This is the best mechanic place have been so far. Their service is always on point 💯 and exceptional. They will explain in details to you what is wrong with your car and have it fixed immediately and they don’t charge unnecessarily. Kudos to all the workers there especially Omar. Ive been in the Alexandria VA areas for over 10 years now. I have constantly been looking for a car mechanic that I feel comfortable with and I recently found that with R&G. They just seem to be very honest and do excellent work. Even thought its a little bit out of the way for me it is worth it by far. I am so happy I found these guys and HIGHLY recommend them to anybody looking for a good auto shop.

Ive been taking my car to them for the past 10 years and from day one the service has been amazing. They are great with their customers and really care about what they are doing. They will take their time to explain whats going on with your car and never cheat you on the price. I went to dealership once to get my car fixed and took it right back to R & G auto because I could tell something was off. Omar and Koshi were able to tell me exactly what the dealership tried to do to charge me more money. They then fixed it promptly and also told me what to watch out for because they have seen cars like mine before. This was extremely helpful because then I could plan my car expenses which saves me in the long run.I refer everyone I know to this place because I know they will be taken care of. If youre looking for a place to take your car when the engine light is on, take it here! My 2007 Honda Civic runs great because of the care and maintenance this shop has done for it. I would honestly give this place 10 stars if I could!

I live almost a half hour away from these guy and probably pass 100 auto repair shops on my way to their shop but it’s worth it because theyre reliable, knowledgable and honest. Alex holds down the front while two or three great mechanics work on the vehicles. Together, they make an awesome team. If you’re looking for an auto repair shop, go with these guys because they do not disappoint.

They give good explanations of what may be wrong with your car and prioritize what needs to be fixed first to help you make affordable decisions. Most auto shops try to bleed you dry, especially if youre a woman.. but these guys are great, quick & efficient

Alex Omar Kashi and Ahmed are some of the best mechanics Ive ever used. I brought my vehicle in for one issue and they alerted me to 3 other things that were wrong and worked with me on a very good price. Now my vehicle is running the best its ran in over 6 years and all the credit goes to them. Brought my car in because I noticed something odd with my wheels after a rotation done elsewhere. These folks figured out that one of the wheels was loose and another was missing a lug nut. They checked the other tires, re-torqued where necessary, and replaced the missing lug nut. They only charged me for the missing part. Very grateful for the generosity of these folks and for their honesty and generosity. I will recommend them to family and friends.

Great shop! They did my back brakes on my Lexus RX350 for a very good price. They told me I was going to need front brakes soon. I recently went to Pep Boys for an oil change and they told me I needed front brakes and offered to do them for $600. I politely declined and called R&G the next day. R&G did the front brakes for the same price they charged for the back brakes, rotors and all. Ill never go anywhere else except R&G. Im recommending them to everyone I know whos looking for great service & fair-honest pricing.

We started bringing our cars into R&G recently and are very happy! They do appts and especially enjoy that they are open on Saturdays (sorry, know that means you have to work on the weekend!). They recently changed my oil and noticed my brakes needed changing, but not right away--they did not say oh, have to do it today! They said could wait for a while, giving me time to plan another visit.

The best auto repair place! They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. They are not trying to over charge you or recommend things you don’t need. I recently came in to get a mysterious noise checked out. Turned out to be a simple fix and they took care of it quickly and did not charge me anything. I won’t bring my car anywhere else now. Based upon past reviews and their estimated cost we used R&G to replace the timing belt on our 2006 Solara. The work was done as scheduled and within the estimate. We appreciated the quality of the service and the attention to customer care. For example, we were shown all the old parts which we appreciate. We have had no trouble at all with the work they performed. Highly recommend them.

These guys were great. I showed up complaining of a noise that my car was making. When they found out it was just a piece of the undercarriage that was loose and needed to be screwed back in, they took care of it no charge.

Ive been going to R&G for years. Even after moving to Woodbridge, I still take my car there because theyre good. This shop is fair and honest. They do great work and are very knowledgeable. I recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

The team that works here are by far the best mechanics in the whole metropolitan area. They make sure to take their time to do the job correct the first time, so if you drop your car off, do not be upset if theyre a little delayed with getting your car back, trust me its worth it, especially with how much cheaper prices are, than from the dealership. Theyre very communicative and they will diagnose your car to see if theres any other major problems and they will go over it with you. The guys here arent here to push sales neither, theyre all about the safety of you and your vehicle. They will let you know if they find something, how serious it is or if it can wait and isnt very important to do right away.I dropped of my 20 year old car here for a complete maintenance overhaul and when I left, it felt like I was in a brand new car, they do amazing and fantastic work here. They definitely do honest and meaningful work. Im going to be a lifetime customer here for as long as this shop is here.

Ive taken my car to R & G Auto repair multiple times and always refer them to friends and family because of the great customer services, their honesty when assessing my cars issues, fast work and quality labor. My car spent two years of sitting in a garage and wasnt running very well from the lack of usage but I found R & G Auto repair and they brought my car back to life.

R&G is the only place my wife and I will take our vehicles. The service is OUTSTANDING!. I was treated like an old friend and everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. We are new to the area and are fortunate to have found them.

Had my car towed here at USAAs recommendation when it wouldnt start. They communicated everything with me and after jumping the battery did some testing to determine nothing needed to be fixed so they didnt charge me.
