They seem to be the only place that have all the groceries items when I order, so thats a plus. I havent been inside in almost 2 years though. I do curbside and never had a problem. I order online for items to be shipped. Not a big fan of local delivery, never makes it here always left somewhere else.
Walmart is Walmart... Its always nice to make new acquaintance. Even got a good job lead this time ✌️
Walmart is convenient having everything, good, clothes and what not all in one place. Other than that, its clean, the people are courteous and the parking isnt all that bad. The inventory lacks sometimes compared to a few years ago, but you cant really blame anyone for that, were at a strange crossroads so to speak. For inventory to really shine, you have to have a consistent customer demographic so the supply/demand can be accurate to what the people that shop there like. Since theres such a large difference in customers these days, its gotta be tough to please everyone.
Great Walmart!! Clean, Wider aisles it seems, ..organic, fresh, produce, large deli, meat, seafood and freezer sections. You can easily find things, very well organized and great clothing choices, not your average Walmart, I think..Easy check yourself out lanes and convenient location. This is my favorite Walmart out of three others in my range, of course its the furthest for me but I always find what I need here and prices are great and I always get a good parking spot! Large parking area.. In a shopping area with more shopping and eating options.
Not all items received from pickup. They dont answer the phone when you call. Been calling for 35 minutes (this time). It disconnects after 4 minutes. This is not the first time.
Have to bag own groceries spend half pay there will never go back Kroger for me
I mean, its Wal-Mart. You know what youre getting into, no major surprises. As someone who appreciates a shorter line and quicker checkout experience, self check-outs arent the fall of society some social media posts would have you believe. So bewar if scanning your own groceries is a deal-breaker: the dollars you spend have more effect than your facebook rants.
I went into Walmart because I needed a small verity of things. I needed a new watch and wallet. While I was there I thought I would get some toothpaste, cat food, cat litter and Halloween candy. Such a wide verity of things the best place to go was Walmart. It was busy but there was enough check outs open that things went pretty fast. I would definitely recommend going to Walmart.
Easy to find and ample parking. Good selection overall but sometimes things are briefly out of stock. Very nice pharmacy. The garden center crew are knowledgeable and helpful. Most staff wearing masks and are disinfecting surfaces between customers. Customer service is always polite and the people at the money center were very kind. Grocery selection is good including a large section of plant based meat replacements. Also produce is fresh and affordably priced.
I was able to find most of what I went there for. The coffee pods were a little sparse. It was very busy, but I was checked out fairly fast.
Of the 2 local Walmarts that we have, in my opinion, this is the better one. I drive past the newer one just because of this one having stocked shelves. Are there employees and things that get on my nerves while shopping, sure but where is there not anymore? It seems to be managed a lot better than the other and the employees actually seem to care a lot more about whos providing them a paycheck. They dont block the aisles when stocking shelves and usually when you dont know where something is at, an employee actually helps you find it. These are all pluses for me.What I dont like is the way they organize their products on the shelves. I understand that some things must be the way they are but its very difficult to locate something when its not where it should be. It would be extremely nice if they put their gluten-free stuff in an aisle to itself, especially seeing that its currently with all the flour. A good idea is to take note of how other grocery stores organize their shelves (Kroger). Their gluten-free items are clearly marked as such and they keep a huge space between major gluten products (flour) and other gluten-free products (rice-flour). Thats just an example.
Have about anything a person would want. Great service. Reasonable pricing.Negative: should have a dress code!! Nothing gross, actually comical sometimes!!
Would give 0 if could. Came to TIRE and of Course after waiting for people to come out of back then take down all my info DOESNT have a 255/70/16 in STOCK.Why dont u put up a BOARD SAYING What u have INSTEAD of WASTING my TIME.NOW HAVE TO LOAD MY KIDS UP And Go Somewhere Else!
Friendly workers. Good hours and clean
One of my favorite Walmarts to visit.Usually has everything I need or want in stock. Store is clean and workers are friendly and helpful.
