Joyce Sanders, the patient service coordinator answered my call for help. Once at her office she took my hearing aids and proceeded to evaluate why they were not working properly. I waited just a few minutes and she serviced my hearing aids and I was on my way. Without her help I would had to gone all weekend plus some without having workable hearing aids. We need more capable service coordinators/technicians like Joyce. Thanks a bunch...Great customer service!
I was greeted by a very helpful and kind lady, I believe her name is Julie, and was seen literally 2 minutes after I got there. Mind you I was 25 minutes early and they got me thru the testing and out the door in less than 15 min. I was literally done before my actual appointment time. Dr Cindy was super quick with the assessment and answered all my questions about the test.
I brought my mother staying with me through the summer to see why her hearing aids were squealing. Cynthia cleaned and replaced her tubes. No charge, but what a difference. No squeal and no repeating.
I received excellent customer oriented service. I had a minimal wait time and 100% of Cynthia’s attention from the time I walked in. My options were laid out in a way that was direct and easy to understand. She was caring and knowledgeable. I received help with financial options. My experience was great. I would highly recommend Sandra Hearing Center.
I was very pleased with my experience. My appointment was on time and very pleasant. I was told what was happening each step of my visit. And the result of tests were explained clearly.
Joyce at the front desk and all the staff are fantastic people. They take care of any issues that come up with my dads hearing aide. I highly recommend any one to do your business with them. They are located off of Menual and Carlisle in Albuquerque.
Service is always great. Today as well. Both hearing aides are being sent so that they can be looked at and figure out why batteries are not holding their charge
Professionals thru out entire process . Thorough and to the point, couldn’t ask for more ! Thanks Cynthia, and receptionist whose name I don’t remember.
Excellent service and done quickly would go back if I needed to
Well run organization. Cynthia is very helpful. She is friendly, listens carefully and provides guidance.
Mrs. Cynthia Goranson was very professional and very knowledgeable of the hearing profession. Everything and the process was explained in which I did learn a lot about my hearing. Also the staff that greeted me and assisted in the paperwork was also kind and professional.
Cynthia is always helpful, quick, and efficient in dealing with any hearing aid issues.
I would like to commend JOYCE for her excellent customer service support. Greatly appreciate you JOYCE
My Mother appreciated the great service she was given at Sandia Hearing Aides.
The staff is very courteous but they cannot make repairs.
As always friendly helpful and meets my needs completely..
Great. Friendly and very helpful. On time.
Im sorry to say that my experience at this center was very unpleasant and I left feeling degraded. The experience started with the receptionist who asked me a screening question, if I had been tested for COVID. My response was yes that I had last Thursday with the results coming back negative and again yesterday with yesterdays results not havent been received. I explained to them that I work in healthcare and routinely have to get tested. She called her manager and they denied me service.Ive been tested routinely since March and have not received a positive test and I live in a household at 6 people and Im proud to say all of us are healthy. This is something Im very proud of as we live and take precautions for safety. After her manager denied me service she backed away from me as if I was contagious with leprosy or something like that. She told me it was their policy that if I was awaiting a COVID test result that I could not be seen.it was with exception that I was able to get the same day appointment based on my condition that I described to them when I made the appointment. Then to be turned away like this was not appropriate. The receptionist again repeated to me that it was their policy and then asked me the question okay?My response was that it was not okay and that I did understand but it was not okay for me to have taken time off to be turned away in this manner. She again repeated for the third time that it was their policy and as I was leaving she muttered something like Im sure you understand being in healthcare. Her tone while having to have the last word was insensitive and rude. I was not even offered an opportunity to reschedule. I would not recommend it nor will I attempt to seek their services again.
Cynthia is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and does everything possible to allow a person to hear as well as possible.Staff is very helpful too.
Only had my hearing aids for a short timeFeel like there is a lot of fine tuning yet to get them comfortable.
When I first realized that I needed hearing aids, I went to Sandia Hearing Aids because of the excellent service my late mother in law had received there before she died (2010). I got an interview with a lady clinician who immediately impressed me with her attentiveness, knowledge and caring attitude. She quickly selected a mid-range pair of aids that would meet my needs, and her judgments were correct - theyve been meeting my needs for three years (so far), and she continues to provide me timely and attentive service.
Took my client, it was nice.
The service they provide as follow-up is just excellent
The people are friendly and always willing to help.
Great products, clearly explained and personally tailored to both your hearing and your finances. Friendly, competent staff.
Cynthia Goransen is just the best! I went to Sandia and was evaluated by Cynthia. She spent the time to explain everything that was happening and what my options were regarding my hearing loss. I got the proper hearing aids and have enjoyed a better life since then. I return every few months for cleaning and evaluation with Cynthia. She is so friendly, kind, knowledgeable and sincere in our meetings that I look forward to our visits. Thank you Cynthia and all the staff at Sandia Hearing Aid Center. I appreciate you.
