One of the worst Firestones I have been to. We had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation took 2 hours. The staff was rude and unfriendly. The girls at the front desk were too busy talking to the mechanics to help anyone. They insist on customers wearing masks but the mechanics arent and they are in your vehicle. The gentleman that was there at the same time as us waited about an hour and half to get one tire put on and was still waiting when we left. Will not return to this location. Sent email to the reply and never heard back. Continues to show how much they truly care about their customers. Dont use this location!

They fixed my car in a pinch and in under 5mins when they where about to close. Super friendly and awesome life savers.

This Firestone location seemed different upon arrival bit they still offer the same level of customer service. Ive been going to this location for years....they are always very helpful(that means a lot-especially to the senior community)

Every time I go here for an appointment for something simple as an oil change or alignment and every time I show up for my appointment, I’m told that it’s going to be multiple hours until it’s ready.Today, I was specific when I showed up that I had plans and got the time estimate which was an hour. All the bays were empty and the technicians were available. I made sure she knew again that if it wasn’t an hour and a half, that I would need to reschedule and she told me they would pull my car in right now and get started on it.45 minutes later I look up and my car is STILL in the parking lot, and I go to ask her again and she gave me excuses about how they can’t start without a ticket from her. Which she never printed and gave to the technicians. And it would still be an hour from that point in time. So I asked for my key back and she handed me a key fob without my keychain… when I asked for my keychain back as well she said sorry, and switched out the key she handed me for MY actual key back.She had just handed me someone else’s car key.Also, worth mentioning is that while I was standing there waiting to speak to anyone, a phone call was answered that I overheard calling them to let them know that they had just left their location and had they’re car break down on their way home and are stranded in the middle of the street because they butchered whatever service they had performed. The employee informed the caller that he would immediately call a tow truck to pick them up. My perspective was this man hang up the phone, walk away, and over the next 10 minutes while I still stood there waiting for service, I never witnessed anyone call for a tow truck.The incompetence level was astonishing that I just drove my car half a mile down the street to Valvoline who immediately changed my oil and then informed me that the last time I had my oil changed, they had messed it up and stripped my oil pan. I confirmed with my window sticker that this same Firestone was the location of my last oil change.The ONLY reason I gave this location two stars is because the previous manager (who unfortunately is no longer there) was amazing and had provided me with incredible customer service. But now that even he is gone and I don’t trust them to even put air in my tires anymore, I felt it was necessary to warn others about this location.Drive the extra few minutes to anywhere but here. Trust me, it will be worth it!

My car rental was vibrating badly above 60. Rental company instructed me to take it to Firestone for appraisal because no replacement was available. It was my lunch hour so I went to Firestone which was packed. They took it in within the hour and assessed that the tires were in need of replacement and shocks were leaking. The company approved 4 tires and Firestone got it done in 3 hours.

I took my car in to get some work done to fix a leak and get an oil change. When I picked up the car, my dash board that was working fine was not lighting up. This was not anissue AT ALL when I dropped it off. The manager Bill claims it was an issue when I dropped it off, this is FALSE. They said the master tech saw it when they did the car inspection, however they NEVER mentioned it to me when they called for an update on the repairs. Thing is, the master tech was able to get the mileage off the car, however that would have been impossible since the dashboard displays the mileage and apparently it was an issue when they started working on the car straight lies. They broke it and would not fix it, but referred me back to the dealership. All this after I dropped $600 on a repair there. Do not go, they are not honest and they broke more then they fixed.

I took in my truck thinking they would fix the Problem I was having with my brakes. And I was told the problem with my brakes was rear drums were worn out but I was having a vibration when I would break on my steering wheel. And since I had replaced the front brakes with fire stone less than four months earlier they refused to say that was the problem. So I took my truck to three different shops to get another opinion and they all told me my front rotors were warped fire stone only wanted me to replace my rear drums when at the other shops they said there was nothing wrong with my rear drums. But fire stone wanted to charge me almost $800 for work that did not need to be done.I will never return to fire stone again and I would recommend to anybody do not shop at fire stone.!!!!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I had work done for less than half and it works great now.The shop I WILL RECOMMEND is (One Stop on Eubank just north of Central) the staff at One Stop is honest and very Informative. And they keep you updated throughout the work that is being done on your vehicle by even taking pictures for you.