I usually shop on line, because there are too few employees, bare shelvers and lanes to crowded with long lines, but this last time I shopped at Walmart it was better. I think Walmart listens to shoppers, because of the change this last time when I shopped at the Alcoa TN
This place has just about anything from hardware to groceries, everything but checkout cashiers. I have yet to go in and find a good selection of checkout cashiers. You will wait in line for several minutes. I mean several. I dont mind them having self check out for folks that want it, but to trying to force me to use self check out when I dont want to will backfire on them. I now shop at some of their competitors along the way to town and dont need to go on to Walmart. I pay a little more but I get customer service and a person to check me out. I will save the larger purchases that cost me more for a trip to Walmart and just wait the line. Its even worse now that they closed the entrance at the garden center again.
Im over no cashiers I dont want to work after shopping
It is so much more of a challenge shopping here since they took away the ability to check prices from the app. Now you have to locate an employee (which is a task in itself) and ask them to price check every item for you.
In and out very quick. Able to find everything I needed.
Closed at 10:45 pm, fifteen minutes before posted closing time. Only needed one quick item, but had to go to Food City instead. Not bad... I ended up doing more shopping and had a live friendly cashier thank me for my business at Food City. Come to think of it, the same thing happened last time I was forced to leave Walmart and finish my grocery list at Kroger for those more current items that Walmart doesnt stock. Who needs Walmart? Not me!
Without a doubt Walmart is one of the best places to shop....reasonable prices, good selection, polite employees, many convenient locations.
This Walmart is so slow about everything seems like they would rather talk to each other than do there job. I avoid this place even though I live 5 minutes away Id rather drive to another
Walmart is going down hill fast. All self checkouts are credit only. Why is Walmart the only business that has a change shortage. The shelves are never stocked but you can order most things online so the pandemic excuse is wearing really thin. I shop at several locations around the Knoxville and they all are the same. Ive been a loyal patron for decades but its my opinion they no longer care about their customers. Im thankful there are other options for my business.
Was a momentary phantasmagoricaly pre-pubescant laxidasical way of life
Today was at the Alcoa Hunters Crossing Walmart, which was a disappointment. We live close by so it is a convenient place to stop for household items when we make our grocery run.. Today I had several reasons for being disappointed. There were 3 employees at the pharmacy front entrance and it was not very busy. It is obvious I am wearing a mans shirt over a huge shoulder and arm restriction brace therefore may be in need of help. But get this, my husband is looking around for the electric carts. The one greeter is quick to ask each of us, as she holds the mask in her hand if we wanted one.She doesnt ask if we need help for my obvious physical problem..just the mask. Uh nope we are good. The other 2 employees are just standing, one was checking carts of customers leaving while the other is in the middle doing whatever...not sure, nether say a word. The only electric cart on this side of the store is plugged in with the seat covered in a plastic bag, obviously not available. Terry asks the 3 employees in general if there are any other electric carts available. The lady handing out masks says at the end of the store while the others say nothing. My husband proceeds to the other side and I wait. At the other he finds the same situation so he asks an employee who said that the there was not a working cart available at all as all the working ones were taken. As he returns to me a nice customer arrives and I get that cart. Thankfully. We have noticed before the electric cart area of the Hunters Crossing store often seems neglected by either not having cars, being not charged or the carts not working ( have signs on them). My husband needed one before and we have often helped customers in need secure carts.Seems this Walmart doesnt pay as much attention as they should tothe needs of the disabled customers or they would pay more attention to the carts AND their customer greeters be more caring AND helpful. And guess what? As we left and I am going across the street, my husband is just ahead of me and I am worried because the cart I have is slowing down drastically. I holler out to him that I may not make it. It gets slower and slower and just as I get to the back of the Highlander...whew. it stops all together.Terry put it in the cart place, which normally we would take it back to the store. I struggled across the parking lot, stressing. How often do you guys check the batteries? Really you need to something different. So disappointed!!
Food always great. Fast and efficient. Our waiter Zack was excellent.
