They do not follow up on messages. I would love to have them come by and fix my windows. Ill call later this morning and hopefully set up an appointment.
John and crew arrived on-time and immediately began working. They worked from 8:30 till 3:30 with no breaks and were polite & professional. The end result is all new Impervia windows that add $$ to the value of the residence & control heating/AC costs. Absolutely the best!
It has been more than 6 months that we have been waiting for 2 windows and a sliding glass door to be replaced and they never show up to scheduled appointments I had to pay to have my blinds taken down they no showed again 3x now I keep having to take off of work to wait for them just to get a no show the excuse rhey don’t have the parts????? You can’t tell me you didn’t know that a week before but 6 months and still can’t get this done they don’t even bother to call would never recommend them the doors and windows we purchased were supposed to be an upgrade and they are horrible
Windows were installed however one window screen was broken/inoperable when installed. The installation team noted this on the service receipt and informed me he had contacted his supervisor and a new screen would be installed within 10 days to two weeks. So 11 months after the windows were installed and Pella of Abq received their full payment my window is still not fixed and my attempts to contact Pella of Abq have gone no where. Two times trying to contact Pella to get my new window fixed from installation and I haven’t heard anything from them. Extremely disappointed. When I called over a week ago I got the run around from everyone I spoke with and when some women spoke to me she said I would get a call back that day. Yet a week and a half later still no call and still an inoperable window after 11 months. When you read Pella of Abq website they make rave claims about themselves and how customer service is of utmost importance to them. Nothing but puffery in an attempt to get residence of Abq to fork over tens of thousands of dollars for windows that don’t work. I went with Pella of Abq because of their claims and the quality of the window but am certainly not happy and need to look into all of my options to resolve this matter. Buyer beware of this company.
The only reason Five stare is due to TJ the installer/profressional. I was suppose to have an expedite service which took over two months. Dan and Jade need training on how to speak to customers....
The crew of Sean, Ray, Jason, Donald, and Kelly just finished an amazing install at our home. In total, we had (17) high-quality windows installed efficiently, professionally, and head of schedule. The entire crew was courteous and hard-working. They were responsive to my questions and overall great communicators. I have already recommended Pella to friends and family. Highly recommend these windows and I would recommend this crew for sure!
Sean, Ray and crew were terrific! They were prompt each of the five days they worked at our house, were careful with our beautiful new windows, were thorough and attentive in the finishing touches, cleaned up after themselves each day, were cheerful and polite. A pleasure to have around. Our new windows are beautiful, enhancing our view, and sealing out wind and weather, opening and locking smoothly. The InView screens are amazing, too; we hardly notice them.
7 months after install, we still are missing components and have problems. The poor service given by Anthony P. has cost us an unbelievable amount of time and money. We purchased all the windows and doors for a large new construction house in Santa Fe, which was designed around glass. We have bubbles in the trim, problems with the operation or closing of several windows and doors, and are still waiting on screens and essential components. When we first placed the order for the entire house, Anthony did not submit it, so when the install date came - there was nothing to install! We had to wait several more weeks, which cost us a lot of money to shuffle the trades and make some wait. This mistake happened again when we had the new install date - Anthony had not scheduled the installer...
Sean Crisman and his team installed a french door in our master bedroom and a sliding glass door in our living room yesterday. We are extremely pleased with the products and their workmanship. We received several reminders of time and date of installation; they arrived on time (even 10 minutes early), and completed the job in just over four hours. They were very careful to cover the floor and furniture with drop cloths and cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend this team and Pella Windows & Doors of Albuquerque.
