I liked this spot. Its very relax and you can choose tables outdoor or indoor.The barista make delicious coffe and cakes too. The best time to come here is in the mornings.There have two small rack for your bike.I really recommend it!

The best coffee spot in Old Town. They have a great selection of drinks, the food is very good, the owner is super friendly and polite, they also offer beer; wine; juice; etc, they are doing a good job of keeping their customers safe during covid, the shop is very well maintained and nice inside, the prices are very reasonable, they sell honey, and they sell bags of coffee. I’ve never had a bad experience at Abyssinia and it’s my go to place when I want some coffee made by someone who actually knows what they’re doing (unlike me lol). I highly recommend stopping in.

Abyssinia Market and Coffee House is an inviting market and cafe in Alexandria near the Contrabands & Freedmen Cemetery Memorial. Its around the corner from the main street, but worth a visit.There are tables outside, but everything is to-go during the pandemic. They sell wine and other goods as well as sandwiches, breakfast items and coffee orders.I stopped in for a breakfast latte and hazelnut croissant and was not disappointed. Solid coffee and croissant.The owner is very kind and inviting!

The owners are wonderful people and make amazing lattes. They have the best medium roast, dont hesitate to buy a bag, because it will be gone asap! Ive been lucky a few times and cannot go back to regular coffee. It has a low acidity and full of bold flavor, think Kona but with a different flavor context.The pastries are tasty and are a must when you visit. Try the star anise biscotti!

Great Coffee. The pastries here are superb. However, there is usually a limited quantity so come early and with an open mind to try something new. I especially like the crossaints but other treats were also delicious. Okay, about the crossaints. They are really crazy good. Flaky but soft. Buttery but not greasy.Service is always kind and helpful. Its a great local business.

I absolutely love the coffee here! Ive never had a bad cup. The espresso drinks in particular are delightful, never burned, and really expertly made. Although I dont live in Alexandria, I make it a point to come daily while Im visiting. Very cute little market with interesting sodas, drinks, and snacks as well. Definitely worth a visit!

This lovely shop serves the best tasting coffee anywhere in the area. Baked goods are very nice too, but you should really focus on the incredible coffee at least once before eating anything. The owners are incredibly gracious and friendly.
