Dox Auto Repair is reliable, fast and affordable. I had the best experience at Dox Auto Repair, Doc and Caprice who run the repair shop worked with me to get my car fixed, they are wonderful people who are friendly and vary professional. I dropped the car off a little after eight am and the car was back in my driveway by eleven am. It was so fast to get the problem solved and now works great. It was a very fair price and wonderful experience; I highly recommend Dox.

Life savers! We were traveling through and our ac went out on us during a 15 hour drive. It was horrendous and we still had 15 more hours of traveling. We got to Albuquerque at 4 p.m. and this company still took on the job. A great job at that! Very nice, professional and honest. We had some parts already so they didnt charge us for replacement parts. Me and the family were very grateful and nice and cool again! Thank you Dox Auto Repair for being there!

Dox Auto Repair is a fantastic business. The owners were absolutely lovely to deal with. I came in with brake issues and they showed what happened, why, and told me how to do some preventative measures in the future.My brake pads had whittled away so much that the warning squeaker was busted. They told me how to check for that and were wonderful about explaining and showing me what had happened.I feel they actual care about their clients, regardless of my out of state plates, and I will be going back. Highly recommended.

Outstanding service. The Doc came out of retirement to run a 3-bay shop, which he personally ensures the quality of work in. He was able to diagnose my issue based on a description (damaged wheel bearing), and had the work done in just a few hours. I would certainly visit him again, and I highly recommend his services. Because of the size of the shop, it helps to call ahead and schedule.

Theres good reason for this place to have a 4.9 rating out of 5 (as of this writing). Any time Ive had any issues with my vehicles, I call Dox first. Always, always, always. Theyre knowledgeable and patient, not to mention professional, thorough, and HONEST. I cant overstate it: these guys are the real deal. If they can fix it, theyll fix it better than anyone else--and at a better rate. If they cant fix it, theyll get you in touch with someone who can. On three different occasions, the fellas at Dox have told me straight-up that they werent able to help me (with those particular car issues), but they referred me to shops that they trust, and Doxs recommendations have never let me down. One of those places, upon learning that Dox referred me, lowered the cost of that repair job simply because Dox sent me over! My little 2005 Chevy Cobalt has lasted far longer than it would have, had I not starting taking it to these guys. These are good people running a community-oriented repair shop, and youre best bet is to talk with them first.

Dox is in an odd area for a car repair shop, but dont that fool you. They are reasonably priced, they do honest work, and dont tell you that you need something fixed or replace unless it absolutely has to.

Dox auto is awesome. I called them to let them know what was going on and he said to bring it in for diagnostics to find out what needed to be fixed. I brought it in and it took less than an hour for Doc to figure out what it was. He was honest and upfront and didnt try to make me do any unnecessary repairs. I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for any maintenance.

These guys are absolutely amazing! What was starting off to be a real crummy Monday, I called right as they opened, told them what was going on, and they told me to head over. Knowing I had class also, they had ordered the part I needed and it was there about the same time I got there to get me in and out. They never try to rip me off and I know I can trust them with anything I need for my car! Thank you Robert and team!!

We want to really say thank you to this amazing car shop, and especially to Caprice, Robert and Smokey the Bear (the super friendly pupper!) They were absolutely amazing, and very kind people! They took care of our car as if it was one of their own!! AutoZone read our check engine light which ended up being incorrect, saying we needed to pay around $800 to fix our vehicle, at Dox we only paid $100 and our car is running better then ever! I hope we dont have to visit often, but if we ever have car troubles again this is the first place we will be going!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!!

Dox is a great shop! They do excellent work, and the one time of about 4 visits for my daughter’s elderly cars that there was a problem ( with a replacement part) they took great care of her to get it resolved. She’s moving away, and I sure wish they had a shop in Nashville!

Dox spotted what was wrong with our car right away. We previously taken our Toyota to the Toyota authorized mechanic but they didnt catch it even though we specifically asked for a full check up. The owner Robert is incredibly honest. Ive taken my truck in twice where he either diagnosed a problem and didnt charge me or fixed a very minor problem and didnt charge me. Thats pretty amazing.

A mechanic you can trust! Brought in vehicle because Jiffy Lube wanted to replace the brake pads on my truck. Robert, the owner, said the brakes still had 6 months left on them and to bring the vehicle in at that time. Saved me money and earned my trust. Since then we have brought in both our vehicles for maintenance and repairs. Robert is always friendly and forthright in describing what needs, or doesnt need, to be done. Work is stellar and our vehicles run great. Cant recommend Dox enough!!!

They do great work with fair pricing. Weve had a couple repairs (water pump, wheel bearing and hub) performed by Dox, and will happily continue to bring our vehicles to them.

Finally a place i can trust. Had me in the shop the same day after a cancellation. I was up and running with a new water pump five hours after towing it in. Interacted with three different people all were professional and courteous. Showed me my mangled up water pump and talked a bit about my car.While the shop wont win any beauty contests anytime soon, I cant recommend them enough. Great local place.

After a horrible dealership experience, I had my car towed in to Dox for a fuel pump replacement. In addition to fast and affordable service, they warrantied and replaced the OEM part for free when it went bad TWO MORE times during the following year. They even replaced some cracking hoses for free while they were at it. I dont suspect most other mechanics would have been so generous in taking responsibility for cheap OEM parts over which they have no control. I truly appreciate the honest service.

This place is great. Always top notch work done and the owner is always fair. Havent taken my car anywhere else since I found this place.

Every time I take one of my vehicles in, Dox just treats me right. This time it was just helping figure out whether or not the wifes Camry needed brake work. Mushy pedal, going almost all the way to the floor...and some noise sometimes when backing out of the driveway.They cleaned out a bunch of brake dust, adjusted the rear brakes and took some pictures of the pads and drums, all still in very good shape. A brake job Dox did a couple of years ago. Those pics will put my wifes mind at ease ;-)Brake pedal is much better now, and we know the brakes are good to go.I offered to pay - nope, not havin it.Thanks Dox!

Great service, I got a couple speeding tickets trying to pay a bill before they closed and added a $100 tip to John. They dont forward messages and/or call back. Not sure which, but other than that, I couldnt recommend anyone else in Albuquerque more.

Ok ; im on a trip to Florida from San Francisco to visit family. I get to ABQ with the sound of a messed up belt. I call my mechanic in SF and he tells me to google the most honest mechanic in ABQ.... Lol... And here it is DOX!5 star reviews everywhere, i start reading a few stories and my mind is made up.8 am sharp i get there. The garage already had 2 in front of me. The SON of Mr. DOX took iniatiative and promptly informed and created a good guest waiting atmosphere. I felt confident right away that these were the RIGHT guys.I forgot his name (so lets call him the SON)Checked my vehicle in a few minutes like a DOCTOR; I swear he literally pulled out a Stethoscope and listened carefully to the parts of his concern. (He knew what to look for and what to do) in a matter of minutes;The SON dutifully pulled out an invoice. Gave me a fair price for a belt change and a few other vehicle discrepancies.The SON offered for me to stick around or advised me to get lunch at Anas kitchen just down the street. Breakfast was great and cozy and the vibes in this little Mexican restaurant were really good.2 hours later; got a call from DOXs SON.Car was fixed and on my way to FL.I hardly ever write reviews. But none the less; DOX deserves it. The honesty and integrity of this family run business is a prime example of what mechanics all over the country should stand for. These guys deserve more than good reviews and returning customers.A medal of services randered to the community would be appropriate. In a perfect world This business should be running tax free.
