Excellent experience. My family and I have worked with Desert Greens Equipment for years. We recently purchased a tractor with a front loader and drive on mower deck. Mike was fabulous. He took his time to explain how to work all aspects of the tractor. He is very patient and knowledgeable. Mike always is willing to answer questions. This season we added a backhoe and Mike spent hours helping make sure we were comfortable with the new piece of equipment. We have also taken all our other equipment in for service and Desert Greens did an excellent job on the maintenance.

Great experience! Drove onto the lot and checked out the 1025R tractors. Mike was great and showed us how everything worked. Even took us to the back lot to use the bucket attachment. So glad we came in today because the inventory is low, but we got what we needed!!

Parts listed in software, dont match parts on Tractors. Hard to impossible to find correct partAny part has to be ordered. Service may be better if you are working on lawn equipment or ATVs.

Bought a 3025e from them. This is the the place to buy a john deere from if you are in the market for a new tractor. The helpful staff made this a breeze to purchase a new tractor. Mike Otero was the salesman that helped me along and got me set up with my new 3025e. The process was fast and easy and when I went to pick up my new tractor Mike showed me everything I needed to know about my tractor before I left the lot. I seriously tried looking at other john deere dealerships and one tried to rip me off with a $300 set up fee and a $700 liquid fill fee and not to mention a $1,200 buy rate added on top of the loan if I purchased theough them. I checked out Desert Greens and bang, a better tractor for less with no weird fees, crystal clear terms on the financing, a one time $385 insurance deposit that literally covers most things and a fantastic warranty. I feel like I got the best deal possible on my new john deere. Definitely stop and take a look at these guys if you plan on buying a new tractor, you won’t be disappointed!

Used to be a pretty good place to go for Deere. New owners dont seem to understand the business. I understand that theyre the daughter & son-in-law of the original owner. Seems thats all that made them qualified. The previous owner, while not being particularly personable, knew what he was talking about.Sales is more concerned about that monthly payment & their commission than making sure customers are in the right piece of equipment. Talking with other customers, missed promises and incorrect accessories are common.The most recent parts guy (tall guy with a beard, not going to name names here) was knowledgeable and got the right part, every time, in a very timely manner. The old parts guy that moved to service, then sales - he doesnt know what hes doing. Something changed within the last few weeks and now wrong parts & delays are the norm. Their store in Belen seems to have a better grasp on parts now, despite also being inexperienced.Cant say much about having equipment serviced here, I work on my own stuff. Ive talked to the mechanics before and they know what theyre talking about.

Id been shopping for a utility tractor for work on my orchard for quite a while. The orchard requires a lot of digging in rocky soil for fencing and for irrigation. I was leaning toward a bigger tractor for power, but I wanted something small enough to maneuver in tight places. Mike, a salesman at Desert Greens, helped me select a 3046R that was just the right for my size of operation and he helped me outfit it with the right attachments. So far, the tractor has been working out perfectly. Ive never felt like I didnt have enough power and Im really glad I didnt go with a bigger tractor.This is my third tractor. My previous two were a 1952 and a 1988. So, needless to say, I needed help getting used to the modern controls and systems on this tractor. Mike was extremely helpful showing me how things work. The tractor has been a joy to work with. I guess my 1952 will be a yard ornament or a resto project now. Its never gonna see real work again now that I have the 3046!When I was working with Mike I mentioned how much I wanted a gator, but that it wouldnt fit in my budget. He said hed keep an eye out for a used one for me. I didnt think much of it. Later on, he contacted me and said he had a good deal on a trade-in gator that needed some work. Long-story short, he found me the perfect gator. It needed work that made it a great deal but that was really manageable for me in the shop. I use that gator every day now! Its an indispensable tool for the orchard.Overall, my experience at Desert Greens and with Mike were outstanding. Im a customer for life.

I couldnt be happier with my 1023e sub compact John Deere tractor and the help I received in making the right choice for what I need. The sales rep Mike was down to earth, patient, and didnt pressure me for the sale. He encouraged me to test drive various models and move some gravel they have behind the shop. When I bottomed out on what model to get, he and the techs helped me customize the hydraulic package to meet my needs as efficiently as possible. He was also very responsive in answering follow up questions on the phone. I researched all major brands online and visited other local stores - hands down they offer the best financing. Now I mow 2 acres in no time, and the front loader has been perfect for repairing my driveway after big rainstorms. Cant recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys!

Adam in sales is great, he really went out of his way to help me out. Our family has been doing business with them for some time now. We have purchased one John Deere tractor and now 2 Arctic Cat ATVs. I really appreciate them. Cant wait to come back and get a side by side in a couple years!

Originally posted 2 years ago that this was a great place. I dont agree with that assessment anymore (8/2019) after my experience this last week. Rude employees, delays in orders, limited stock on hand. They are now a Stihl dealer, hopefully they will improve. I wont be back to see if they do or not. I will now go to 4 rivers equipment for all my tractor parts.

My dad has purchsed many many parts for his tractor from this store and has never had a problem! Me and my husband wanted to buy a utv and give them the buisness. We went and looked at them at Desert Greens and the Sales manager (Adam) is beyond rude! He has terrible people and customer service skills. Because of you, you lost our buisness and instead we purchased our utv from motorsports adventures! I would give no stars if I could!

Only customers, myself and my father, went in with intentions of buying a new mower, a representative outside saw us walk inside the store, there were two workers inside and not one came to great us or even say Hi... we looked at mowers and walked around the store for 10 min and still no one came to greet us or ask us if we had questions. By that time we were unhappy with the customer services and decided to leave. As we were leaving thats when the representative outside asked if we had questions... just told the gentlemen no and left. Not a friendly place and poor service. Wont step in that store ever again.
