I had a bad shopping experience here. I came in to buy the GV 70. The sales guy treated me like I couldn’t afford the one I test drove. He lied and said someone was buying it ( to pressure me) and was overall not helpful at all. I wasn’t comfortable enough to make a decision that day so I left and contacted the sales rep later. See photo below of how he responded. I called the dealership to get someone else to help me and I basically got the “run around”. More lying and dishonesty.I don’t want to speculate about why this happened to me but I did notice that when I first arrive, my companion and I struggled to get help in the first place. We felt very invisible. I suggest that my black sisters and brothers do not do business here.I end up buying the GV70 the next week, but at the Woodbridge location. The staff was easier to work with and more professional. The office there was also less busy and I had no problem getting customer service.

Dan and Luis were great to work with. No pressure, no haggle service made my Genesis buying experience fast and easy. Highly recommend this locally owned Dealership.

From start to the finish Dan Heo, the salesperson helped me with the documentation for the purchase/documentation. Once at the dealer, it was a breeze. The finance manager, Mr Cooley, was very courteous and prompt. All the paperwork was completed in half an hour. I had the formalities at dealer for the GV80 done in less than an hour and was driving home. Very pleasant experience ! Will definitely shop at the dealer again, even though it is a 2 hour drive for me. Very impressed with the sales person.

We just purchased a Genesis G80 and love the car. The dealership is friendly, knowledgeable and no pressure sales here. The only thing better than the purchase is the service department. Our first routine servicing was flawless, with them picking up the car, leaving a loaner, and then bringing the car back. It doesnt get any. easier.

Got car towed for service here at night. Called in the morning to confirm they have the car and where able to order tire. Service advisor and employees kept saying they could not locate the car, and will call back when they walk the lot to find it. Spent 2 days calling to see if they could find the car, and they would either hang up or say the service manager would call back. Finally got ahold of the service manager and said that they could not call because they where too busy. 0/10 customer service.

I had a couple of recall notices on my 2018 G80. Yessenia Garcia reached out to me and scheduled the pickup of my car. An employee (cant remember his name but he was exceptionally friendly) came to my house and took my car for the work that was needed. He returned a few hours later after the work was done. This was amazing service. Keep up the great work.

I wish I could give them a zero!!! My sister and I drove 4.5hrs to this dealership for a vehicle she saw online. We spoke with the manager and sales person to let them know we have a long trip there and would like to have everything ready to sign and drive back home. Being a salesperson myself I knew it would take at least 45 mins to complete everything. We talked to the salesperson on the way (exactly 1.5hr from the dealership) to let them know we will arrive soon and can he assure everything is ready to finalize the deal. My sister agreed on the numbers and financing options for the car. We have the down payment and all. We even did all the insurance information (paperwork) and forwarded it to the dealership for the dealer packet. We arrive to the dealership and the car wasn’t not ready for delivery. Then he tells us it is an 1-2hr wait before going in to see the finance manager. On top of the paperwork not complete as well. I asked to speak to the manager and his attitude was horrible. He even blamed COVID-19 for not being prepared after he stated that he had 3 business managers and how much he had been selling the cars the past few months. Then he tried to explain I have customer who drove from Richmond, Va. We drove from North Carolina. I explained to him this is not what we do being in the industry of selling cars. Anytime we have a distant costumers we make accommodations for them. We ask for a 30-45 min window meaning the customer calls when they are that far out so we can ensure our business office is free and the car is delivery ready. I call cooperate and will send up an video of the experience. The worst experience ever!!!!!

Ronald Torres gave me an excellent service experience. I had bought a used 2017 Genesis Ultimate G90 V8 and I wanted to just have my vehicle checked and have my oil changed. They gave me a new Genesis G80 to drive to work that and when I came back in the morning to pay my bill they told me my vehicle was fine and that there would be no charge for my oil change. On top of that they cleaned my car without me having to ask. Fantastic service from Ronald, I am a District of Columbia resident and this is the only place I will take my vehicle. Being a 20+ year car salesman myself I appreciate excellent customer service.

Scheduled valet service for my Genesis. No one ever showed up. Calls to the dealership go unanswered and messages unreturned.

Genesis of Alexandria salesperson, Dan Heo, was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, I was disappointed that the dealership did not honor the quote from TrueCar for my trade-in. I felt that they were low balling me. Love my GV80 and would purchase again.

