Such a cute spot! Stopped in to grab a drink and we decided we had to get chocolate too!! I got an iced matcha with oat milk which was great. I like that they offer it unsweetened since some places do not. We bought a box of truffles to take home and they were delicious. The service was very nice and helpful.

AMAZING chocolate. I usually get the salted dark chocolate caramels. To die for! They offer both coffee and tea (herbal and caffeinated options). I prefer the peppermint tea, but I have had anything else. Highly recommend! Oh yeah, you get free WiFi too if you’re a paying customer, so it’s a nice peaceful place to hang out and munch on sweets.

We had a pleasant experience at this location. It was very cozy inside and the workers were all very friendly and welcoming. They also made recommendations for their favorite chocolates. We had the rum and champagne truffles, sea salt caramel, while chocolate peanut butter and also a coffee. Definitely recommend visiting this location.

They have delicious products. Super nice people who work with you when you want something special. My fiance goes nuts for the chocolate pie. I would love to see it as a pre-order option all year long, I would buy it for every special occasion.

The girl working there was very nice. My husband said his rice crispy treat was amazing. For me personally though, I wasnt really impressed. There is literally nothing special about the chocolate. It lacks any noticeable qualities. Their fudge is the most boring fudge ive ever had. Disappointing.

It’s funny that a place that serves coffee opens at noon. 🤣. But man this place is great. Their peanut butter cups are crunchy, how wonderfully unexpected. Their staff is kind and friendly, parking is convenient, and their chocolate is phenomenal. We have tried the nut clusters, Pb cups, candy apples, a few truffles, and one chocolate bar, most in milk and dark chocolate. Absolutely sensational. Nuts are very fresh as well. This will probably become our go-to since we really want to support local. Also a round of applause for a much more eco friendly experience than I’ve had at other chocolatiers. Each piece of candy, or few pieces we selected was wrapped a plain piece of tissue paper, candy bars are in foil and paper, and entire order was set in a brown bag that was already made from recycled paper. Bravo! The only plastic wrap I saw was on fudge and cookies. I assume so they don’t dry out. We WILL be back!♥️

Literally the best chocolate place Ive been to. Me and my girlfriend go crazy for the white chocolate matcha bars and and literally any of the apples. Highly recommend it.

The Mexican Mocha is excellent, a real pleasure to my palate! We had some peanut butter fudge we watched being prepared yesterday- it was moist and delicious! It is worth stopping in to try something chocolate!

Awesome local place to visit if youre interested in fancy chocolate. The owner is a very nice person and they also offer a student discount to UNM students. Ive tried a little of everything here over the years and they never disappoint. Also a great place to go to if you need chocolate covered strawberries for VDay.

The Baby Boomer music and memorabilia clash with the hip design and very good, hand crafted chocolate. I think of 60s as the era of really bad, industrial manufacturing of candy. This is much more unique and artisanal. Still, nice place to check out.

Not sure why Chocolate places like to go for the heavy wood decor... reminds me of how Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is decorated... and in many ways they are the same... upscale chocolate delights... things like exotic candy apples and orange slices dipped in chocolate... however they turn it up with great coffee and great service

I wanted to visit a dessert place that wasnt focused on ice cream or cookies, and I stumbled upon this one. The coffee and chocolate mix is awesome! The atmosphere is peaceful, and the service was great! We loved the truffles, chocolate dipped strawberries and everything.

The smell of chocolate delight fills your nose the moment you walk in the door. A friendly person is there to greet you. They have a great assortment of chocolate treats to choose from. I highly suggest a vist!!!

Great atmosphere, fun retro vibe with old school lunchboxes scattered about and fun old school posters. Yummy chocolate, great London Fog tea and pleasant service. Cleanest bathroom Ive seen down on Central, and all that makes for, Id go back and bring more friends too. We ordered their dark chocolate stacked marshmallows on a stick, and I got the milk chocolate toffee with almonds. Yum!!

