This is a great store for enthusiasts that usually has a great selection and is run by wonderful folks. It has a clear family feel to it. Its one of my favorite stops whenever I am nearby.

Sure Shot is the ONLY place I will ever buy a gun! I bought my first gun there this summer, and Michelle and Johnny were so helpful! The prices are also better than anywhere else I looked. Ask for Michelle or Johnny...although everyone there is fabulous!

Even with Mayor Woody at the helm of Good Ole AC and not manning the store I would say all is as it should be under such a careful eye both Alexander city and The Sure Shot are always spot on...

No luck with finding what I was looking for in ammo for shotgun. Nice store but short on supplies.

Great selection and great service, what more could you ask for? There are a pile of gun stores between where I live and Sure Shot and I drive right by every one of them time and time again because Woody and crew have earned my business and support.Congratulations Mr.Mayor!

Great place for your needs! Went there to pick up some items for my Birthday celebration (ammunition and targets) and they were the most friendly people I ever meet in a business!

They have a good selection of new long guns and handguns as well as a GREAT selection of used and collectable long guns and handguns. They also accept FFL transfers of used or new guns from other shops in other states for a very reasonable fee.

Nobody wanted to speak when we entered, looked around, or left. Not a polite, friendly, or helpful store... Gun selection was very small too. We literally drove for over an hour to go to this store... Wouldnt recommend this one.

First visit to Sure Shot in over 20 years...I was welcomed by smiling, happy and very knowledgeable people. All of my questions were answered and I left there feeling that those who work there really cared about me as a customer!!! Glad to see they are Closed on Sunday!

Sure shot has a very good inventory of all hunting supplies. Locally owned and operated by fine people. The owner is a Vertrain. I buy all my supplies here.

I have been trading with Woody for over 20 years he is a good man and he has a very good honest business I would recommend anybody to trade with him all kind of hunting equipment and a great selections of rifles and handguns and shotguns .

First gun I had aftermarket sights put on was given back to me with a huge scratch across the slide, completely unacceptable. Decided to give another chance on a completely different gun and this time had half the rear sight markings scratched off. There will not be a third time.
