 yrs and have always had the salmon cut after weighing, not individually wrapped, just cut. A few occasions had 2-3 pieces individually wrapped. Everyone seems to behave as if they were doing me, the customer, a favor.Cashier never said hello, thank you or smiled. Poor customer service experience today!

Staff are polite. I enjoy shopping their clearance sections. Just 4u rewards & digital coupons allow me to save at least 50% off regular prices. BUYER BEWARE: This location keeps and attempts to sell expired items to consumers, so always check product expiration dates.Im looking forward to this location getting grocery delivery!

So I typically love those store but I had such a bad experience this last week that I’m not sure I’ll come back. My baby was great during the entire shopping trip until I was in the middle of checking out. He started crying. I had already started the transaction so I couldn’t just walk away. Instead of anyone trying to help me out, I was being glared at by the cashiers and customers like I was a major inconvenience. My cashier said, “what’s wrong with him?” Then my coupons wouldn’t work from my Just For U. The cashier (half green hair and half brown) rolled her eyes and called the someone over to help. The supervisor was very tense and she rattled off some orders then walked off. The cashier had to re-scan my stuff and the coupons still didn’t work. They were new coupons from their website. So I ended up spending quite a bit of extra money that I couldn’t afford. The only good thing that happened is a sweet older gentleman came over and helped me into my car. I was in tears from frustration and relief for the help.

They have all your needs! Liquor, food, fruit, even Starbucks.Real nice and helpful employees too!

I was just visiting in town but the young lady that works in the fish department where you get the fresh meat is very very rude she needs to be retrained.

Take your card inside, don’t use it at the gas pumps! Only got gas early Wednesday morning, June 30, around 6:15, at this Albertson’s close to the Courtyard Marriott on S MacArthur in Alexandria, LA .After that our card was used several times in Texas until the bank shut it down.Tried calling the store many times to tell them they have a card skimmer on their pumps but no answer that day or the next. Inconvenient and aggravating to not be able to use your card when traveling. Waiting on our new card now.

We purchase many of our daily items from, Albertsons in Alexandria La. They are one of our “stores of choice” we buy from them weekly.

As usual, weekly sale items posted; however two of the sale items I wanted were not available. This happens every time I shop at Albertsons. If they are going to have a sale on items they should have ample supplies in stock for everyone. Wasted trip!

Nice selection and very clean store

It was great. I found everything that I was looking for and Annette and Jamie was very friendly. Also the cashier was very friendly and check out was fast.

They have self checkout available which is expedient when complete. Staff is pleasant.

Very good customer serves. They care about you. Cleaning is top grade. I have to have a mask on, if i forget it they furnished one for me. I feel very safe there. Managers help on anything.

The fish market was over powering!And the selection down!I like the fresh fruit and vegatable choices, and the staff very eager to help.

Needed more produce selection but was otherwise ok.

Girl at service desk didnt know how to do a western union and after waiting on her to try to figure it out for 15 minutes, she informed me she couldnt do it and the only employee that could, at that time, was on break, and wouldnt be back for around 30 more minutes.Very high prices too. My daughter wanted a mylar balloon that was in the floral department. I had them do a price check and they informed me it was $30.00. Im not paying that much for a balloon.

I visited Albertsons today, for the first time, in a long time. For starters, I want to like the store. You can find just about anything in this store, that you may see around the world! Its comfortable, the aisles are wide, flooring is gorgeous! Having said that, I have to say, those are just about the only redeeming features, the store has. I found a few of the people are rude or at least, indifferentI asked where one item was and she said, I dont know. Youll have to ask them up front If that had been Super One, she would have immediately gone to help me find the item! This is an upscale store. Look around you and you will see well dressed professionals, seemingly upper crust society, who dont mind spending double what the other stores are asking. Personally, I do mind! For a few brief moments, I enjoyed strolling the aisles, taking in the home-like environment, loving looking at the exotic foods and rarely seen items, in other stores. Then, I came to my senses and paid for my one item, that I thought was a good deal, because it was marked on sale, only to find that exact item, later at another store, for .50 less! A beautiful store, many amenities but often times, prices are double! Please understand, this is just my opinion, based on todays visit. You may feel different.

Store is clean and well stocked, but arrangement seems random and illogical. I wanted to give 3 stars but that felt harsh since this isnt my regular go-to for grocery shopping. However, to have cheeses located in at least 3 different locations- none in dairy - is just wrong.

Terrible location, very unsafe after the sun goes down. Didnt have anything I went there for. It was clean inside the store though...

Very busy. Almosy no food on stock to purchase, due to hurricane Laura. Place was clean, decent and service was good from employees.

That have the best seafood salad; but you have to get it from the deli, not the seafood counter.

Very clean, like that it has a star bucks & florist. Things that dont please me is when your in such a big store and ask for a particular product and they tell you to look down isle 20, then you look and theres 1000 items and they wont assist you more than that.

I dont hate it I love it to,it has a lot of different variety, thats why I love it, the fruit trays, the shrimps, the fried and bake chicken. Great place to shop clean fully stock an not crowded

Now one thing I can say about this place they do have the best in food. Ive gotten some watermelon from here and it was delicious, it reminded me of how watermelon use to taste when I was growing up. They do have reasonable prices, great fruits, and other wonderful products.

I absolutely HAVE to brag on the Starbucks staff. I drive 30 minutes not only because they make my coffee PERFECTLY, no matter how difficult my order may be. They ask me how I’m doing, always compliment me, have wonderful general conversation. I really hope this review gets to Management somehow, because that group DESERVES recognition for their friendliness, hard work and overall best coffee in Cenla. Hats off Albertsons Starbucks, you guys are the best in town. Keep making a difference in this world ♥️♥️

Clean, well stocked store with friendly staff. The butcher department is my favorite in this area. Great selection of seafood & our favorite for steaks. The produce is always fresh with lots of selection. Gourmet cheese section is quite large. Precooked foods are really good. You can always find something for a quick meal on the run.
