Hands down the best experience I have ever had purchasing tires. Had a blowout on Alcoa Highway (see pics) and was able to change to my spare to get here. These guys immediately found the tires I needed and had everything done in about 30 minutes...2 new tires, replace old spare, remount spare under truck. I promise I will not buy tires anywhere else after yesterday. Thank you guys for getting after it! Well done!

I special ordered 4 Dunlop Sport 7000 tires in store. They do not keep these tires in stock on site. I found the tires cheaper at online tires. Discount tire not only price matched but gave me a few dollars more off the price of each tire. Each tire sells for $219.99 on Discount Tire website. After the discount the total for 4 tires, disposal of old tires, labor and tax ended up being $1,029.99. I was told it would take 4 to 5 days for my tires to arrive. I received a call at 5:00 pm on Friday evening, they close at 6:00 pm. I stopped in at 10:30 am Saturday morning. The store was packed! I was told the soonest my tires could be put on would be 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm because I didnt have an appointment! Let me get this straight....I prepaid in store....I wait 5 days....and I am last in line to have them installed? This is the way it SHOULD work: Any special order, prepaid sale should automatically be front of the line! For any customer! PERIOD! Appointments second and walk ins third. Actually the rule used to be the customer in store took precedence! My tire maintenance light was on and STILL is! I asked to have my computer reset. When I went to leave I noticed it was still on and stopped by the open bay and asked if they would reset it. I received some bs about it resetting itself after driving. Nope! I knew this was not true and was advised to come back if it didnt go off. See photos. Even WITH an appointment no one gives a diddly about your time. See photos. My tires were supposed to be put on and completely done in 45 minutes. My screenshots show exactly when they pulled my car into the bay. Other than the price match this was hands down the worst Discount Tire I have ever been to! Michigan locations AMAZING! Chicago locations AMAZING! I have always felt valued at Discount Tire until Saturday and today. YES, I had a 2:30 pm appointment today. 3 stars is for the discount and for the tire bags that my old tires were put in. Try a different location unless you enjoy waiting all day for tires!

I stopped in yesterday to get a tire, which we put a tube in, seated correctly. Joel, the manager, not only helped us quickly, but was awesome in how he handled the entire experience. A shining example of what service based businesses should aspire to be - Friendly Quick Service WITH A SMILE. Very old school for such a young man.If quality & service matter to you... you wont easily find better.

I didnt get good service there. They offer free tire repair to me and told me they would plug it free of charge. When I arrived they saw i already have new tires and they couldnt sell me anything so they told me it was a 5 hr wait and then said they couldnt do it. It was a simple screw in the tire.

Excellent Care & Service! I truly feel I was treated professionally and fairly beyond standard business practices of Tire Dealers.My tire sensor icon registered on my instrument panel when I started my 2018 Soul+ KIA. I assumed it was due to drop in air temperature during the night. I walked around the car and checked the tires, really could not see any tire low to the ground or flat. Being a retired senior with plenty of time on hand, I immediately drove to my local Discount Tire Store in Alcoa TN.My tires were checked for proper inflation of 35 psi. 3 of the tires were at 31psi, and my right rear tire was at 26 psi. The staff member looked and checked that tire rubbing his hand over the thread for nails, which he didnt find, then had me start my car and roll forward to inspect it. What he said was that there was a repair plug in the tire, and it might be the cause of a slow leak.I was told to go inside and tell someone at the front desk. I did and was told they would check it out and if leak was caused by their tire repair, (they had previously repaired that tire because of nail puncture ) they would replace the tire free of charge. I was also told if they did replace the tire, it would be placed at the front of the car having the best threaded tires in the best position.The tire was taken off the rim, fully checked for air leaks 2 times and no problems were found. The tire was reassembled with a new valve stem and put back on the car, my keys were handed to me and all with no charge. I always have to pre-order tires for my transam, so never same-day service. This time, I returned as instructed and was told my tires had not arrived. I requested the manager take over and it turned out my tires had been delivered but not entered into the computer. Installation was uneventful and the tires seem fine, although they werent my choice. But, the warranty is good for the price.

Has a flat tire, they were friendly and very knowledgeable. The store and restroom were very clean! They even offered me some water. Very professional team. Thanks for great service. Best of all they fixed my tire for FREE!