If I could leave zero stars I would! After installing 20k worth of windows and doors try and get Pella to come out and service them. good luck. The bottom of one of my casement window has rotted off and getting Pella to even come out and look at it will cost me another 95 dollars. In reply to your post return to the phone call Ive made 3 times in the lastweek with messages saying if want some one to come and give you a bid on replacing the window that was installed in 2003.. sorry we are busy but if you pay 95 dollars we will be happy to sell you another window... how much money can you spend? that will not last 20 years....Jon
We recently purchased a home in Bernalillo which features Pella doors and windows, which was actually part of our decision to buy the house. They are the most beautiful doors and windows I have ever seen. After about a month we found the doors not sliding properly, getting less so every day. I called Pella Doors Albuquerque and asked Contessa in Customer Service if they had provided the doors and after a search found the builder had in fact purchased through them. As they are very busy, I was told it would be mid-March (today is February 21) before a tech could come out ($95 fee). Contessa gave me the option of reaching out to a sub-contractor to see if they could come out sooner. After about 1/2 hour Contessa called me back that they had a cancelation and they would come next Tuesday. Very pleased with their protocol and Contessa is excellent at her job. Looking forward to meeting their tech next week; will follow-up on our experience with another review.
We installed Pella doors throughout our home 8 years ago, they are very high quality, however for over a year we cannot get a hold of anyone from Pella windows and doors of Albuquerque to service them. We have called numerous times, almost always with no one answering and having to have a message, but even when we have been able to speak to someone to leave a message asking for a service visit, they take the message but we have never recieved a return call to schedule the service call. Our sliding door has been sticking and difficult to open for over 6 months which likely would be a simple service visit, so frustrating.
Great food... A Santa Fe Favorite!
Sean and crew were awesome! Very attentive to our concerns and professional throughout entire installation.!
It’s really sad. This company makes a quality product, but this franchise is not worth your effort or money. We have several Pella windows in our home, and we were looking to install several more. When we called the manager, he literally told us “It’s not worth my time to replace your windows.” Uh, really?!He was insulting and missed what could possibly be a really big sale, since we are the type of people that sort of get addicted to projects and go overboard.Find someone else to use other than these guys.
I was a returning customer to Pella Windows and Doors of Albuquerque after being extremely pleased with our installations of windows and doors five years ago. Our most recent experience was just as positive. Our sales representative was knowledgeable and responded quickly to our inquiries. The installation team did a great job in some difficult access situations and were courteous and respectful of our property. And the Pella windows, of course, look great inside and outside, and are of the highest quality.
Sean Crisman and his team from S.T. 2K Construction and Home Services did the install on my Pella Impervia fiberglass windows. The team did an amazing job. They were way faster than I had planned (we figured about 5 days, they were done in 3); they were very clean and cleaned up after themselves, leaving the space cleaner than when they arrived; and they were great about answering questions and hitting rooms in an order that disrupted us (and our dogs) as little as possible. I would definitely recommend Pella windows, and definitely recommend Sean and his team.
I love my windows, but they are getting old. I needed some parts and service.Dan in the service department went above and beyond helping me out. This is how a company should be run.
Pablo J., Pellas Service Tech, arrived as scheduled to replace a screen door handle, check the status of a storm door handle and repair the rubber sweep at the bottom of a storm door.I have worked with him before and he is always so pleasant and friendly. He is patient in explaining any questions or concerns I have.I dont want any problems with my doors, but if a problem occurs, I know Pablo will figure it out!Highly recommend this professional, hard-working technician.Contessa set up the appt and made everything work out.She is always so helpful and a pleasure to work with.
We had a large project converting two windows and a single swinging door into a 12 foot double sliding door. It involved adding a new header, electrical, stucco, and a lot more. The Pella team did a great job helping us pick out the right door for our space, navigating financing, and doing all of the scheduling. And our install was done by ST2K Construction (Shawn, Ray, and team) -- they did fantastic! They called called and came by a few times before work began to make sure they had everything they needed and all of our questions were answered. When work began their team arrived early, put up plastic so the dust didnt blow across our house, did diligent work throughout the day, and stayed late to make sure the space was secure and clean over night (it was a 3 day job). When the left, the door, walls / stucco, electrical, and space was clean, crisp, and just what we wanted. Would recommend Pella and ST2K anytime!
