Great place, its really important to communicate with them because I have brought in so many different types of shoes, bags and such. Each time they try to find the best way to fix it!

Was really pleased with the repair done on my dress shoes.My favorite pair of dress shoes were very worn, and one had a hole on the sole. These were the shoes I got married in, so they carried sentimental value (hence not just purchasing a new pair). The price of the repair was not cheap, but I would say it was very fair. Had the soles and heals replaced on both shoes. The new parts are clearly made of good material and were thicker than the original. Plus, they polished the shoes. They now look brand new!Very pleased with the services provided. Plus, Ricardo was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Used to be great but appears to be under new management. Dropped 2 pairs off last week - 1 for simple fixes that would take 5 days, and 1 for more extensive dyeing that would need 8 days for the leather to dry, etc. Went to pick up the first pair after the time they were promised and they hadnt been started (after waiting 10 minutes for him to even discover where they were hiding). Also discovered that the pair that required all sorts of drying time hadnt been started, so either he lied about the amount of work required or they would also not be done at the promised time. Ended up taking back the shoes with nothing fixed, and now I have to find a new cobbler. Extremely disappointed at the change in service.

This store has amazing quality and is affordable. I have had 3 pairs of shoes fixed. All cost from $6-20 each. And if I didnt think the shoe fit well, Alexandria Shoe Repair redid the work for free.Thank you for incredible service and the dog treats!

Jose does amazing work! I was worried about trusting him with my shoe repairs given some of these reviews on Yelp, but I decided to try his shop out. I waited till my second shoe repair job was complete before writing this review. I am happy to report that I am over the moon pleased with how Jose has repaired my shoes. For my first repair job, I dropped off three pairs of black suede shoes that needed to be darkened as they had faded. One of those pair needed new heels put on and tips in the front. I also had him replace the heels on a pair of navy suede shoes. He did all of the work excellently. One pair he even came up with a custom fix after I told him every time I took my shoes to another repair place I would wear them three times and need the heels replaced again. He drilled the shoe to put a more reliable heel replacement in. Ive noticed the difference since he did that custom fix for those heels. They havent worn down as quickly. For my second shoe repair job, I dropped off a pair of Fendi boots (black and burgundy) that needed a good shine and some color updates on the leather part of the heel that was scuffed. I also dropped off a pair of tan pumps that needed to be polished since they were scuffed. Jose did an AMAZING job with the color match. He really has an eye for color. I took these boots and heels to the place close to my office, but one of the workers said he couldnt do a color match for either the boots or the heels since the shoe polish didnt come in the exact color. I asked that guy if he could mix the colors to get the custom color and he said no. The benefit with taking shoes to Jose is that he doesnt respond with a reason why he cant do something, he tries to figure out how he can do what youre requesting and responds with his proposed solution for addressing the particular issues(s). He is eager to please the customer and get the job done excellently. Its clear to me from my interactions with him that he takes pride in providing good service. I will continue giving him my business!!!

We had an emergency repair to my daughters softball glove and Barbara was absolutely fantastic! She re-laced the top lace on the glove and my daughter couldnt even tell the difference! They are kind, a pleasure to work with, and do EXCELLENT work. What more could ANYONE want????

Have been a customer for 2-3 years. Always pleased with their work and the ability to have shoes shined and get them back same day.However, dropped two pair of shoes off on a Monday and was told I couldn’t pick them up until Friday. Found out Wednesday evening that my husband had to travel early Friday morning and needed one pair of the shoes I had dropped off. Today, Thursday morning, when they opened I went in and explained my problem and asked if it would be possible to pick up just one pair of the shoes by closing time.Clerk explained that they wouldn’t be ready until Friday evening. I said I understood but due to a last minute business trip could I possibly get them back this evening. He said no, if I wanted them today I should have brought them in yesterday or this morning. I don’t understand why I can bring shoes in Wednesday or Thursday and get them back Thursday, but shoes I brought in Monday won’t be ready until Friday.Very disappointed that he couldn’t explain and also wasn’t interested in trying to help.

I took a pair of Frye boots here to get resoled that Frye said could not be resoled. They did an amazing job and put even better bottoms on them than the originals. I highly recommend this shop.

Fast, efficient and quality is what I would describe the service as. Saved me from throwing away some very good shoes so I can get some additional mileage out of them for the next upcoming years. I would highly recommend to anyone!

If I could give this store less than 1 star, I would - mostly for their abysmal customer service. I have been taking my Louboutins here for several months (often 2-3 pairs per month) to get sole protectors + replacement heel tips applied. Because the heels on my shoes are so narrow, I provide the store with heel tips that come directly from the manufacturer and are made to fit my shoes. The last time I dropped off a pair of shoes- I got a call and was told my heel tips (which are come directly from the Christian Louboutin manufacturer) didnt fit my shoes - and the store would have to charge me extra for replacement tips of their own brand. I brought in several extra heel tips I had from Louboutin, after which the owner told me they could no longer accept these going forward and had to use their own product because it fit better and they were losing money by accepting my manufacturer tips. Seriously??? Way to nickel and dime customers who are paying them high dollar on a regular basis to maintain very expensive shoes. I will absolutely NEVER go back to this store again and would not recommend it to anyone.

My silly dog chewed right through the leather strap of a brand new pair of Vince Camuto sandals. I brought them in on a Tuesday and was told I could pick them up on Friday. I asked if the shoe could be fixed by Thursday and my request was met. I picked up my sandals on Thursday evening and I was beyond pleased with the work. The strap has an obvious repair but it looks great, especially considering the damage caused by my dog. The price was very fair as well. I will definitely make this my go to place for shoe repair.

Recently moved to the area and went to this place to get a pair of Gucci heels touched up (reattach the black part of the heel and to touch up the color on the heel). They tried to upsell another service but as it was already coming out to be $40+, so I declined. Picked up the shoes in a week, put them on at work and immediately noticed that one of the heels felt wobbly. It definitely didnt feel this way when I dropped them off so I made a mental note to go back to the place. Well the heel actually fell off within an hour of me wearing the shoes indoors. When I returned to the store and politely explained my predicament, they told me that they could fix them but would have to charge me for it. They supposedly would have noticed if the shoes were wobbly when they gave them back to me. I tried to reason with them about the amount of time I had them (a week), being an average sized woman, etc. but the owner refused to fix this issue and claimed that the shoes were just defective. Ive been wearing these shoes for over two years with no issues until this place got their hands on it. In short, STAY AWAY!

Been getting my shoes repaired here for years. It’s now under new management and the new owner is rude, unprofessional & very expensive at that. Guess I have to find a new place now 😞

I recently took in a tote bag with a torn handle. They repaired it so beautifully, I cant even tell which handle was torn.