Its a great location and for the most part they have everything in stock. They do an even better job when it comes to needing help finding an item! They go above and beyond here! I definitely recommend them if youre looking for a 1 stop shop or just need a few things!
Never have baskets and I dont wanna push a whole buggy for five items. But customer service is excellent.
Things were out of place but I understand being short staffed but man there is alot of ppl all the time there. But the main thing that upsets me is they have all kinds of customers in line and instead of opening up a new register everyone is just dividing into two lines smh
Best pizzas in town! I I alway enjoy dinner there ❣
Stood at the electronics counter looking for a $750 laptop for 10 minutes with employees standing 10 feet away ignoring me and having a completely unprofessional conversation out loud. Instead, I decided to lean beside the counter to read the box through the cage (keeping in mind not to go completely behind the counter) and within seconds some new guy comes over to try to call me out saying I can’t be behind the counter. I told him that if employees would actually help then I wouldn’t have to lean forward to see products. He goes on the blame me and say the worker is right there even though she had been ignoring me all along. I just walked out. Can’t speak for the rest of the store, but the electronics workers have absolutely no customer service skills and are completely rude. Reminded me of why I try to avoid this store at all costs.
Most of the management is very rude and definitely not helpful. Also if its even a little bit of a popular item you can count on it being sold out at this location
Love to shop there and especially all the ways to shop delivery and pick-up are great when you are too sick to go out.
Typical Walmart. Busy most days, out of or running low on alot of products since covid first reared its ugly head. Even harder to find employees customer service. As usual when you do strike gold and find someone that takes a moment to be friendly. They have no idea what/where you are talking about and usually just point you in a general direction just so you will leave them alone and not reveal their ignorance any longer. As long as you know what you want and they happen to have it and the self check out isnt backed out to Kingdom come,( Because there is very few cashiers ever working) then its a great place to shop.
Always got what you need at a decent
Very Clean well organized had everything I wanted probably the best that Ive been to in Knoxville area
Not a fan of Walmart, but this one is a mess. Very limited selection if any at all, the deli was wiped out almost two weeks after the Fourth of July holiday. The layout
Another Wally World adventure to remind me of why Im using Amazon more and more. I asked the greeter, on my way out, if it was intentional to only accept cards at all the self check out lanes. The only response was an annoyed suggestion to tell the folks at customer service. Enticing as standing in a third line for another condescending eye roll sounded I just went on home.
The management at the store is just awful, there is absolutely no customer service. They don’t answer phones, you can’t find anyone to help you, very disappointing.
Too many items were unavailable. Other than that all was weii. You need to do a better job updating the computer. When you order something you need it.
Slow in bakery. Cake roses crushed. Redone them for me but smeared. Box too short for cake. No cashiers. Had to go thru self check out. Drop prices if we have to be our own cashier.
Impressed that Walmart encourages mask wearing by offering free masks at the door. Unfortunately not all people used them thereby putting other people at risk.
Has very good deals at this time regarding summer wear and equipment.
Wait, is this place still open? On the rare occasion they are, it’s still better than finding a bullet proof body and going to the one on Magnolia.
Walmart is no longer a supercenter way too many empty shelves prices are the same as other retailers if not higher
I got the things on my list. Funny to see those who choose to use the self checkout lanes - I wonder if they realize how they are impacting Walmart employees jobs.
Walmart is walmart... not enough cashiers, and seems to be lacking some staff... but its clean, and otherwise the same. Expect to check yourself out [without a discount or employee benefits], or wait in a long line. They have a great selection. But weve been shopping elsewhere as much as possible. Too bad Aldis doesnt have a pharmacy.
Got a pick up order fast friendly and convenient.
I went to the Vision Center. The manager there was absolutely wonderful. My mother fell, her glasses were bent. I was panicking, she has some health issues. The manager, readjusted the glasses and mom could see. Thank you so much. Im sorry I cant remember her name. She was amazing!