My review is for Genesis valet service. Yesenia has always been pleasant and efficient in setting up service appointments for me. I also have to give a shout out to the porter that always delivers my car, you can tell he takes pride in his job and treats your car as if it was his. I have had nothing but good experiences with this dealership and I look forward to working with them for my next lease or purchase.

Excellent experience! Was skeptical at first coming off of driving a Porsche. But Danny and Sam are the bomb!Patient, explained car options well and cut me a sweet deal on a new 2020 G70 3.3T.Definitely worth the visit if you are thinking about a luxury sedan!

The car was serviced, then washed. It was such a painless experience. That was what I remember from past service visit, and my memory served me well.

Once we settled on price we set an appointment to sign the papers and pick up the car. When we arrived at the dealership the car and the paperwork was ready. No games. No surprises. I contacted Genesis of Alexandria and told their salesperson Hugo that I would be in on Saturday to drive a few of their G70 sedans. Hugo was awesome. He had a great personality and wasnt about playing the games many car dealerships seem to play. I drove a few and picked the one I liked. Inside process was easy. Simple application, quick credit check, and it was basically done. Even the finance process was great with zero pressure and a few signatures. The sales manager Joon was very nice and also got involved in welcoming me.The only negative I can say (and Im being really picky here) is logistics of the dealership. They have some vehicles on the lot but 3 times as many in an off-site location. Overall 5 big stars. I love my new G70 and the buying process was second to none. I highly recommend giving Hugo a call if youre out to buy a Genesis.

I purchased a Genesis from this dealership and the salesperson, Moses, and the entire staff, including the finance manager, were reasonable, fair, honest and transparent, making the purchase stress free and enjoyable. They even went out of their way to secure a great financing rate for me. I would certainly purchase a car from them again. And the car? I love it! I chose it over a BMW and an Audi. Genesis are the best kept car secret around.

I had the pleasure to work with Joon and Brandon from this Genesis dealership. They were very helpful to work with and they did not constantly push for me to purchase a car like some of my previous experiences. I was very thankful for this. Icing on the cake was that the dealership and the personnel in the store were all very aware of the social distancing requirements that came with COVID precautions. I would not hesitate at all to recommend this tremendous experience to anyone else.

The sales part of this car buying process was very good. Not pushy and I experienced non of those annoying delay tactics found at other dealers. As I told GoA management it felt like I was buying a Genesis at a Hyundai dealership. Genesis is a luxury brand in competition with Lexus and others. Comparison would be walking into a 5 star vs 3 star hotel lobby. I know Genesis changed their mind recently and wants all Genesis dealerships to have their own facilities and I agree.The final walk through and again OK. The car was washed but not polished. The G90 has way too many features for anyone to sit and go through them all. I got the basics which was good for me. Reading the books works best for me. More emphasis should have been placed on internet info like bill paying, etc. I know my car has remote start but I dont know how to set that up yet. Recommend providing a handout of web sites and what they offer. Even forums. Overall good experience.

I was there today with my friend and apparently our natural hair and black coats made us invisible. I saw one salesman wrapping up with a couple and kindly walk back in the building. My friend went inside to use to the bathroom and she told me the employees acted as if she wasnt there. All customers, no matter what, should be treated equally. I will never do business there since my money doesnt look worthy of someones attention.

I purchase a 2021 Genesis G80 Prestige on 01/15/21. This is my 5th Genesis. I love during business with Genesis of Alexander. The staff is very professional and the team put customers first. Purchased a 2019 G70 Sport AWDI am in Richmond, VA and have been following the release of the G70 since it was first announced at the NYAS.With all the dealer roll-out issues...Genesis of Alexandria was the first dealer in VA to get cars.I was put in touch with Kevin the owner by a Genesis Executive to help locate a very specific trim I was after. I was in shock that my car was actually found at a N.E. Port.From there...things just sailed along. Kevin contacted me almost daily with progress reports right up until my G70 landed on their lot.To top it all off...they delivered the car to me in Richmond !!! Wait...actually thats not it...LOL. They actually took my old car as a trade without even seeing it. G70 came down...my trade-in went back.So between Kevin, Joon and my allocated salesperson (Chris Spillman)...my buying experience is the best of my entire car ownership span of 30 years.I could not have asked for a better team of Genesis Specialists to hand delivery my exact car.