I went in for a noise. They said it was a A/C clutch but wouldnt warranty the work unless I replaced the whole A/C system. They quoted me $1800 plus $161 to recharge. I asked about the warranty and they said 2 years.I get there and the total is $2200. And tried to only give me a year warranty. They charged me 9 hours Firestone hours of labor, but called me at 10:30am. for the quote. The actual labor time was 5 hours. I got the call to pick it up at 5:15pm. Then they told me the warranty was only q2 months!!!!It just seems odd that their prices went up, and warranty went down!

I had my light engine on and decided to go to Firestone as they were the closest around and I thought such an old company would do a good job. It took for ever for them to diagnose the issue and then the $1000 repair was revealed. I had gone there before for a basic inspection and I had heard that number before for struts replacement that I didnt think I needed and which I didnt do. The intake manifold had to be replaced, this time around. I asked why it couldnt be fixed and they told me immediately, no. So, because Im new in town, I paid $99 for the diagnose (!!!) and had to comeback next day to leave the car for repair. I should have made my search, but at the time I didnt know the name of the part and simple thought it was what it was. When I delivered the car I got the part name and made my research. 12 mechanics in Albuquerque would honor a budget of $220 to $260 to repair the issue! I was furious with myself and even more with the rip off I was undergoing.When I got to the shop I asked for the part invoice and was shown one for $423. Firestone would add $300 on it as their profit, claiming that it would cover a 12 month warranty on it. A warranty for $300!!! I was charge $933, because they made me apply for their credit card (28% apr) and was promised a 10% discount. They wanted to give me 5% only. I complained and the manager gave me the 10%. Anyways, I believe I was overcharged by at least $200 (if one considers that from those $300, $100 is enough to pay for the warranty and some profit)

I went in 5 minutes before they closed with a flat tire. I was prepared to leave my car in their parking lot overnight, and find a way home and back the next day. Instead they stayed late and took care of me. I just want to give them a shout out and let them know how grateful I am that they did that. Theyve earned my business for as long as I live in the area.

I scheduled an appointment at 6p. I showed up and I was ignored for a while. When I finally spoke with someone, they told me to just park my car and they would check me in. I waited for about another hour and still no answer. They close at 7 so I left. I think it would be best to tell me they couldn’t see me today instead of leaving me hanging. 😞

Stopped by to patch a nail in my tire at 4pm. They had 3 people working the desk inside. Turns out they only had one technician working on cars. Made no sense at all. Instead I went to discount tire and got it patched almost immediately. I have never had good service at Firestone and I wont stop by again, even for something as simple as patching a tire.

Brought truck in for front end alignment. Was told it needed a 300 dollar ball joint. Before they could do alignment. Truck still pulls to the right, I dont think they adjusted anything. Just up sold me a part I didnt need. Got stuck paying 500.00 for almost nothing.I would not recommend this company. Trying to get a phone call to them but it just rings.

I am so happy Firestone was open on Labor day. I have an older model jeep that was acting sketchy on my drive home to California. They saw my jeep first thing in the morning and noticed my oil cap was missing *not the reason I came in for * but thankful it was brought to my attention before driving another 1000 miles. Ive always trusted Firestone, regardless of the location, ive never had a bad experience. Thank you!!

I went there for a flat tire repair and they advertised free flat repair. The tire was of the car and in the trunk. The staff was nice but when I recieved the bill it was 21 something before even looking at the car. Not bad but there shouldnt have been a cost and the guy behind the desk said We dont fix flats for free here. Odd being their sign outside said otherwise.

Appointment made, cancelled by Firestone 5 mins before time of appointment. Drove 94 miles on only day off for treatment like this.

Incompetent tech took 6hrs to ruin the first bearing, fail the second attempt as well (bearing died at 4K mi) and even left my engine air filter sitting on top of the open compartment under the hood.

