I found a MK mens overcoat online that I was interested in but I wanted to try it on so I thought Id stop here after my shift to see if it was available. I work retail myself and take pride in making sure each and every person that comes in knows they are welcome and that we are there to help them. Then imagine my shock when, still dressed nicely from work, I entered to be greeted by a worker who gazed at me with judgmental scorn for daring to enter her little fiefdom. She clearly felt I didnt belong there. Then when I asked about trying on the coat in question she seemed unfamiliar with the term and once I asked if they had mens coats she flatly said no (no explanation) so I told her to have a nice day at which point she finally smiled. As I was leaving I looked back to make sure the door had closed and she was rolling her eyes and shrugging with such exaggeration that I was completely taken aback. She then went back to fidgeting with her astonishingly average handbags. If I can shop for tees and hats at luxury Italian car dealers, some of whose cars cost more than this stores entire yearly inventory and despite clearly not being able to afford them, still be made to feel like family, then there is absolutely ZERO excuse for this sort of behavior. Will never purchase an MK product and will make sure all my networks know not to shop here unless they want to be looked down on.

The main reason for me to give this rating is the poor customer service they deliver. They look at you and evaluate if you seem to have the funds to make the purchase or not. I’ve have always disagreed with this high end name brands. In my personal opinion you don’t have to be fly all the time sometimes you just want to dress casual and go shopping. They make sure that you do not feel welcomed. I feel they should revamp there customer service with every client that steps inside that store because at the end of they day they make there additional pay checks from customers like you and I. Now for the brand Michael Kors I love it for myself and to mainly purchase gift I try to avoid the store but sometimes you gotta go in. I mainly try to do purchases online rather in person. Love the brand but not the customer service.

First time going in and the lady was welcoming and very helpful :) but I just dont like the fact that it seems like they judge people by what they wear or look like when they come in the store. If you dress good, theyll greet you good and help you but if you look like someone who cant afford MK they wont even welcome them.No need to act like youre better than the rest. Youre just a simple employee like at any other store.

Ive been shopping around for a MK purse for a while now waiting for the right time to actually buy one. I read the reviews before setting out on my adventure today and made this my last stop. Im so happy I did! It was 8:35pm on a Friday night when I walked in and I had been to Cottonwood and Coronado at this point. I figured I was going to get horrible service but to my surprise Mayalin stopped what she was doing and helped me. She was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I worked in retail for about 5 years and I know what its like to have someone walk in the last half hour. When I told her I was buying this as a graduation present for myself she offered to box it up so it was really like a gift. Im very grateful for the time she spent with me. I was extremely happy with the service and most of all delighted to finally have the MK purse Ive been wanting.

The sales assistants have always been fantastic here: they have an excellent eye for picking up on your personal style and what catches your interest in the store, then suggest items you missed when you walked through. Without being pushy, I might add. Plus, the wonderful lady who helped me pick out dresses on my last visit had an uncanny eye for size: everything she brought to my fitting room fit, even though the actual size tags differed depending on whether a dress ran small or large. Added bonus - they put my husband in a big comfortable chair, brought him something to drink, and kept him happy so that I could shop till I - well - dropped...P.S. Contrary to what a reviewer below said, there’s no federal law mandating a store this size to give customers access to their employee restroom unless the customer has a medical card on him/her proving a medical necessity for immediate restroom use. Having a four-year-old doesn’t qualify.

