They turned around our order for save the dates in one business day with no additional charges for a rush order. They also provided a free proof print, so I could be sure the gold ink I used looked great on paper. I highly recommend you use this print shop! My partner and I arrived at the old town Alexandria location in an emergency as our printer broke and we needed about 40 presentations as soon as possible.The team was excellent, all of them worked hard and fast, gave us a great price, offered us for an extra small fee staples, so that saved us even more time.I would definitely go back for any printing job, they are very professional!I could not get the name of the woman that first helped us, but she was very sweet as well as the gentleman doing the printings.Very happy with the service.

Minuteman Press recently printed 200 books for me for a school fundraiser. What can I say about Jeff and Opal at the Minuteman Press at 1429A on Duke Street in Alexandria? Well let’s just say, when writing this review, I was a first-time customer and not only do I know their first names; I feel completely comfortable, based on my experience with them…to cite them for this review. Now let’s get down to the brass tax of customer satisfaction.I am a part owner of a small IT security consulting firm. I work out of my home and have a decent home printer. However, to print this job at home, would take all day and way too many ink cartridges. After doing some research online, I took a chance their Minuteman Press base on the location and people’s reviews. I had a day to turn around over 3600 pages, 7 volumes federal proposal as my print job. My initial proposal submission had been electronic, but the government came back and asked for hard copies, a day before the 4th of July, with their deadline being two days later.Jeff and Opal, not only turned my order around on short notice, but they got it done 2 hours early! The initial order set up dance could not have been easier. Jeff quickly deciphered my requirements and gave me a reasonable quote. I think the whole process from when I walked in the door and was back in car going home, was like 15 minutes. I left very hopeful and surprising stress free, considering following afternoon’s deadline, and that it was like 100 degrees outside that day.Lastly, let’s talk attention to detail. In prepping my files for whomever I selected, post research to print this job. I missed correcting one of the graphics on one of the 7 volume covers. I fixed the other six, but accidentally missed one. Most printers would have just printed the job as they receive it, but not this shop. Opal called and apprised me of the error when they came to it, and then gave me time to send a replacement file. I of course started panicking thinking this would cause them to miss the pick up deadline we had agreed upon, but no, they still get my whole order done early. In fact, I was able to deliver my proposal hours before my deadline.You know what they say, “first impression is everything.” Well, based on my experience this first time out, the one thing I can say for sure is…I found my go-to-print shop!

Im baffled. Ive gone to this print shop four times this year. Today they told me they wont do my print job because I wasnt asking for enough copies. The first two times I wrote them for a quote, and they just printed the jobs without giving me a quote or telling me the pricing. The third time they printed the project wrong. I have no clue why theyre so messed up here. I wish they were a consistently good service print shop, because we need one in the West End. But alas, Ive never gotten even satisfactory service. Buyer beware.