They said they could do all 3 things I needed. Thats why I picked them. They lied. Said they couldnt do my alignment. And refused to take it to their other shop. My app was for 8 am. Didnt even start till 5 pm

In a time of crisis and nation wide shutdown of the economy, I am glad we have places like firestone that continues to screw people over. I went in with a flat repair and upon waiting for 2 hrs, I was called and told that the nail was bent and to close to the sidewall so the tire needed replaced and they also suggest replacing the front 2 as well. Upon arriving I asked if the tire would make it home only to find out they never pulled the nail or the tire stated the mechanic, he said I just needed new tires because they had no tread My tires are almost halfway through their life and have plenty of tread life. Its so great that we have Americans and businesses like this that are still out to screw people when money is tight due to nation shutdowns. God Bless Firestone.🇺🇸

Horrible every single time I come here they do everything they can to not help you. I have a warranty that I bought that they couldn’t find in the system. I called them to give them a number off the paper with my warranty on it and they said forget it. Then I said “but you can’t find me in the system?” He said It’s fine come over and we will just fix it for you. I go over while I’m off work and then they can’t help me because“I’m not in the system” I’m like that’s why I called to see if you guys will help me or not before I get there and now they can’t help me. I just drove right out and went next door to discount tire as we speak getting new tires. Go anywhere but firestone. The manager didn’t care he seems like he’s tired of his job. Discount tire has always looked out for me.

Purchased a couple of tiers on line for a good price. When I schedule the appointment and took my truck in I was told no problem we will have it done in a few hours. However I received a call shortly after returning home that they dont have the size I ordered and they were to substitute a better tiers for the same amount. They lied. My cost was over $125.00 from the original order. And they kept denying theyre were too meet the same price. Buyers beware!

On My way home from work, I blew out a tire by running over a sharp rock. After slapping on my little donut of a tire, I called them to see if they had any room for me to bring my car in. I work about 80 miles in the middle of nowhere so the drive took almost 2 hours to get there and when I did, even though they were OBVIOUSLY slammed, the gentleman at the front desk said if they had a cancelled apointment or a no show I could take their place. To my dismay no one cancelled, BUT they stayed late and got me great tires. I was so appreciative I had them do all four since it was a quick fix and also I wanted to give them better business for what they were doing. Some people may not have had the same experience, but mine was amazing.

Beyond disappointed in this Firestone, and Ive been going here for 15 years... With every car I buy, I always purchase the lifetime alignment from Firestone. Once upon a time, they were fast and reliable. Those days are long over. I scheduled an appointment three days in advance to have my alignment done after replacing the front struts. All seemed well when I showed up for my appointment as there was only one other person in the waiting room and I was given NO indication that service was delayed. 1 HOUR and 20 MINUTES AFTER I ARRIVED and the car had been in the bay NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE.... the technician named G alerted me that he was UNWILLING to do the alignment because he thought I had a bad bushing in the tie rod. Nice staff but when you set up services are online it is a waste of time because some services arent provided on Sundays and the website still lets you schedule it. And no one calls to tell you ahead of time. So you get to the store and they tell you they cant you do it that day and you have to reschedule.

Go elsewhere, its a big city with lots of other options for the type of work they do here. I made an appointment, they had my vehicle for 5 hours and didn’t touch it. What a waste of time.

Took my Honda Pilot in for a diagnostic at 9am, got a call by 11am with a diagnosis and car was fixed by 1:30pm. Super fast. Best of all the repair came in at the low end of the average prices. Great experience!

Went in convinced that there was something wrong with my brakes due to squeaking. They checked them out and reported nothing wrong, everything looks good They could easily have lied, made some money off me.

It took them almost two days to diagnose my car needed spark plugs. When i told them that was more than likely what was wrong with it. Not to mention I had to call them multiple times to get any feedback. First time that i called them they had my vehicle for half of the day and the guy said well we cant figure out whats wrong within 20 minutes.Then they wanted to charge me a grand total of about $250 to replace one spark plug. And almost $1100 to replace all six with wires and rotary cap! .. WowGranted I understand in my vehicle you have to take off the manifold on my engine to get to the plugs. But if you are already there why gouge me for another $1000 to replace the other 5? Even with wires and cap that cost $100 at the most for parts?This place is a total rip off and Apparantly they dont have much regard for customer service.If you need something simple like an oil change then sure they are great. If you need some real work done find another mechanic.

I walked in because I had a oil change coupon. Best whim I ever had. The staff has been absolutely amazing. I had several issues and we planned on getting them all done in stages. I cant thank them enough for working with me. They kept me informed and comfortable.Only discomfort I had was the seating. Not really meant for hours of sitting. I made the best of it and the tv was a pleasant distraction.I am looking forward to being a long term customer at this store because of the wonderful staff.

