You dont have to buy in bulk to take advantage of the low prices. A good variety of items from furniture to chips and everything in between.

Its a great place for basic necessities, which is awesome as its walking distance from me. Only complaint is that its soda selection is a bit bizarre. They have mountain dew in 2 litre for but not in cans or bottles but they have diet mountain dew in cans and bottles

The parking is very convenient. Stores offers variety of products and furniture. I normally visit this location for a quick stop for essentials. Shelves are always stock making it easy to shop.

I have faced the worse customer service from a store team leader (David) I was exactly in the line with social distance he acted very bad and bad tone to be behind the posted letter, after that he roll over his eyes at me, I felt he was tired because he was alone at cashier desk the line was pretty big, I will never ever go again to this store!Being a manager or team leader needs a lot of patient and respect for customers.

Really nice, small big lots. Im used to the Pennsylvania big lots. In Pittsburgh they are much larger. This one had all the things I was looking for. The sales clerks were very helpful. I left very happy. They should be commended for a great job well done. Thanks everyone.👍

Great products and good prices. Bought a new trash bin for the bathroom at a great price but didnt like the look. Had bought a plastic planter and decided to see how it would look as a trash bin. It was perfect! Still new to this part of the country and cant understand why most of the cashiers are so unpleasant. They dont greet you warmly, rarely smile and they NEVER say thank you for shopping in the store. Not like the Big Lots back home. Oh well, I still LOVE Big Lots; just wish they were closer to me.

Great store / Fun shopping

I always feel like this store is a let down and depressing... Yes, they have cleaning supplies, bargain brand cosmetics, and junk food to the ceiling, but that’s about it. The rest of their inventory is lackluster. Last night, I made an online order to be picked up in-store. I had to call customer service to be told the item is out of stock. 12 hours later and not even a courtesy email from this store with an update. I’m not surprised, honestly. Skip this trashy place for a Walmart or Dollar General for frugal shopping. They’ve lost my business for good. 👎🏾

There was no order in this store. I was there less than five minutes. Top to store bin no bottoms.. found some other storage bin in two other locations. Frustrating no one on the floor for assistance

I went there to buy some furniture but I disappointed the store seems have limited stuff.

Went to help a friend get a mattress that she ordered online. They brought it out for us on a dolly and the staff member did all the work of lifting it onto out truck and strapping it down. Incredibly friendly, quick, and efficient!Thank you Demetri! Felt so comfortable driving down the highway with a mattress after his work :)

James was amazing to work with! HOWEVER, I would probably NEVER return to this store due to the manager David. He was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. When asked if they had a product his response was nope and walked away. When asked if he could check the back just to be sure he said we haven’t had it In due to COvid so he knows they don’t have it. Absolutely ridiculous not to try other stores. James called 2 other stores for us just to check. Will never be back and can’t say how awful David was to work with.

Always a stop when Im in Alexandria! I love this Big Lots because there is ample parking and the store is a stand alone structure. Huge selection and always clean and organized. There are only 2 registers, so the lines can get a little long and wait times increase during busy times. Overall, the best Big Lots in the NOVA area.

Big Lots has really changed, in my opinion! They are letting items pile up, out of season items still being sold at too high of a price, products scattered throughout the store, carts and baskets blocking the isles, and the prices are just as high as in the grocery store. Not as many bargains as they use to have.I did find some Ocean Spray Cranberry juice that I just love and I love the price too!The store location on Stevenson Avenue is too small for all the merchandise that they sell.They also dont carry a large variety of cleaning products like they use to carry, like Spic n Span, Biz, and Oxyodol!But I still love them, but I dont go as often as I use to.But theyre worth a visit! You never know what you will find!BTW They dont sell clothing at this location!

Yesterday, I used a whopper 20% off coupon on a a set of drawer organizers I really from needed. That always feels good. If more people understand how hard it is to 1) do retail, 2) hire people to care about their jobs 3) how much pressure there is to stock and sell, then theyd go easier on stores like this which offer low cost products.

This big lots is like many others... They offer a variety of goods at an affordable price. Where this big lots differs is the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I enjoy going to this big lots as it is never packed, but always well stocked. I have been going to this store for over 2 years and will continue to do so not because of geographical convenience but because they are a well run store.

My honest experience this place is always clutter and mess every time I got there is always pile of boxes on each Aile. Im shocked to see 5 stars given to this place 😅😅 must be a joke . They need to hire a store manager who knows how to manage the employees are ok some never smile seem like they dont want to be there . The place has potentialBut I dont like big lots in my neighborhoodWe need a star buck or a nice cofee shop.

Called before I arrived to inquire a Christmas Tree that was out of stock online and in surrounding stores. The manager I assune, Ron said they only have three available. I told him I was on the way and he graciously held the tree for me. The store is huge and busy but being a big lots customer I didnt mind the additional people or driving thirty minutes to the store. I will return to this store again and I want to say thank you for excellent customer service Ron.

Typical Big Lots. Relatively clean. The staff was nice and helpful. They were out of several cleaning items that I went the for. Their furniture is on the expensive end considering where it’s coming from. Home Goods and TJ Max have better prices and more style.

This is my go to place for cleaning products, dry goods. They even have refrigerator and freezer section. I love going Christmas shopping here. Great location right of Duke Street. Plenty . Of parking. Very clean store. Look for the specials at the front of the store.

Big Lots has become my go-to for brand name cleaning products, outdoor fun, and even some groceries, too. I like the Buzz Club Rewards and frequently get discounts to use. The associates are friendly and never mind helping you look for something. Rotating stock with frequent new finds.

Gets better every time I visit. They have really upped their game by rearranging the store and diversifying their merchandise. The home decor section is small, but I always find something cute. Snacks galore get me in trouble because now they have Zapp’s chips - total weakness. Some random things I’ve bought recently include, tissues, kitty litter, laundry detergent, mints, and batteries.

A good place for buying random stuff and furniture - they either have it, or not. I give the store two star less than 5 because of the mess. Especially some of the isles with small hardware or pencils and crayons, I literally had to go through a pile of stuff to check whether they had what I was looking for.On the positive side, they also carry a vegetable and tomato spread, I havent seen at any other place, very similar to what is called lutenitsa in Bulgaria and for $3 a jar (half a litre jar, mind you), it is a steal. One time I bought all 16 jars they had at the store and one of their employees joked at me wondering whether i knew what I was buying :)))

Big lots is a random store and I am ok with it.

Cheap name-brand household items (cleaners, detergents, storage etc), cheap name-brand health and beauty (shampoos, lotions, vitamins etc), cheap canned goods and pantry items (Heinz, Bobs Red Mill etc). You never know what else youll find at drastically slashed prices, either: furniture, electronics, toys, home goods. Dont come in with expectations or a list, and leave happy.