Starting with a phone call. Mr. Tyler Hensley, who did not know me, took nearly 30 minutes of his day to listen to my idea. Together we worked out a start to a solution. He offered ideas and information, when no other company would even talk to me. ( I live 50 miles away) Without getting into every detail, Mr. Hensley and Discount Tire of Alcoa, TN. are bar-none the best place to do business. This was my 2nd experience within the last 4 months. (different vehicles) Satisfied to the fullest. They have a great team there. Do not hesitate to go. They did what no-one else could do. Just ask me.

Besides being very courteous and informative the service was completed in a very timely manner. This place is like the Walmart of tire shops. The first time I went in a few years ago they tried to sell me on a different brand of tires than I was originally looking for. I went home to do some research on their suggested brand and discovered that they gave me factually incorrect information about the tires. Obviously that gave me very little confidence in them but recently I had a tire get destroyed by a puncture so I was in a bind for a replacement and they were one of the few stores in town that could get the specific tire I needed so I took my chances. First sign of trouble was that they over inflated the tire by 14 pounds. Then a few days later when I washed my truck I could see that they badly scratched my wheel. Strike 3. Ill definitely never go back regardless of what kind of bind Im in.

We went in to have a slow leak diagnosed.. there was a small now. The men were friendly and quick with the service and most looked to enjoy what they were doing. Keep up the good work!And best of all the repair was free!! I definitely know where Im going when I need new tires.

This is my 3rd time to use Discount Tires and I’m impressed!! First experience was for our camper trailer tire that blew. Second time I bought a full set of tires for my daughters truck. Now I’m here for lawn mower tire repair or replacement. I can not brag enough on the guys who work here (Alcoa/Maryville location)! They have taught me so much and seem to always be willing to go the extra mile to make sure I get what I need.

I had a 4 oclock appointment here at Discount to mount one tire and rotate all 4. They had my car in the garage and right back out in 20 minutes!!! Those guys in the garage were hustling and getting the job done QUICK!! To see them working so hard as a Team to give excellent customer service was AWESOME!!!

These guys are awesome! Very little waiting, especially for drive up service (no appointment). Dont even have to leave your car while they work, unless they have to raise the car for some reason. Great price. Friendly, convenient service. Within walking distance to restaurants, Kroger grocery, pharmacy and other kill time places, if you dont I want to hang out in their waiting room.

I specifically ordered a set of Cooper tires for my car and was notified they were in, so I made an appointment for installation, which they could not get me in for a couple of days. After arriving, in a few minutes they told me they only had 2 tires in stock. They offered to install another brand in stock for the same price, so I ended up doing that so I did not have to come back. They did get it done quick, but it was very frustrating to not get what I ordered.

Got a blow out on my Porsche. Got it towed into Alcoa and went to 4 tire shops. Not one would look at my tire except Discount tire. The guy I worked with was Sam. They were very busy and Sam got it in within 10 mins. He said it was unfixable and it was. He tried to order one but it was too late in the day, 3pm on a Saturday. He ordered it to come in Monday morning. I got there Monday morning at 7:50, they open at 8. Sam was there with my new tires and had them on my car by 8:30. This is the best service, ever. If I lived in this area I would steal Sam to come work for me. His work ethic is what this country needs more of. Thank You Sam.

These guys get you taken care of in a timely fashion. Theyre always finished way before the time they say theyll be finished. They demonstrate great details about your current tires and tires you are about to buy. Their service is great.

Wait was VERY long, they are very busy. I think they scratch my car, I had just gotten a new paint job and it was the first time I had driven it anywhere, so Im not sure how else that could have happened. I have a Jaguar XF and could have gotten 2 Pirellis for the same price, and much closer to where I live, that I got mid-grade tires for here. Also, they said they had a specific kind that I wanted and drove an hour for, only for them to tell me that they actually didnt have the ones I went there for in the first place. I was leaving town on a road trip the next day, so I had to settle on what I got.

Ive been going to Discount Tire for about 7 years. Thats the only place I go for tire needs. I went today and needed 3 new tires, but I could only afford 2. The sales rep was able to get me a deal on more affordable tires so that I was able to get 3 new tires and stay within my budget! I made an appointment online before I went, so I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I recommend Discount Tire to anyone I know!

So friendly and helpful. I got a giant rock in my tire and they took care of everything so quickly. I had to replace the tires and the ones I had on the car weren’t available, but they found me a comparable set that were comparably priced. Definitely the place I’ll be getting tires I need in the future.

They were very quick but they put my wheels on so absurdly tight that I broke a 17mm socket and still had trouble getting them off with an impact. This is dangerous and can cause failure. Torque spec on most vehicles is about 90ft-lb. It ridiculous to tighten them to over 300.