Had an appointment at 10:30am. It took 8 1/2 hrs. to do a brake inspection and fluid exchange, an a/c inspection, and change 1 light bulb? After being told I would have it by mid-afternoon, I then recieved a phone call at 3:00pm to tell me they had just gotten to looking at the vehicle and they would either need to keep it over night or finish some work on it now and return it tomorrow to have the rest done. I needed the vehicle for work so I had them do what they could now and Id pick it up around 5:30 (their estimated time of completion). I got a call at 5:00 saying they may need until 6:30 to finish. Sure, okay. At 6:00 I get a call we had some one walk in and had to take care of them real quick, well have your car done by 7:00. Really? Come on.If it werent for a particular employee or two and the reputation my family has with a particular mechanic; I would give zero stars but for that reason 2 stars seems suitable.UPDATE:Returned my car today at noon for the continued work. It was almost as if I was at a completely different store. Employees exhibited way more professionalism and my car was in and out; A/C fully functioning in 2 hrs. Almost a complete turn around from my experience just yesterday. For which I will give you a star back bringing you back to a solid 3 stars.After today, I believe the quality of customer care and timeliness may thoroughly depend on who is working that day. Either way it is done, and I will know who to look/ask for in the future.

This Firestone is awesome! I called after 6 and they snuck me in. They stayed open after hours to help me out. They’re also very honest. Went in for a tire and oil change. They told me my tires were good instead of running up the bill. This is my go to place from now on!

Went in for an oil changed and the bolt to my oil pan is stripped, I already knew that. The guy I spoke to at a different Fire Stone said its no big deal itll be about $40 to put a self tethering bolt. At this Fire Stone I was told I had to replace the entire oil pan for 700$. Talk about a heart attack when your told the oil change you need is 700$!! Yeah no. Staff was nice and friendly rotated my tires and let me know my battery was bad, which was replaced fast.

We were traveling from Phoenix, Az to Virginia when our van started making a funny noise. The guys at Firestone saw us right away, diagnosed the problem and started fixing it. They were so friendly and accommodating since we were traveling with a dog. Awesome service!

Terrible customer service. First time I’ve ever pulled up to a tire shop and get ignored by not just 1 but 7 employees!! All saw me, all avoided helping me out.there were bays available. Then someone else pulls up and gets waved into a bay, unbelievable! It’s like they pretended to not see a customer waiting. All tires shops around them were closed so I had to drive on the freeway to another shop across town. Thankfully made it safely. I will never go here and will never recommend it either.

I always had great customer service at the location in California I went to for years, and I am just as pleased with this location in Albuquerque! They were thorough, very friendly, and didnt try and sell me something I didnt need. I am very pleased and will be continuing to have all my service done at Firestone.

I made an appointment at 3:30pm on a Friday to have my tire repaired. They didnt pull my truck back in tell 4:00pm my truck was finally completed at 4:35 pm! They just replaced my tire because it couldnt be repaired! The lady at the front desk was very nice so the customer service was great she also waved a fee because of how long I was waiting there! ( I dont understand why there would be a fee because I purchased the road hazard warranty) but the gesture was great! Over all if I would have have known I was going to be there an hour after my appointment I would have given myself more time so I wouldnt have been late for the other appointments I made.

Initially they stripped the lug nuts on my car. Took it back and they replaced all of them!! Than went on to replace a brake light and license plate bulb at no charge. Nice to see some old fashion customer service of taking care of the problem. Went above and beyond to retain this happy customer. Will be back and will send others!! Excellent job team!!

Good service mostly. Guy at the front forgot to call me to let me know when my tires came in. Not normally such a big deal, but when I called later, instead of owning the mistake, told me the number I provided didnt work. Lost a star for that.

Heaven Mowles has helped me both times I’ve visited this location. Her professionalism, knowing her customers, and general interaction has exceeded and impressed my standards. I hope that she is recognized and compensated for her world class professionalism and work ethic. It really takes one person to make the experience, and she is an example of this service. Thank you for all you do for your company and team but most importantly what you do for your customers.

They were pretty good. Got a decent deal on new tires. Obviously they poked around my car and found some other things that needed to be fixed, but didnt berate me when I chose not to fix all of them. Service was very friendly. Got an appointment quickly. Took approx. 25% longer than they estimated, which was annoying.

