Just had a bunch of work done to my truck. Carlos is a great and honest mechanic. Marie (service mgr) is a pleasure to talk to. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and was VERY helpful as to what parts I needed and what the cost would be. She is very knowledgeable and does her job VERY well. As long as Carlos is the mechanic here and Marie is the service manager I will continue to bring my vehicles here. Thanks for the great service as well as the great customer service!!! Took my truck in for tire rotation and oil change. The tech used an impact wrench to tighten my lug nuts and ended up cracking the key (non impact). The tech was really nice, however there was no effort by management to reimburse me for having to buy new lug nuts and key. I bought new lug nuts because the tech said the impact wrench was slipping. I had to uber to auto zone and back with new lug nuts and key.

Your regular over priced and never open on time gas station. Seriously they never have fluid to wash your windows. The game pumps are pumping much slower then other gas stations. Lady inside has no customer service or respect, she’s always on the phone. Do no go to the place, I am tired of this!

If you need air in your tires just ask them and they will do it for free. GREAT CUSTUMER SERVICE!!!

Rip off! stopped for gas paid at pump was charged but nothing came out so I went inside and the lady refused to refund so I paid again but this time inside and went back out and same thing happened. I stopped “pumping” went inside and she refused to refund me full amount. I GOT NOTHING

This gas station is never open on time. I live around the corner and being a shell rewards member I try to use this station but their hours of operation never match what is posted! I’ve tried to stop there multiple times in the morning and it’s always closed. Doesn’t make sense. I’m finally writing a review because it’s 8:40 am on a Sunday and they are closed. They post that they open at 7:00am. Pumps are shut down and door is locked.

My newly adopted rescue escaped from my family to look for me after I stepped away to take a work call, and he ran into oncoming traffic to chase her down for several blocks - not an easy feat because she is very fast and fearful of men! The air pump is out of order

My car battery died in their parking lot and no one else was around. I tried to get assistance from the man in the store 15 minutes before they opened and he rudely kept pointing to the sign that says they aren’t open and refused to help me. Definitely won’t be coming here again if that’s how they treat stranded disabled women in 34 degree weather.

What a rip off. Plenty of other garages in this city that provide such better service plus they dont lie to you like this one does. Dont waste your time here.

Great management and attention to detail. The staff went out of their way to ensure my 15 year old car was operating properly after discovering several problems. I have been going to this shop since it was taken over by the new manager, Charlie, and will definitely continue going for all my future needs!

Great location with diesel and good prices. Be sure to check GetUpside, as they’re a participating station. Only drawback is that they shut off the pumps late at night.

Last night, I returned to Reagan National Airport from a trip to see the total solar eclipse (awesome, by the way). I had left my car at the Sheraton Suites garage in old town Alexandria, and I made the unfortunate discovery that one of my tires had picked up a nail and was flat. I tried to change it, but after removing the lug nuts and jacking it up, the tire would not budge. I enlisted the support of the building engineer, who applied WD-40, but still no dice. So, I took a cab home at 11 PM. Fortunately, the cab driver recommended that I call this service station in the morning. When I did, Charlie informed me that his team normally does not do road repairs, but since my car was only a block away and I already had it jacked up, he would make an exception. I stopped by the station around 1:30 today, and Charlie immediately found a mechanic to walk with me to the hotel garage, where he promptly loosened the tire with a well-placed kick with his boot to the top of the tire. He then removed it, put on the temporary spare, and we drove to the station. Charlie informed me that the only charge would be for plugging the tire ($20) or patching it ($45), and reinstalling it. I chose the patch, and was out of there by 2:30. Highly recommended!

Dropped in for my state inspection. The mechanics were all incredibly nice and polite! They were very quick, too. It was the most convenient and least-stressful inspection Ive ever done.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them for any service needs, and Ill definitely be returning. It was really refreshing to find such friendly and professional shop.

Ive taken my car to Charlie and the crew there for a few different jobs that I couldnt do myself. As someone who has been working on cars/motorcycles for 20 years, its easy to spot when a shop recommends work that doesnt necessarily need to be done, or when youre getting upsold. You wont find any of that here. Charlie and his team are top notch with their work and very upstanding with their professionalism and honesty. I will take my vehicles to these guys without any hesitation as long as I work in Old Town.

Bad service and attitude for the guy working at the cashier. I won’t come back to this Shell for gas anymore.

Charlie is friendly and the type of mechanic that those of us that are less car savvy like to deal with. He will shoot you straight on what you do and dont need to do. I will be back!

Bad costumer service, they need to put new nozzle they are very bad the gas spill all in my car in my shoes I went inside to tell them what happen the guy didn’t do anything he was very rude, no paper towels no water need more attention definitely not going there anymore 👎🏻.

Saturday July 19th 2014. I stopped in at olde town car care because my 2008 BMW 335 XI it said it was overheating. He took a look at it but didnt have the right tools to figure out what exactly was causing it. He spent a couple hours looking at it and didnt charge me anything for his time. Seems like a very strand up guy. I will use him when I can from now on.

New management. They also offer state & emission inspections.

Nice to find an honest mechanic in town. Repaired tire in 10 minutes for me.

Great price for premium gas. Lower than other Shell stations in Alexandria.

Rarely open on time. Got here by 6am, to avoid morning Rush, sit until 7am and still no one around. Would go else where but this station is usually 25-35 cents less than any other location.

Terrible Customer service!This is one of the most unhelpful customer service ever!I wish your business die soon and you will never deal with customers again.
