Customer service was complete garbage. I ordered a pizza. After an hour i had to call them. Then they called me back to tell me they dont have a driver after i waited an hour. Why didnt they simply call me once I submitted my order to tell me that they cant deliver. Such a waste of my time!Will no longer be using them going forward. Plenty of other pizza options around.

First time ordering a prosciutto pizza was AMAZING. So tasty and delivered super fast!!Second time, I ordered a quick chicken fingers with buffalo sauce but when they came they were oddly breaded chicken strips with no sauce. If Im honest they almost tasted like breaded eggplant?This place is great for a little more upscale pizza/really good Italian dishes. This is NOT the place you order quick wings and fingers from when looking for deep fried goodness when moving/watching a game.

First getting here to pick up my order, no one is working at the front, waited 20mins just to get my pizzas. I get the prosciutto pizza from here and this time I got it, they didn’t put the greens on so I went back to ask them to fix it, they chopped up lettuce and put them on top which is not what has ever been on there. I’m not sure what’s going on but this location is not doing well and I’m incredibly mad and disappointed since I got out of my way quite a bit just to get this pizza. I wish there was a way to talk to the owners since no one seems to be working there and the people that are could do better customer service. I won’t be back.

Taste great. Very selective food items but they know what people like to eat.easy to locate the restaurant you will find the good space for parking too on the road if you are just gonna pick your food. You can also pay for parking if you plan to sit in there and eat.

Their products have definitely improved since my first review, and you can tell the staff cares about providing good service! Weve never stopping ordering from here, but a few years ago the service was a bit disappointing. ALL THAT HAS CHANGED and the wheels are back on the bus! A great addition to the Del Ray dining experience!

Excellent pizza, recently got the chicken panini for the second time cause the first time was great and it was just a frozen chicken patty heated up. Very disappointing.

The price is not justified. The $7 salad is as small as my palm, the $17 pizza is TINY and flavorless. Calzone was great but overall I would expect prices to be 1/2 of what they are. I had to add two spices and two sauces to the margarita pizza for the tiniest bit of flavor. Ordered through ‘slice’ and my special instructions to exclude a salad toping wasn’t followed.

I was trying to make a late night order since I got off of work late and I live right by the side of this place I had called them 30 minutes before closing but no one would answer the phone. I even walked to the place and the door was locked and the employees decided to not answer the door or phone for some reason. I understand that sometimes people want to get off early but at least tend to your customers when they are trying to support a local business instead of ignoring them

This place was really nice, they made the taste that I was looking for, the restaurant is clean and organized and the owner was kind with both customers and his team. Definitely will order again.

First time patron and I recently ordered a Spinach Ravioli meal to explore the menu outside of pizza and it was about a 8/10. The dish wasnt overly cheesy, but the marinara was slightly salty. I would not slam a negative on the overall taste because I was satisfied. The ravioli was tasteful. Portion size was decent, but I felt it was smaller than expected. I will revisit to explore a pizza option and Ill revise this post on my second meal experience. Id certainly say give this business a try.

Ive tried all the pizzas in the old town area and Id thought to venture out and try something new. I ordered the prosciutto pizza and quite frankly it was disappointing. The prosciutto was cut up into small pieces and pretty much looked like bacon on the pizza. Cant get the proper taste when its cut up that way. Good thing I added sausage to it because that made it a bit better. In addition, there was very minimal cheese, almost none whatsoever. If Im paying $25 for a large pizza I expect better.

You can Google “Best pizza in Alexandria” and get endless lists of pretentious chains and nonsense. If you want consistently well-prepared thin crust, sweet sauce pizza with quality ingredients and excellent flavor, go here. Friendly customer service doesn’t hurt either. Our favorite is pepperoni, banana peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. Been visiting at least 3 times a month since Spring 2020 and couldn’t be happier that we found our go-to spot.

This place is great. We recently moved nearby and its been our go to take away spot as we sort out unpacking our stuff. Highly recommend the pizza, sandwiches, salads. Generous portions good for sharing. Also, beers are cheap as you are waiting for pickup.