We replaced our living room windows after a fire with the help of Anthony Padilla and were so impressed with Pella quality and service that we replaced all of the rest of the windows in the house. Anthony came to our house several times and was always easy to contact about our many questions. He had great suggestions to make the windows enhance the look of the house and we couldnt be happier with them. We highly recommend Anthony and Pella!
Sean from S.T. 2K Construction Home Services and Ray were excellent to work with. My new Pella doors and window look great and I appreciate the care they took with the work.
I had many technical, detailed sizing, and installation questions about bay windows. Ted Castillo spent a lot of time answering my questions and helping me. He made sure I had all of my questions answered and I never felt like he was trying to rush me out the door. I might add that in our discussion he learned the location for this window was in Colorado which is out of his territory. Yet he still spent the time addressing my questions and offering suggestions. Great service, beautiful showroom, great product.
I had called the showroom several times and was never able to get through and no one ever returned my calls. I started a chat on the website and was able to talk to Meaghan. She was friendly, informative, and got me the answer I needed within minutes. Definitely recommend using the chat instead of calling the showroom.
We’ve had Pella install different windows/doors in our house three times in the past 4 years. All three times have been excellent experiences. Sean and his crew were awesome - great communication, quick, and conscientious. Highly recommended.
Worst company to deal with. I called in to get a free estimate over a week ago. The sales rep needed to reschedule but never called me back to do so. I called in to reschedule my appointment and got asked to take my own measurements. Good thing I found out what type of company this is before I decide to spend thousands of dollars to deal with a bunch a people who do not want to do their jobs.
I have to agree with Jim W. We are contractors and it took many phone calls and many months to get a Pella service tech to look at a client window problem. To make matters worse, I personally called to confirm the appointment a few days prior and the person at Pella had not only the wrong street number, but the wrong product and the wrong phone number. NOTE: this home is in a rural location and there were no other appointments on that day for this area. After going around in circles with this person on the phone she finally said she didnt know what had happened but now she had to RESCHEDULE for yet another week. Waste of time. We like the products but the service is a disgrace.Your rating just went down to a one. For a company that depends on contractors and contractors depend on you to be able to finish projects before winter really sets in, it is absurd that the ONLY person in NM who can quote jobs AND the ONLY other person who can authorize the NTTC tax status have both taken off on vacation until the middle of October. Considering that it took us months to schedule a technician to just look at a job, I can only imagine that it will be Christmas before these people get their leaking window sash replaced! Get it together!! We are now only using Pella out of necessity.
From the in-home order session with Ted to the installation today by Ray and Jason (and supervisor Sean), everything was exemplary in professionalism and service. We highly recommend this business and Pella products!
We have high quality Pella windows on the home we purchased 5 years ago and recently I needed a replacement screen for one of the windows. I was easily put in touch with Dan Ervin when initially calling Pella, and he promptly addressed my issue and we efficiently communicated through email to order a replacement screen for the window. The screen came in and ended up being slightly too large, Dan showed exemplary customer service helping me get the correct size of screen ordered. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and have been grateful for Dans help at Pella Albuquerque!
Quick call back, very professional
The gentleman that came out to repair the door was great and did an excellent job. The young woman, who answers the phone and schedules, was the definition of snotty. I dont need attitude from a child, I almost told her nevermind but they were my only choice.
Horrible customer service. I recently moved into a home that has four sets of sliding Pella doors, without screen doors. I called to get a quote on screen doors and left three different messages yesterday and one again today. Finally, got a call back from a female service representative with an attitude. I tried to explained my situation and she interrupted me asking for my address. She then asked when the doors were installed, I had to repeat myself that I just moved onto the house. After providing my address, she said the address is not in the system and said I would have to pay $95 for a technician to come out and read the info on the door (plus $90 an hour.) I just wanted a price. And I cant read any info on the door myself? Looks like Ill be taking my business elsewhere for the four screen doors.
Have high praise for the service and administrative departments. We are very happy with the windows and would recommend Pella Windows. They have satisfactory addressed any concerns we had. The technician was professional and courteous. The replacement parts were free of charge. THANK YOU PELLA.