I would NEVER recommend going to the Michael Kors store in the Uptown Plaza in Albuquerque, NM. I was very excited to visit this store because I was planning on buying a purse for my birthday. I young Asian girl was very nice and helped me try out different bags for about twenty minutes. I finally found one that I really liked but it had a little dirty spot on the inside of the purse. I asked if she could clean it off. She tried but the smudge was still there. The purse was on sale but I was still hesitant to spend several hundred dollars on something that wasnt perfect. Another young man with terrible skin came up to me and started to bully me by saying things like if you dont want the bag I have someone on the phone right now who wants it. I asked if he was serious and he said that this client of his had called the night before and and wanted the the exact bag that I was looking at which was the last in the store. I then asked how his client was on the phone right at that moment but had actually called the night before and he said it was an order on hold in the back but they had forgotten to pull the bag from the floor. He kept changing his story and finally the girl who had originally been helpful started to get a mean attitude too and started saying things like if you dont want the bag thats fine, well give it to someone else. I couldnt believe the attitude of these employees! They were so rude and unkind! I decided that no bag is worth having someone treat me like that so I handed it back to the girl and said I didnt appreciate them trying to bully me by being rude and trying to pressure me. It was a very unpleasant experience. I went to Macys and purchased a purse there and the staff were wonderful. I would NEVER recommend going to the Michael Kors store in the Uptown Plaza in Albuquerque, NM.

The gentleman who helped me I believe David was extremely helpful. He presented so many options for me based on what I was looking for, it was like having a filter when you shop online.

Just got done mother day shopping here, and was very pleased with service I received. Wish I would of caught young girls name that helped me (petite blonde). But she was super helpful and knowledgeable. They had even told me the price for the smart watch I was buying. then came back Informed me it was actually cheaper than they had originally told me! She resized the watch and gift wrapped it the way I wanted! Thank you for a fast a pleasant experience in a store I no nothing about!Ps. Im a early 30s man with tattoos and I didnt feel they stereotyped me at all. Even allowed my 3 year old daughter to use the restrooms with no hesitation.

Ive never been stared at so rudely we werent even greeted i wanted to buy a purse but after the rude looks we got i just decided to walk out.

My husband and I went to this location today to buy not 1, not 2, but 3 items and to say that Im disappointed by the customer service and staff is an understatement. While waiting 15 minutes for one sales representative to see if they had 2 particular bags I wanted in stock, we we approached not by 1, but 2 other individuals; 1 of whom was the manager on duty. As we waited another 15 minutes to see yet again if said items were in stock, my 4 year old son, yes 4 years old, need to use the restroom. Clearly asking to use a restroom needs a manager approval as the sales representative scurried off to check with her manager to see if my toddler son can use said bathroom. As we waited for manager approval We overheard said manager say no, he cant use the restroom because I dont want to clean it up after him. Little known to the manager we overheard him telling his rep this. When the rep returned she stated its store policy to not let customers use the bathroom due to theft. My husband explained that its federal law to have restroom for customers available. Needless to say we walked out of this store not purchasing any items. I WILL not buy from this store or Michael Kors for that matter.

My review has been deleted several times now. The employees at this location are beyond rude and snobby, to the point that it reflects horribly on the brand as a whole. The several young employees that work here all have the same attitude; giving you a once over as you walk in, trying to bully you into buying, and insulting you to try to pressure you into upgrading. They act as if theyre selling couture gowns in Paris, rather than slightly upscale bags in Albuquerque, New Mexico, of all places. Snobby and unpleasant. Every time Ive come to this location, Ive been insulted, ranging from being told my current bag is tired, needs an update, and having a male employee grab my purse and tell me its scratched and in bad shape. Would never, ever buy from here and contribute to their commission.

They were able to order the purse my wife wanted for Xmas from Houston and have it delivered quickly.

Staff ignored us for 10-15 mins and state law requires you to give customers access to restrooms. But when you claim that its store policy that restrooms are for staff only when I over hear your manager say I dont want to clean it so your going to have to clean it. I claim BS. I will never patron this store or any other Michael Kors for the rude and incompetent staff. I will spend my money at Coach or Louis Vuitton.

Me and my wife frequently shop there and every time we are in there the sales girl named Tatyana seems to rush us and talk to much and makes us feel uncomfortable and judges us on the clothes we wear....That is not good customer service....She also one time turned to another employee and mouthed and rolled her eyes shes bugs....and all of the employees seem to judge on how you are dressed.....I will not recommend this store..
