There is a young woman at the front counter who started hassling us for mistaking types of rocks. Alina. Wife and I are brand new in this topic, no clue. At first we played along, albeit it was uncomfortable, assuming she just gives people a hard time. But she didnt let up. And then she used the word STUPID toward my wife. Lady we help all kinds of people, expert or stupid. Let me tell you something, how this place is staying in business I have no clue. Even if youre bantering, show some professionalism and common respect. We walked and I advise anyone else to do the same until this company gets a handle on customer service.

Great salespeople but the workmanship is terrible. There were chips in the quartz. My six foot long countertop is 1/2 inch higher at one end than the other and they said it was within specs. All the caulking is cracked, the pieces of countertop don’t line up, and the epoxy isn’t color matched. They wouldn’t fix anything. They made all sorts of excuses to justify their mistakes. The owner is impossible to deal with.

We used Rocky Mountain Stone for all the granite countertops in our new home. Karen Ryan, our designer did a fabulous job in helping with selection and design. The granite came out perfect. The templating and finishing were excellent. Everyone who sees our granite countertops and back splashes thinks they are beautiful

UPDATE:I recently received a call from Karen with RMS. They were very apologetic about the issues we had with our granite installation. She offered to send a crew out immediately to fix the issue. The crew was at our house the very next day, and they were able to move the shifted granite piece back into place. They also recaulked part of our backsplash and the entire sink, which simply had aged. We are very happy that the staff at RMS resolved our issue, over 2 years after the initial installation.***Original Review***After approving the granite layout and paying for our installation, we were called by the cutting shop and informed they could not cut the pieces as planned. They added 4 seams around our sink, and told us too bad, youll have to deal with it. We were assured the seams would be invisible, and were very strong.The installers completed the job and we quickly discovered that they had used two different colors of caulking on the granite. Some backsplash seams had white caulk, while others had clear. We had to call someone back to remove the white caulk and replace with clear.About 1 year after the installation, the granite seams around our sink began to crack. A year later, and all seams around our sink look horrible. One of the granite pieces is sinking, and it is obvious it was not supported well from below. If they had cut the granite as promised, this could have been avoided.

I spent at the store about 30 minutes waiting just to learn their prices. Lots of employees but no one can help customers. After such a long wait, I have learned that their prices almost twice higher that others.

I remodeled a 100 yr old adobe home and looked for a counter-top to match, Rocky Mountain Stone was the only place that came up with something for me. It was a special water-brushed granite that I could not get anywhere else. They were great to work with and were very punctual. Priced very competitive as well.When I started showing the home I received very many complements on the kitchen and in particular the counter-tops. What a great job and will recommend them to all my clients and friends.

Karen Ryan at RMS helped us from long distance with a kitchen countertop install for our rental property. During the initial measure, she checked out the cabinets and flooring and gave us granite recommendations that would match. She made the whole process simple, is friendly and nice, and is very timely in communication.I had initially contracted with Lowes about 5 weeks earlier, reasoning that it would be easier to deal with a national company from across the country. I never heard from them again, even after leaving multiple phone messages and emails. Ironically, we were finally contracted by the Lowes subcontractor the day RMS did their final measure for our new counters, and after wed called a manager at Lowes to cancel.I heartily recommend RMS - go local!