Pella Albuquerque offered a great experience when buying windows for my historic house renovation. They matched the Lowes hardware store price and got the windows built in a fraction of the time it takes Lowes orders. Very high quality and excellent customer service. James was very helpful and accommodating for a small project with a high maintenance owner (me!) and provided all of the options requested. The wood windows are beautiful and a good historic match for my 1912 house. The warehouse and showroom staff was polite, courteous, and loaded the windows into my truck with care. I look forward to doing business with them again.
I purchased two Pella Series 350 Sliding Glass doors for my home. These replace two 60 year old windows. Mr. Gifford helped me with the selection. Mr. Muller, recommended by Pella performed the installation. The doors were delivered and install by Mr. Muller on the date agreed upon. As an old craftsman, Im picky. The installation was performed impeccably. The workmen hung plastic to keep dust out of the rest of the house and cleaned up the site after the work was completed. Im extremely pleased with the new doors. They add a modern look and feel to the rooms with blinds between the double pane glass. They block out heat & noise.
Purchased a Pella sliding glass door via Lowes as a replacement for an old exterior french door.GOOD: overall door quality seems good; solid design and construction.BAD: Door arrived with missing parts. Pella service department refused to give me or my contractor the time of day. I have honestly *never* experienced customer support/customer service as bad as we experienced. I really cant emphasize this enough. In addition to this, while the door overall seems of high quality (which was reflected in its relatively high cost), we did notice a lot of squeeze out of adhesive and/or sealer around the exterior perimeter of the glass where it is sandwiched in the door mounting.I would not go through Pella again based on the horrendous customer support/service. I would actively steer family and friends away as well.
Sadly, I think most people who are extremely happy with a job are the ones who dont comment. WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY with our Pella windows and sliding door. They are Gorgeous and made our home look like a dream! But mostly, I have to praise the installers led by Sean Crisman. If you want the best service youve ever had, ask for Sean! Not only did he talk in depth with us before the installation to hear the exacts of what we wanted, he was also open every day during the installation to anything that we didnt think was perfect, and he made it perfect for us in every way. (I never did receive a survey after the installation, must have gone to junk mail ... this should be fixed, perhaps send one by snail mail as well.) We received an excellent sales pitch that was no pitch at all, just an easy discussion with Ted -- the way we like it, no pressure! The company kept us informed all the way to the end of the job. We Absolutely cant be happier! And the windows and sliding door are all that we hoped they would be with a beautiful green tint, silencing most all road noise, and conserving energy as well as no more drafts!
Ive purchased Pella windows, doors, and storm doors at considerable cost. The windows are great except for the crank hardware which is incredibly cheap. The 1-star review, however, is for a storm door that was poorly installed, slammed open in the wind, tore the poorly/improperly installed bolts right out, leaving the door unusable. They charged me about $120 to come out and refused to do any work! They suggested I file a warranty claim with the manufacturer of the storm door (not Pella, despite being Pella branded, and Pella sold) and to contract with someone else to fix it. More than a year later I still dont have a functional screen door. BEWARE hiring Pella for installation, which is also incredibly expensive. Aside from the window hardware, the windows are good quality. Summary: VERY high prices, good quality (sometimes), potentially very poor installation, and VERY poor follow-up service after they have your money. Recommend seeking out local manufacturers that **stand by their product** and installation.
Sean and his crew were always on time, and very professional.
I had a Pella window fixed. In the process of fixing it by Pella, they accidentally broke a part of the window frame. they took the piece off, replaced it temporarily, stained a new piece to match the window and replaced it perfectly with the new piece. Bravo...Im a BIG FAN!!!
0n 4/15/20, I valued Service. Eric Martinez, Service Technician arrived on time at our home, listened carefully about my concerns and then used his experience to solve my problem thereby saving me a costly repair bill. Eric also took the time to check each of my Pella doors and made adjustments if needed. Thank you Eric.