Very helpful couldnt find radio I wanted at any of the walmarts and they had it and they had it and held it till I got there
Im not reviewing Walmart--the company is what it is.But comparing this store to other Walmarts, its one of the areas better locations. The parking lot is a little difficult to enter and leave. Inside the store is usually well stocked. The cashiers seem nicer than most.I live in Knoxville, and saving up for weekly or bi-weekly trips to this location is head-and shoulders a better option than struggling through any of the Knoxville Walmarts.
Nice cashiers semi fast service.
Just loved it. I got everything I needed. It was so clean. Helpful employees and give good service.
Walmart does not stock that many brand name items anymore, majority of the products are great value store brand.(Which in some cases is ok-ish, but the majority of their name brand items are just nasty and cheap). Walmart doesnt even price match or use competitors coupons anymore. Its actually cheaper to go to Ingles, Kroger and Publix now, and they sell brand name items!!!Theyre also getting rid of their cashiers and going to self checkout only (which isnt horrible, except for when you have to wait inline for someone that doesnt know how to use the self scan machines). But worst yet, they didnt have a single checkout line that accepted cash. They ALL were card only! There should be at least one machine that lets you pay with cash and that will give you cash back.ALL the other stores still have self checkouts that let you pay in cash, and they all give you the option to get cash back if wanted!Thats why I choose not to shop at Walmart unless its a dire need, and still Ill choose to go somewhere else.I havent been to a Wal-mart in over 2 months, and thats because Wal-mart is turning into K-mart!And yall know how K-mart ended up, and thats exactly where Wal-mart is headed if the owners dont get their heads outta there arses!
As usual things are very difficult to find if not a major item. Couldnt find the right kurieg cups to save my life.
Sometimes wonder if Walmart is a secret organization, who always know what you want right before you get there. They also always know what you didnt know you wanted, but now gotta have.
Guality products and good service.
Very nice people, & everthing I need at a great price!!!
I love the variety of different sizes and weights in food and other items you cant find variety like this at other Walmarts. The only downside is when its time to check out they never have enough registers and you can only use cards to self checkout and we dont use cards only cash.
Usually a good selection. Dont care for the self checkout as much but at least there arent long lines.
Love it ! However they keep moving things around !! Only after I know where it is !
Second time came to shop and no carts at either entrances. I will shop at target, kroger, rtc. at least they try to assist to find one
Walmart by-byOne star only because a young lady checked out my $300 grocery bill. All self check outs. Put up a scanner on the cart and I will self check out on the go, but never will I stand in line for it.
They had run out of bugys and I was walking holding my one month old and a bunch of items I needed to run in and get when a nice employee who was busy himself noticed me. He stoped everything he was doing grabbed everything I was holding took me to the register and even found a buggy for me to take to the car. Its honestly not the actual store that makes it worth the stars its the employees. Always a smile on their face when my kids say hi to them and very willing to help when you need it.
I went to return a blu-ray movie that I had already bought, unfortunately I didnt have my receipt, so I said all I wanted to do is exchange it for another movie, it wasnt opened and it has a wal-mart sticker on the front, they said, it is their policy that they do not return dvds, so I checked every where on their policy of returns/exchanges and no where does it say such a thing!!!
Walmart always sucks only go if i absolutely have to.
Absolutely nobody had a mask on it was as if covid didnt exist and everyone was looking at me and my kids as if we were aliens because we were the only ones with our mask on and this was almost three weeks ago. Still love Tennessee tho!!!
Went there.sucked.went the next week .no carts got dog food only left went to dollar general.lol
Great like usual not busy.
Groceries and different gadgets bought consistently throughout every month.
Its so big and easy to find just about everything needed
There Is Never Enough cashiers better to help you. It seems like you have to do and the customer has to do all the work themselves
I did a grocery pickup and was greeted in a friendly manner, Ciara your a doll, and it was fast and professional service.