Incredible store! The atmosphere is inviting, the staff are friendly, and the selection- TO DIE FOR! (Unless, of course, they dont let you take the chocolate with you-- you wouldnt be able to rest in peace without it). A must-visit on nob hill, and even if you dont usually go to that part of town, it is definitely worth your while!

They are remodeling so it wasnt even open, parking was a hassle so it wouldve been nice if that was stated on their website, will try visiting again but Ill give it a couple months so its not a waste of time.

Theyve got a delicious selection of chocolate covered everything and chocolate drinks. My favorite are the chili lime chocolate covered mango. My fiance like the chocolate covered marshmallows. Favorite drink is the Mexican latte! They also have pre-packed gift boxes. The staff is always friendly!

I take all my tinder and bumble dates here. The chocolate selection is fantastic new twists on old favorites. I found it by accident one night with an ex and just love coming back to a place open late that feels homey and personable. The guy that runs this is incredibly friendly and the staff might be strangers but they dont feel that way. I came here after a hard day at work one day for a pick me up, I was crying and everything was uber difficult that day the owner gave me a discount it felt great to know that people in the city know that working in special education with kids with behavior disorders is no walk in the park. This is a place that has great chocolate, great drinks mostly coffee but also a great Italian soda and a great vibe. I recommend this to anyone local and as a place to meet someone you dont know yet.

I didnt even have to go inside to receive excellent service! I was working a parking job, in the cold, just around the corner from Chocolate Dude, when all of a sudden a guy in an apron approached me handing me a hot cup of some good coffee and freshly made pecan brittle. Stay warm, man, he said with a smile on his face.

After a solid string of pleasant visits, we went and employees were super rude. Ignored us while we waited at the cashier. Gave you guys a free pass and returned, we’ve been buying Christmas and birthday gifts for a long time and that had never happened.The second time was the same attitude. Short, curt, and extremely rude. I don’t want to shop somewhere local where my business is not valued and my presence is annoying to employees. Will be trying Buffett’s from here on out.

Ever since ChocolateDude opened, it has been my favorite place for everything chocolate! From morning stops for coffee, stops after date nights, or even drop ins to pick up some gifts for coworkers, friends, and family, the quality has always been consistent and delicious! The staff are friendly and clearly dedicated and passionate about what they do.The shop, employees, and owner are also very clearly invested in the community of Nob Hill and Albuquerque as a whole. They always provide ample donations to charity events and actively participate in Nob Hill clean up days. Kurt even sits on the board of Nob Hill Main Street!I might be a bit bias (given that Kurt is my uncle) but this place is amazing! I always make a point to take out of state guests from college here and Im proud to tell people I know that Im related to such a wonderful business owner in New Mexico.As for the products, I recommend the apple pie caramel apple, a caramel apple rolled in sugar (Sam makes them upon request for me), dark chocolate sea salt caramel, chocolate covered strawberries, and the lattes.

I cannot get over how great my experience is everytime i come here! Everyone is always so nice and happy to talk and ready to help. Coffee menu is simple and coffee is great; chocolate selection is huge and its all amazing. Personally love the Zozobra.

Hands down the best hot chocolate and caramel apples I have ever had. They make the hot chocolate by scooping fresh chocolate right out of the mixer into a cup before adding steamed milk 😍 They have extremely friendly staff and I love the atmosphere.

Chocolate Dude- great location is why this place is still open- chocolate is goog -staff is friendly- place is never busy- they always act like they are not ready or wanting customers- staff looks bored- they dont really do anything crazy out of the box creations but they hold down some of the classic truffles-bark-cups etc-not bad by any means but I think they are falling behind the hip food culture of today

High quality unpretentious chocolates made right there. If youre tired of trendy twists and want simple, elegant, well executed sweets, this is the place.

As much as I dont care for the name, they make fudge and chocolates the equal of any boutique chocolatier in larger cities, I suspect there is little or no use of the loathsome chemicals used in mass produced candy. Ignore the silly name and visit!