Dan and Karla were awesome! Excellent service! I was in and out in about 5 minutes and couldnt have felt better knowing I was dealing with true professionals. Thanks!Frank
Very pleased with Pella replacement windows, doors and between the glass shades. The quality of the products is excellent and the Pella installers from the Albuquerque branch are always on-time, courteous and tidy - today, TJ did a couple of repairs under warranty (no charge for parts): good to see a company standing behind their products and being responsive like this. All aspects of interactions with the *Albuquerque* branch on Singer have been excellent: estimating, pricing, scheduling, and installation. Glad we chose to work with Pella in Albuquerque and would definitely recommend this business.
I was there this morning searching out a part for a couple of patio doors for an older friend. I was so impressed by the kindness shown to me and the expert advice. The parts I needed were no charge. My friends are thinking of replacing a few windows. I will recommend they go to the Pella store on Singer in Albuquerque.
From the initial inspection visit (by TJ), through the ordering process (by Condessa) (2 warranty replacement windows, 2 sets of rollers for sliding glass doors and a replacement screen door movement part) and the final installation/adjustment step TJ the process was professional and friendly. I give Pella Windows and Doors of Albuquerque the highest possible rating and recommend them without hesitation. If/when I need more windows or sliding doors I will contact them without hesitation. Note, we live in Santa Fe but Pella Windows and Doors of Albuquerque made the whole process smooth and painless.
I can’t say enough about the fantastic service I continually receive from Pella of Albuquerque. I’ve dealt with Contessa (multiple times) and two different service technicians over the past year. Each and every time I am pleasantly surprised with their positive and professional service. That is what compelled me to write this review. They always arrive when they say they will and come prepared. Their communication is top notch and always follow through until the job complete. Contessa always speaks with a smile in her voice and really seems to enjoy her work. Pella management, you should feel proud to know that your employees are giving Pella a great name.
We used Pella for the first time back in 2000. Fast forward to 2019, noticed a bit of crazing on the windows. Call their service company, they came out assessed a low E failure. To my surprise, they replaced all the windows and doors free of charge. Every aspect of my experience, starting with Lisa Cash in sales to TJ who replaced all the windows. Absolute professionalism from everybody within the organization. We have used them on three other projects since then, but my confidence in my window choices has never been higher.
Have a 25 year old Pella Patio Door and needed a part. Tyler the technician researched, found the part and had it sent to me fed ex at no charge. WOW I didnt know good customer service existed any more yet alone amazing customer service. Way to go Pella and Tyler.
Last night, one of our Pella sliders suddenly wouldnt lock and we were leaving town in two days. Contessa of Pella called at 8 am this morning and arranged for Eric of Pella to fix the slider. He arrived about 8:30 am and had our door fixed in a few minutes. We appreciate Pella SERVICE!
Great service today by the replacement window crew installing 6 windows and repairing the sliding screen in the door. Quick, thorough, and fine installation. Kudos!!
My family and I worked with James G. to get windows installed in a cabin weve been remodeling. Excellent, professional service; couldnt ask for better. He went above and beyond taking care of our questions and issues.
Dan continues to provide quality service throughout the life of my professionally installed French doors. Excellent service after the sale. Satisfied customer since 2006.
We decided to move with Pella and glad we did!! From our sales rep Logan to the project manager Antionete, to the installer team run by Shawn we couldnt be happier! It is absolutely amazing not only how quick but the quality of workmanship completed. Our house looks amazing and to top it off all our rooms are now the same temperate through out. Before installing the Pella windows we had 7-10 degree difference from one side of the house to the other. To say we are pleased is simply an understatement!!! Thank you Pella, and thank you to the Pella team in Albuquerque!!!!
The service department was very responsive.
Service department is horrible LIFETIME WARRANTY READ THE FINE PRINT ITS FAKE 100 service feeafter 2 years how is that warranty Im paying for the service slcustomer service needs training asap look at all these bad reviews about your attitude contessa is rude and Dan the manager is ok with it
Pella honored our warranty and took care of repairing a broken window at no additional cost to us. I was very happy with the outcome.
Nick and Xavier did a great job installing 2 BR windows. They were very professional.