You would think they would have the same price online as they would at the store but when I called about the set of tires I just saw online he quoted me a higher price. I asked them if they price match he said who are we beating, I said yourselves. Then he proceeded to tell me I had the wrong skew #. Luckily I had taken a screen shot of the tires and quote. And it matched his skew# for the tires. Needless to say I would not do business with them. Not a good experience.

We went out of our house to a flat tire. They said as long as we were there before 5 they would put 2 tires on!!! They were amazing!

Alcoa TN. Location. Had them replace original tires on a 2016 dodge ram 8/25/20. Upon getting back to work i noticed two wheels had significant damage from The tire changing machine. This one owner truck only has 20k miles on it and not the first stone chip. Imagine my frustration to find a 1 inch pc missing from one rim with gauge on the opposing side of the rim, and another rim with a 3 inch long pc cracked and hanging. (Chrome clad OEM wheels that retail for over $400 each). Theres obviously a training issue at this location and no quality checks to work afterwards when I could see it from 3 ft away. Called and was told to take pictures so they could talk with the tech. Not an apology, not a commitment to replace, not even an explanation of how that could possibly happen beyond a comment that wheels can become brittle. Its 3 years old. Looks like small claims court in.my near future. Pay the extra couple dollars on tire price and go to a reputable establishment. Can provide dated photos if interested.

Bought four tires. Aired up when needed free.

Made appointment yesterday for 2:30pm today, just to arrive on time to an absolute madhouse! No place to park & told would be about hour before theyd get to my car. This place schedules appointments but then advertises that Walkins are welcome. So I take the time to make an appointment just to get bumped by a bunch of walk-ins because the management cant handle the complications of a schedule. I would much rather pay an extra few $$ to work with people that can keep their arrangements. Dont bother scheduling an appointment, because they dont mean anything to the people running this place. Extremely disappointed & will be sure to share this ridiculous experience with anyone willing to listen.

Great staff! Great prices! I found myself needing a full set of tires on my vehicle. I started at Walmart but we know how that goes most of the time. So I called these guys. I wish I could remember the names of those involved, but everyone was amazing. Once I drove into the bay to get the tires I got to see the staff at work. Everyone was moving fast, having fun, singing, and just being goofy. I love to see such a fun place to work. They were clearly having a blast while doing great work. This is a rare find. I will return.

I am shaking my phone trying to get 6 stars out of it. After showing up 10 minutes before closing time with low tire pressure alarms on my new car (without Discount Tires), I found these folks more than happy to inspect and inflate my tires. This was great until a screw was found in one of the tires. As the shop was shutting down they pulled, repaired and balanced my tire and checked all 4 for proper inflation with no charge! All I can do is say thank you then spread the word to everyone I know just where to go... Discount Tire. Brian

We went there for truck tires. They did not have any sizes to fit his truck. Which is standard size not custom. We were told they couldnt get them in until next Saturday. 1 week away. To sum this up in my opinion they should have more sizes in stocks. What if I needed them for an emergency....

Came here to get new tires on my car, when I picked it up it had a large dent above the driver side door. The shop refused to take responsibility until I proved to them that it was one of their jacks that caused the dent. I would not recommend going here to get any service done

I had bought a tire when I hit a pothole and blew one apart on the highway. That was a few months ago. The Tire pressure monitor light kept coming off and on, finally staying on. When I FINALLY had some time, I stopped in. They noticed a nail in another tire while inspecting all 4 tires. They re-learned the computer for the Tire pressure monitor light, fixed the nail hole and rotated the tires. FOR NO COST! They are fast, friendly and super helpful. 5 stars! Boone helped me sign in and when it was going to take a long time because of how busy they were on a Monday morning, scheduled an appointment for my lunch hour at 2:30. I was out by 3:05! Pretty sure it was DJ that helped me when I got there for my appointment and he was excellent too. Thank you Discount Tire in Alcoa. You really came through for me!