It was ok. Mostly clean but they were out of many items and the registers rang slow, not the employee but the actual computer took forever to register the items. The parking lot has a difficult set up to navigate. Not my favorite shopping experience not my worst. So 3 out of 5 seemed fair.
Today, everything seasonal was placed in the racetrack nice and neat. All merchandise was well organized. I was able to make it in and out in a quick fashion. A few things little but nothing that everyone else is not experiencing during this time.
Always wish the staff were more helpful, informative, and trained better.
Typical Walmart experience. Not crowded when I went (about 5pm)
Its walmart its cheap and the managers are lazy. Rarely carts at the door, no one is at the registers just a few in the front. Really went downhill in the last few years.
Vision department was great service and nice and full filling, would recommend to everyone
Went in for a specific item. Went to sporting goods and it was not on the shelf. It’s a larger item so I asked if they could check in the back. The guy looked at me and said no, and if it says online we have it it’s wrong. We have not done inventory since 2019 so it’s not right. However I could have purchased it as a same day pick up on the app. He would not even attempt to check for us! I have never dealt with such rude customer service as I did. I work retail and understand that it can be frustrating and people are rude to you all day long sometimes but there was zero reason for him to have been so dismissive.
Its Walmart. It would be hard to complain really.
Terrible! Went thru self checkout because literally only 4 lanes open. Rang all my stuff up only to find the machine will not accept cash. There was no sign. Had to get out of line, go wait in the cash only self service. I would rather pay more somewhere else than to deal with what walmart has become.
Went for outdoor plants. While not many plants out, they do have quite a few bulbs that we went for. Great prices for the summer bulbs
I love visiting different Walmart(s) to see what they sell.
Good selection and good prices
If you are using grocery pick up do not trust them.I ordered grocery pick up for 5-6 time slot. Checked in at 5:20 and at 6 I called to ask if they knew I was here. They assured me they would be out soon. At 6:30 I called them. No answer for 8 calls. Around 7 Went into shop for myself. They picked up on my way in. I told them to cancel the order I will shop for myself. Then the associate told me I can go to the back of the store pick up my order and load it into my car myself. What a joke. Save some money over Kroger.... but lose all the time in the world. Best part is they didnt even say sorry.
I dont even need to put my feelings in a comment about Walmart haha. I think we all know that deathly feeling one dreads getting ready to go into Walmart.Although one is feeling insecurities about ones self.... Take a breath and roam around in Walmart sure to make you feel better. You just never know what your gonna see in there. Or who will be wearing what if any clothes lol. Have you ever seen the pics people post about people and the crazy things people wear at wally world? Now also I will say this. The check out isles are not bad kinda handy if u only have a few things and u dnt wanna stand in line. However... If you have a lot! Of stuff its BS! Not only do you dread the whole experience. You have to walk around and shop and deal with people that are rude standing in the middle of the isles who wont move so you can go through or their standing in the middle having a conversation with a group of people. Or there is stuff everywhere and you dont have room to walk. Or they never have the shelf stocked. Then you have to scan all your stuff plus bag it. Then you go put it in the car and load it. Then unload when you get home and put it up. Im sorry I know you kno. However I am still waiting for my w2s form papers to fill out.
Got most of everything you could need. Just like everywhere else they could use more workers.
The small staff worked their tails off they had a line miles long hats off to you all good food deserts and Awesome staff
Had almost everything we needed, except a few items that the app said were in store were not there
A great place to shop for groceries, clothing, household items, gardening supplies, and tires or oil change. Very reasonable prices! Clean store and bathrooms.
I have no complaints about Wal-Mart. If you have questions about a product, there is noone to ask.
Its a Wal-Mart just like any other Wal-Mart! Nothing particularly good or bad stands out here, its just a big box retail store. They do have accessible parking and ramps, so its wheelchair ready!
Always have what you need.
Cant find no one to help you out stock is low too much stock on top of shelf that you cant reach and too many employees shopping for customers pickup. Two regular lanes open express lanes open. This is going back to school and college Walmart needs to open more registers not the fast check up cuz those lines were too long to