Called to see about purchasing replacement between the glass shades for my 12 year old windows. Talked with Dan. Pleasantly surprised when he offered to do so under warranty. Great service!
Nice show room. Went there to get a part, service was fine.
Reference Service Event #59220Pella Windows & Doors Southwest came out to replace the two bottom rollers on our 20 year old Pella patio door that was becoming hard to open & close. The next morning the door wouldnt move at all. I called and they came out again and readjusted the rollers. The next day I noticed that the door was tilted to one side in the door frame and not sealing well - I can see ~1/2 of the weather stripping at the top of the inside door jamb, and none at the bottom. I have called Pella Windows & Doors Southwest several times to have the door adjusted properly and they will not return my call.I love the Pella windows & doors we have. The service, not so much.
Great experience at Pella today. First time experience and we received excellent service. Thank you for all of your help today with our screens!!
These ppl are shamefully over rated. And over priced and one of the independent contractor that is employed by them is def. A real A+ Self centered, tip taking, no raise giving, expects you to work for slave wages gives no lunches or breaks but yet has 2 brand new Rams. So Pella the product in itself is good. Its a shame that nepotism runs deep. Wish I went to college with a owner of a company and just be able to be aholes to everyone and get away with it.
Top shelf all the way.
A special thank you to the Pella crew, TJ and Pablo, and the coordinator of the work and materials, Contessa. The work was done quickly and professionally. I want to also thank Daniel for his assistance.
Were delighted with the quality of the four windows we bought with the guidance of James Gifford. He helped us choose what we needed to replace windows on our hundred-year-old adobe!
Horrible on the phone customer service so far. I have a sliding glass door that is under warranty--and I fully understand that the product is covered but not the labor to repair it. I get that. But they will not allow me to discuss specific on the phone, or even to come into the show room etc to discuss the problem. They will only discuss repairs by charging me $95 to come look at it. Really! So a technician will probably come to the house--spend 5 mins seeing how the paint on the door has faded to white (it was gray) and tell me I need to replace the door. That is not good customer service or warranty performance.
The Pella service department(Dan and staff) are friendly, thorough and timely when it comes to even the little issues, like replacement screens. Thank you for your professionalism!
OUTSTANDING SERVICE from GREAT TECHNICIANS !!! TYLER really helped us out with tired windows & doors from 1999. He knows the old Pella models, works very quickly but carefully, is a pleasure to have on the job site, and always keeps his appointments! When the job required two people, he brought along another good guy, TJ. These guys wont disappoint you. I just hope the owner does whatever it takes to keep them happy and on the payroll -- it would be to everyones benefit - the customers, Tyler & TJ, and Pella !!
Excellent customer service...from Karla to Dan to Pablo ....great product and great company
Best Windows..doors..service ..install..people...A+++A company that will be here tomorrow and beyond...
Unfortunately people walking thru my screen door at house parties had become common place at our home. I have Pella on speed-dial (e-mail) and they are very responsive. It can be difficult to find part numbers, but they will talk you thru it. Daniel Ervin has been especially helpful the last couple of orders. I told him my husband was VERY experienced at putting the door back on the track between dogs and guests walking thru ours. They let us pick the door up rather than have it delivered and installed as long as we took responsibility for any damage upon installation; completely understandable and reasonable. Thank you!!
Dan in customer service was very helpful!
I have received outstanding service from Tim and Dan even though I live in Colorado. Would definitely recommend them.
I couldnt have ask for better service and at a more than reasonable price.
Customer Service was great. One call and my problem was solved within 5 minutes.
So pleased that the Pella people were able to help us with a Pella screen door and window opener we were having trouble with this month.
They give rollers away for warranty service on their sliders.
Many clients like this brand, we work with most any company to get our clients what they want.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Have been trying to contact customer service to set up appointment since last week they finally call while I was at work. They aid to call back and all I get is a voice mail.
Buy Marvin they suck not one of my windows or doors were correct and they could care less
Great service!
Great company!!!
Ok