The staff at this location was so kind and professional! We were in the Smoky Mountains on vacation, with a rental car, when we noticed damage to two of the tires’ sidewalls. We tried swapping the rental car out at the airport, but no similar vehicles were available. Our only other option was to get the tires fixed ourselves. It was 4pm and I knew late in the day, we might be out of luck. I did a quick Google search and decided to call Discount Tire. I spoke with Blake to ask if they had tires in stock for our Ford Transit van (apparently, these tires are a weird size) and if they could squeeze us in before the shop closed at 6pm. Blake went out of his way to personally confirm the tires were in stock, and told us to head on over. We were there within 10 minutes. Blake met us in the parking lot. It had been such a long, stressful day for us. I was hungry, had to use the bathroom, and didn’t have my mask with me, so I thought I couldn’t go inside. Blake gave me a mask and invited me on in. I was so relieved to use a clean bathroom! The team at Discount Tire had 2 tires replaced and had us back on the road within 30 minutes (and 30 minutes seemed like 5 because we were entertained by another staff member who struck up casual conversation with us). All in all, I would give a 10/10 for service and quality. Thank you Blake and the rest of the Discount Tire team in Alcoa! You saved our vacation and restored our faith in customer service!

I am super impressed with you all today! There was a bit of wait coming in the door but not a long one given the level of customers in the store. What really impressed me was the welcome and instant acknowledgment of my presence. They made sure to let me know that they knew I was waiting and was apologetic about the fact that they were so busy. I understand though and definitely don’t mind to wait my turn.Upon approaching the counter, Bodie welcomed me with a smile I could see in his eyes as he was wearing a mask (thank you). All of the team was professional and accommodating. The tires that I had placed in lay away were not in the store but after looking around locally to see if they could be delivered and the fact that they couldn’t, Bodie offered me an upgrade for the same price and even brought the tire down and showed it to me before I accepted it to make sure it was ok with me. While waiting, I could hear the comradeship out in the garage as everyone sounded positive and upbeat. Also, while I was waiting, my phone battery began to die and with a simple question, another teammate went to his vehicle to get me a charger to use. Thank you! I saw team members spraying down counters after customers left them and that was awesome too! Hands down, best garage/tire buying experience I have ever had. Went in with low tire light on the gentleman was so nice, checked all my tires, showed me how to shut the light off showing tires low. When I need tires this is the place I will go. Thank you.Back today 1.23.2021 nail in tire, same tire that was low the last time. This time a young man found it and showed me.Spoke with another man that works here, decided to go with 4 new tires. He explained everything to me and we checked out a couple of different tires.They kept me up to date on progress of getting tires on car. All were very professional. This is Saturday and they are all very busy.

We spent over two grand putting tires on my fiances Toyota Highlander and Porsche Boxster. Also the thousands we spent on other vehicles we put tires on we only put new tires. I have recently got a nail in the Porsche Tire brought it to them and they said they could not find any of the information on their computers. I think its time to upgrade your computer system it isnt right and it is not fair to the customers that you have faulty software. Besides a very long wait the service is genuinely good. Dig deep into your computer files and youll see weve been customers since the doors opened. They do have a decent waiting area and a professional Keurig coffee machine thats a plus. They do have knowledgeable and courteous staff.

They were fast service providers the information i need about the tired and clean environment

It was busy when I got there at 850am. Told me it would be about an hour and a half. They were only off by about 5 minutes. And there was still a line. Im told Friday and Saturday are the busy days. So if you have nothing better to do, wait. Dont want to wait? Come on another day or drop and return.

Over 2 hours to have a tire I purchased for my wifes car look at, it was losing air, they have always been slow. They talk about how great their service but they shouldnt lie. It is NOT good service to make you wait just to look at the tire. The tires were almost new. Will not be using this place anymore.

This was my first visit to a Discount Tire and I must say I was very impressed! What I first noticed is that someone came out to great me in the parking lot!!! Upon entering the building I noticed that the lobby area was very clean and bright and the shop area was clean and well organized. All of the employees I encountered were extremely friendly with a clean cut appearance and eager to help. Marshall initially helped me with pricing and ordering the tires I wanted and Kyle coordinated the install when my tires arrived at their shop. I was very picky about the rims on my Mercedes being treated carefully as this was the first set of tires I have had installed since purchasing the vehicle new and the rims were still in new condition (no rash or scratches). Kyle and Marshall went to great lengths to accommodate me!The bottom line here is that my experience with this company was great, the price for the set of tires I ordered was better than I expected and I will definitely return in the future for my next set of tires as well as recommend Discount Tire to my friends and family.Great job guys!!!

Ended up with a flat due to a sidewall puncture on Wednesday evening. Stopped by Thursday around 5:30 PM. They replaced my tire with a brand new one because of the road warranty certificates for much cheaper than anywhere around and had me out by 5:45 PM. Great staff, great work, great place.
