I TOOK MY 98 DODGE FOR TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS CRACKED TCASE AND TRANSMISSION REBUILD .THEY GOT ME FIXED UP ALL NEW REBUILD AND TCASE AND HAD THEM DO A FULL TUNE AS WELL AND TRUCK IS RUNNING MINT. THEY WILL BE MY NEW AUTO SHOP TO TAKE MY TRUCK TO. Joe and his staff are class act and very professional people. I have had two of my babies (Escalade and Corvette) transmissions worked on by Joe. Those are two difficult tyrannys to mess with and both have been a success. A Cadillac and Chevy dealership would have costed me big time money! Joe was very reasonable with his cost. My transmission gave out and was referred to SW Auto Recyclers by a good friend. Joe worked on my truck. Not only was he communicative, he was very polite and professional. I got frequent calls with updates on my truck. Not to mention, the price was very reasonable. Staff was friendly also. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I was told by the local transmission shop that my vehicle needed the transmission replaced. The transmission shop quoted me somewhere between $1,800 and $2,500 just for the replacement, not including labor!I could not afford that so I needed to locate a good, used transmission that was also affordable. Southwest Auto Recyclers were able to provide me one at GREAT value for only $650. Their mechanic, Mark, even checked out my car first to give me a second opinion and make sure that I even needed it replaced.The manager, Joe, was super professional and very helpful. He made sure to run my VIN number against the replacement to make sure that it would fit for my specific vehicle. He was very transparent about everything and gave me the full run-down on where the donor vehicle came from and why it was brought to the shop in the first place. He also informed me of all the different tests they had run on the vehicle and about the condition of the transmission and other parts.While the mechanic, Mark, will begin the transmission replacement tomorrow, and I haven’t yet received the finished service, I am quite confident that I am in good hands. Joe offers a 90-day warranty on all parts, and that made me feel that he really stands behind his products. I look forward to the finished product and I would DEFINITELY recommend this salvage/recycling yard to anyone looking for affordable, yet quality parts, and excellent customer service.

Their customer service is stellar, prices are fair and their mechanics are very knowledgeable and willing to help you with any auto care needs you have.. I have been a client for a couple years now and Southwest Auto Recyclers has done nothing but help me fix any vehicle I bring in and always does my pockets a favor. Excellent customer service not a damn complaint and there’s really not much more to say besides that Southwest is an honest business owned by an honest man trying to make a fair living.

Ive given them two chances and both times there’s been a screw up the labor done on my vehicle. Auto shops charge so much nowadays and I needed my vehicle fixed at a affordable price. The shop owner is nice but mechanics there lacking skills. I don’t recommend for repair work. Not any more, I my self will be looking elsewhere. Side NOTE there’s a sign in shop that states not liable if something if its broke during repair. I didn’t see this until after, because is in the front lobby on the beem above the owner computer.

Picks up phone hangs up twice. Then picks up the line on 3rd attempt to call and dials a phone number over me saying hello. Didnt even get to be served by these guys.. terrible customer service.

Honestly some of the best service I have reviewed

Went to business for a part for my daughters car. They had part, so bought it. This was last Friday. Later that day after business hours I found out my daughter no longer needed part. On Saturday went to return part. Their hours were 9 am to 3 PM. They were closed with no sign indicating they would be closed we live out north so couldnt stay to return part. My brother took part back, they charged a 30 percent restocking fee. When questioned on why fee was so high one of the guys behind the counter tells my brother who had them buying a part they didnt need. What an attitude. They changed me $176.00 to return part. What a RIP off. Beware before buying from this place.

I took my truck there on Friday all they had to do was check my transmission my transmission the worse after I took my truck and they stole some items from my truck I would never go back to this place again Southwest is a rip-off all the bad reviews on Southwest Auto
