While vacationing over 4th of July holiday my husband took our kids here to spend the money given to them by their grandparents. They were told by an associate they had to have a mask. I was shopping elsewhere and had my children’s mask. My husband did have his but not the kids. The shop did not have any to provide. My husband walked our kids all the way back to our air bnb..got the mask..and walked back ..only to find the shop had closed early. There was no warning and no storefront signage saying so. My kids were devastated and heartbroken and we were very frustrated. If you require masks please provide them. If you close early put up signage or at least tell customers you send away that you know are coming back. I do not recommend this store.
Pink & Brown has a top notch, well-cultivated collection of independent artisans’ creations for children as well as beautiful European toys. Their clothes are also high quality and have whimsical colors and patterns. I’m lucky to be able to shop here and support this wonderful local business and business owner!

Very big fan of Pink and Brown. In addition to being an amazing store filled with clothing, toys and treasures, the owner has the BEST selection of books. Im realizing now that our favorite books (our kids are 5,4 and 2.5) have all come from Pink and Brown. The owner chooses unique and engaging books that we love.
Really neat shop for children/babies whether its for your own kid or gift (my case). A lot of things you cant find at other stores very unique. Staff Was really helpful and knowledgeable about the products . They helped me pick the perfect gift.
I am so happy I discovered this adorable little shop! I was looking for some unique dresses for my best friends little sisters and I found the cutest dresses for them (and theyre organic!) which they absolutely loved. The sales associates were more than helpful in finding something in my price range, and they had me packed up and ready to go in fifteen minutes! I will definitely be stopping by for future presents. I highly recommend shopping here.
Hands down, my favorite childrens clothing store. This is where I go for every baby gift, birthday gift, and Christmas gift for friends and family as well as where I shop for my own children. The clothing is stylish, unique, and well-made. The service is knowledgeable and friendly. And the owner is always on top of having interesting and cutting edge new items for babies and parents especially when you are looking for a safe and natural experience when raising your children. Love it!

Im a huge fan of the clothes and toys at Pink & Brown--theres always at least one piece that I fall in love with for my kids! Ive been shopping at this location since they opened, and I must say that they have some of the best service Ive experienced in the local DC metro area. The owner and sales people know their products, but they also seem to have a great eye for styles.This is one of the first places that I stop by when Im in Old Town Alexandria!