Normally when I order delivery from Sicilian Pizza on the online site I use it is from that one on Walter Reed Dr which is only 2 miles away but somehow always takes an hour or more to get to me. But they have good food. This time the site had the Sicilian Pizza on Mt. Vermom. I figured same chain so I ordered ahead of time and I ordered something I was craving. Chocolate cake. I added fries and tea to the order to make sure it was the minimum price needed to order something and sat down to wait. I was surprised - as a place 3 miles away only took 45 minutes to get to me. The tea was cold. Good. The fries were not burnt but they were also cold. Not good. And the five dollar chocolate cake was about a third of the size it normally was from ANY OTHER PLACE I HAVE EVER ORDERED CAKE FROM. Most places have to squeeze the slice into the plastic container and get frosting all over the place. Not here. Wow. I almost had as much ketch-up packages tossed in with my fries than I had cake. On top of that it did not look like cake - more like some kind pie or custard hybrid.Looks like I will be ordering Chinese from now on.Never going to order from this place again.Update - Today I finally got a reply to my review. As you can see they told me they were under new ownership and asked me to try their restaurant again. So I did - the VERY same day of their reply. Went online onto Byeondmenu and ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap with Cheese Cake. Total $23.65 - wow thats kind of high. I get a email telling my order went through...but then got a phone call directly from Sicilian Pizza. Their driver wont be in till 5 PM. I told them to cancel - which was easy for them because they had not bothered to put it in before calling me. Wow. So..rating will not be changed.

Enjoyed our first pizza (thin crust) and found their dough was best we have had in NoVa. As pizza lovers who prefer more through-cooked crust, the accommodate! Ingredients were excellent - roasted garlic, mushrooms, peppers and black olives. Offered four different sauces. We went with roasted red pepper. Only suggestion would be to add a bit more sauce on standard orders. Also we ordered online.

Good food with great service. We ordered a gyro, fries, and wings that we found out were baked and not fried, which was a very pleasant surprise! The fries are spicy, which is a nice touch. Extremely kind and attentive service from their team. Only giving them a 4 instead of 5 because the pizza, which we’ve ordered in the past, is average for the value.

Gluten free pizza was expensive but good. Small gluten free + 2 liter for 21.

Love the pizza here. Especially margarita pizza. We ordered a large one and the man was it delicious! They have a nice selection of wine and beer. So make sure u guys go there on empty stomach. Highly recommended

The pizza was good great but the only thing that was bad was the customer service..The cashier guy (Kaan) at the front had a don’t care attitude when asking him questions of the food..that’s not good especially when I am visiting from out of town..

After not getting my order delivered I called the restaurant and of course was a system error, I tried to explain the manager that I had been charged and what I got was been called a hacker and that he didnt give a F of what I was trying to explain. He wouldnt listen nor help to fix the issue. Its sad that we are trying trying to support local businesses but thats what we got when you are asking for a simple help.

That was a delicious pizza. Had a pizza and it came right from the oven. Nice and fresh, hot. They were busy Saturday and took a while to have the food in front of me but worth the wait. Had a beer as well so I was like the king. lol. Definitely coming back here.

We had a large veggie pizza from here and it was DELICIOUS! I think they`re under new management and they changed inside quite a bit. Now u can sit and eat. Kinda cool vibe. We had to wait long time though so if you are in rush this is not your typical pizza store. But it was worth the wait. Will order soon again!

Quality of pizza and ambience dropped significantly since our last visit one month ago. Not sure if they lost their pizza maker in the interim, but wow... what a downturn..It tasted and looked like Dominos. Finally. the lights were turned so bright, it lost its cool ambience.The only saving grace tonight was Jay, the cashier.