We went in to have our front right side brake looked at. They did a full brake inspection and gave us an estimate for 525, which included brake fluid exchange. We opted not to have fluid changed meaning the estimate was for 422. Over an hour later and well into the job they told us that we had need of calipers and a brake shoe--they didnt notice that until they began working. Excuse me, did you or didnt you say you were doing a full brake inspection? And, when you gave us our estimate you didnt say there might be additional costs. Total projected additional cost? 545.00. Thus, according to them, the additional work needed exceeded estimate by over 100%. Completely unacceptable. We had them wrap it up, paid the 422 and left. I would never go back to this Firestone and am filing a BBB complaint and complaint with the State of New Mexico---I already contacted the District Office.If you want to go to an automotive service center that conducts business like this, by all means go ahead. We will never go back to them.

They made the appointment with me. I was 10 mins early for the appointment and they said I would have to drop my car off and I would have to pick it up the next day. The man was very professional I guess. The price was ridiculous anyways, I have 2 of my own tires and it would have costed $436 to buy 2 tires and to have 2 mounted and balance. The average mount and balance across the nation besides firestone is $20-30 while they are charging $50+. I have been a mechanic for 6 years and just didn’t have time to do it myself until they didn’t have time to do it for me either lol. What A joke... NOTE: the firestone at Montgomery will do the same job for $140 less. I did go there and they were way nicer, my appt was kept, and the man is an honest guy.

I have used this location for an extensive amount of work on a lemon of a vehicle and have always received excellent, timely services and very considerate individuals. This locations is by far the best Firestone or other name-brand automotive repair facility I have ever used. I am very grateful for their help and service and plan to use their store for all of my automotive needs.

Made an appt at 930am. When I came back at 11am they hadnt even touched my car. They explained a vehicle came in with a safety. However the entire garage was full of multiple vehicle, which were getting work on. All but mine. Anyways... I finally got a call around 1230 indicating my vehicle was finished. 930 to 1230 my car was with Firestone for an oil change and inspection.

1 tech working and no guarantee they would even get to my tire that day. Dont got time for games. Hire some people or close on Sundays.

Had a brake issue on the front end of a car that Firestone serviced the brakes on 4 years ago in Colorado. Showed up at this location, left the vehicle and they called me and machined the rotors and replaced the pads for free even though I had not purchased the rotors from them.Final cost out the door was $0. Excellent customer service, really pleased with how the whole transaction worked out. Thank you.

Needed to use the firestone in Albuquerque for a slow leak on one tire of the 6 we purchased at the Dacoma/Magnum location here in Houston before our RV trip. Albuquerque Juan Tabo took great care of us!

Ive retured to this firestone to address 2 tires that continue to go flat over days . they keep giving me lame reasons as to why they are going flat basically putting fault on me. Instead of fixing tire or better yet replacing tires before they are out of warranty. Ive spent too much time on this same issue over and over!

Very professional employees. Went in for an oil and they only tried to add on a tire rotation (which I know I did need) and everything was done in about an hour.

Very positive and professional, and competitive pricing - but prepare to clean up grease prints on your interior after service here. Better yet, plan for it and just cover the interior surfaces that will get touched.

I really needed an alignment for my truck. I went to 3 seperate locations. They did not assist me. Not only did they waste my valuable time, they had poor customer service! Management was extremely unhelpful. Very bad business!

Could not honor appointment time. Could not do my alignment because they said my struts were loose. Tried to upsell me with new struts at a very high price. I already knew that my struts are old but alignment could still be done. I then took my car and went to another Firestone on the west side of town and they did my alignment without any issues. Check my other review for the other Firestone place.

I like this Firestone. But it always seems like appointments are always taken. They were quick to change are tires and they have coffee and water in their waiting room. Were planning to get are A/C checked out here if we can get a appointment. And hopefully they do a better job than the Menaul location but in worse case scenario if we dont get a appointment we might have to give the Menaul location a nother shot.

Got two new tires, plus lifetime alignment. Once they got the car up on the lift, they gave me a list of four things I had to do... One was replace a bend idler arm, the other was they had to remove some knockout plugs... For a total of $1187. I went to my trusted mechanic, and there was no bent idler arm, and the knockout plugs dont even come with my make and model of car. THIS IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF!!!! I will never go to this Firestone again!