Cynthia was very nice and friendly durnibg our first visit. Was told that it would take about 2 weeks for thw heating aid to come in. Today makes 3 weeks and so I called to check if they was in and the receiptionist was so unfriendly and seemed bothered that I was calling to check in. I told her that cynthia had told us about 2 weeks and she replied Cynithia was unaware and we told her it wouldnt be two weeks it could take up to 3 months we will call you when they are in!! It would of been nice if we was informed that the information i told her responce was OH WELL After my fathwr recieves his hearing aid We will be changing hear aid clinic. BY FAR WORST PLACE IVE DEALT WITH. HORRIABLE PEOPLE SKILLS.
Very happy with the appointment
Clean and sanitized center. Staff is friendly
For past 20 + years, have always had great service! Friendly folks also.
Joyce was amazingly helpful. Thanks for all you do!!
My grandfather had a hearing test today and on this adventure we encountered the rudest, most condescending, bully of a doctor. He did not listen to my grandfather, spoke down to me and him, laughed mockingly, and was just the most rude person I honestly have ever met. This man seemed to want to bully is into the hearing aid. I dont remember his name but he was a tall short haired man with an awful disposition. This one doctor has ruined the entire company for me and honestly I dont think he should be dealing with patients of any sort.Th company offered a free hearing test but it seemed this doctor was offended by our weariness of purchasing an (expensive, NOT FREE) hearing aid. I dont know what the free crap was about but we NEVER heard anything about it, which is the whole reason we came in as a free digital hearing was offered. He also listened through the door when he told us to talk about the hearing aid among ourselves and then would come in and tell us that because of the way we spoke privately that nothing he could say would make us want to buy one. Well he was right. I wouldnt buy anything from this gross, cynical human, and you should not either. This was at the 3301 Menaul Location
I have been going to Sandia Hearing Aids for more years than I can remember. Ive bought at least four sets of aids during that time, most recently last week. Ive always been taken care of by Cynthia and Ive always been impressed by her knowledge, understanding, and explanations, while showing a genuine concern over my problems. Loss of hearing is not a fun thing but it certainly has been mitigated so that I can still have as normal a life as possible. Thank you, Sandia, and especially you Cynthia, for youve done to enrich my life.Dan Sandoval
I visited Sandia to get my hearing aids adjusted. The doctor was rude, and condescending to me. He told me adjustment cost $800. After I agreed he made the adjustment but told me I didn’t know what good hearing was. I told him he was making me feel uncomfortable and I excused myself. He followed me out and told the receptionist to charge me $100. After I asked “is that all?” He replied “I change other customers nothing!”
They tell you like it is in a perfectly professional manner!!
Very helpful in finding the best solution for my needs. They offered multiple options, and have provided great service ever since.
While all the staff of Sandia Hearing Aids on Menaul in Albuquerque are very fine and helpful, I will focus on Mrs. Cynthia Goranson. Her expertise is exemplified by numerous Certifications and awards on two walls. Her extensive skills and helpfulness are given genuinely and graciously to the lasting benefit of her customers whose hearing, I trust, has improved as much as mine at her care. Sandia Hearing Aids management is very fortunate to have one so dedicated. Thank you. Gordon B. Hamley.
The staff were rude, and the man I saw kept trying to sell me on their most expensive product even after I told him I couldnt afford it. Youre better off going elsewhere. Avoid this place.
Have always had great service and remarkable care. They have made my life better through improved hearing.
Theyre sales people first and hearing experts second. They will sell their products and say anything to get you to buy them. Please research and shop around before buying from Sandia.
Excellent care center & assistance for repairs
I am very satisfied with my hearing aids. Kieth has been very helpful and patient with me.
I have done business off and on with Sandia Hearing for two decades. But now something is amiss. I took a phonak hearing aid in for repair because of a popping and static problem. After a week they called me back and said it was ready. I went there and while they were running my credit card to pay $300 for the repair, I put the aid in my ear and it was like it had never been repaired. The same static and popping. They said it would have to be sent to the factory but they went ahead and ran the charge anyway. Even though it wasnt fixed.
Such nice staff. Always willing to help.
Sandia Hearing has always treated me with the greatest respect and courtesy.
I never could hear right out of them. I have since changed and am hearing for the first time in years.
A lady who works there scared my family member in getting hearing aids for another family member by saying my father went deaf and then he went blind and then later he died while he was is in his deaf and blind state. Who does that to get commission the approach was just wrong
I went to have my hearing aid repaired, a simple repair that has previously been done at this location the receptionist flat out told me they dont repair hearing aids and said for me to find some one who does repair hearing aids.
Very helpful staff