I used to live right next door to this place when it opened. I remember the pizza being very good.I just went there again tonight because I was back in the neighborhood.......the pizza they gave me was terrible!!! It must have been an old pizza that was sitting around. I arrived early expecting to have to wait but surprisingly, it was ready. It wasn’t even hot. They gave me a cold, and probably old, pizza. I can’t even eat it. It was $18 for a 14 inch old pizza. I’ll never go back there. There was hardly even any cheese on it either. I wish I could post a photo. It didn’t look appetizing at all! I shoulda checked it before I left Del Ray. Don’t go here!

Great pizza! It`s been so long since I had a tasty pizza like this. I tried all Del Ray neighborhood pizzerias but this pizza is definitely the most delicious pizza. This is gonna be my pizza stop now. Yeaayy!

We just had our first delivery order and it was wonderful - easy to order and the pizza even arrived a little earlier than expected. We got the vegetariano and it was exactly what the doctor ordered! Hot, flavorful mix of veggies with the right amount of sauce - and friendly service to boot! We will definitely be trying more!

The pizza is very tasty. The first one we got via delivery looked like it had been carried like a book. The toppings were all on one side, leaving the other side bare. However, after a quick call to the shop, they made it right and sent a new pizza to the house. The second one that came was pristine and tasted great. Well definitely order from them again.

Never, never order from them. I was told a pizza would be delivered in 30 minutes. It took 65 minutes and it was cold. I also when ordering said I had only a $50 bill, but the driver didnt have change and shortchanged me an extra $5 after the tipA day has passed and they havent offered to return the money. So is it fair to call them fraud artists?

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would do so. First problem is that their app charges you more than it’s supposed to for your order. If you call, they tell you that it’s because they have to make money because the app costs them too much. They give you “better prices” when you call. Ok, so order in. I’m told it will be at my house in 30 mins— we live less than a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. One hour later, we call to check on the order and it has not yet been made. Manager REFUSED to speak to me. Now one hour and 20 minutes and still no pizza and ZERO customer service. Pizza eventually arrived and to their credit, it was good. The manager, David, later called and asked me to revise my online review and when I declined, he started using vulgarities. Classy.UPDATE: The restaurant’s response is a complete fantasy. I don’t have an imagination creative enough to make up this waste of a time delivery problem.

Hate to say this pizza was the worst pizza Ive ever has. Not sure if this was a bad day for this restaurant but, not a good first impression. My pizza looks nothing like the pictures and tastes like dry cardboard. The wings were even worse. However, the staff was very friendly. Just so disappointed.

The staff was wonderful and polite, we dined in and the pizza came out hot and stayed hot the entire time we ate! It’s such a cozy little spot to dine in ... I will definitely be returning here soon

While the food is good, watch your bill. I was nickel and dimed for a 10% premium on my bill. First, the calzone was a different price for the eat in VA take out, then an additional charge for each ingredient even though the favorite is supposed to include 3 toppings, and then the kicker of a credit charge surcharge that mysteriously was tacked on. I dont mind paying for good food, but when a $50 bill turns into a $60 bill, that just leaves a sour taste not matter how good the food might be. I for sure wont be returning which is a shame since its in the neighborhood.

The man refused me service because I have a service dog. Demanded an ID card, which is illegal, wouldn’t listen to what the law actually was and questioned that I was disabled because in less than 5 minutes of interaction he couldn’t see what my disability is. He didn’t know what the ADA was or that service dogs are governed by national and not city laws. And he would not listen, wouldn’t read the ADA information that I gave him and wouldn’t do anything except reinforce that I wasn’t allowed in his restaurant.

I heard about Sicilian Pizza from a friend and he gave us the number. The lady and I didnt feel like cooking so we ordered a pizza to be delivered.I asked the person taking our order which pizza was they most popular and he said the Sicilian was their most ordered pizza, so we ordered that.It took an hour to get to us, which in my opinion was ridiculous, however, the pizza was still warm.I have to say that it was delicious. The crust was thin and the tomato sauce was authentic. It had a bit of basil and because it wasnt too hot when it got delivered, we ate it right off the bat no problem.Will for sure be ordering from them again.
