My Z3 needed some front air dam work. The panel was buckled, and old paint and filler were falling off. I had to wait a couple of weeks as they were busy, no problem in the circumstances and well worth the wait.The panel was beautifully repaired. The paintwork is first class.The car now looks so beautiful.I couldnt be happier with the work that was done. Thank you.

This was one of the most reasonable body shops in Albuquerque, I shopped around and where most body shops were high this body shop was much better, and I wasnt sure about the work until I picked up my car and was surprised about wonderful of a job they did. This impala was givin to us from my father and mother in law. Who sinced passed and we wanted to have this car kept in great shape.. Now it is.

I went to central paint and body to have a very tiny curbed wheel repaired and my antenna cover painted (small chip) and reinstalled. I verified with David Jr that the car wouldn’t be taken to an auto car wash and he informed me it would be washed by hand in their car wash bay. I received a call from David Jr that the car would be late getting repaired, I told him that’s ok as long as it’s done right. I went to pick up the vehicle after it was already dark but noticed the car wheel was not properly machined and the curbed damage was just shaved down and shined making it way more noticeable than before the “fix” the next morning I noticed a chemical smell when I went for an errand and that the headliner was misaligned from the repair and called the shop and was told there should be no smell because all they did was repair the wheel and took my car through Mister car wash. “What?! My car was a day late, I paid for an extra day car rental and you told me it would be hand washed but you took it to Mister wash?” Sure enough swirls and scratches all over my rims, paint, chrome, lights... I had to do a claim for the work which doesn’t cover the headliner and was told by Farmers to contact the shop which I did and David senior told me “we are done” and hung up the phone. All I wanted was to take care or my vehicle and restore the damage done by this shop and instead they treated me horribly and made my vehicle look worse and I’m paying for their errors. Please be informed prior to using this shop.

Saved my skin. After an accident in my rental the team here understood that time was of the essence, to me it seemed like they stopped all other work to get the rental repaired. 2 days later and a very fair price the rental was returned. Dave has been taking care of me and my family for over 20 years. This shop may not always be the least expensive, but it is reasonable and they are honest and up front about the time and cost (and more often than not, it is the least expensive). I trust Dave to treat me well every time I bring in my vehicles. More than anything they stand behind their work and will do their best to help you when you need it.

I chose to work with Central based on these good reviews. I was quoted $3500 for a complete paint job of my Honda Civic in the winter of 2015, and told I could have it done any time. I asked if there was any way to do some of the prep myself to lower the cost, and was told yes - if I took off fenders, hatchback, hood, bumpers, windows, all the seals, and bought new bumpers instead of painting the old ones, they could do it whenever I want for $2500. I did all of this work. Kept trying to call to set up a time but calls were not returned. Whenever I showed up in person David (owner) was super polite and would spend a lot of time talking with me. Kept telling me he would have color spray-outs done tomorrow or next week for over 2 months. I left my torn-apart car with them so they could start, and asked for a written quote. David promised it the next day. Then 2 weeks later when I showed up again, promised it the next day... meanwhile all kinds of different cars are coming and going through their shop. He keeps giving me a happy story about the pretty classic truck that is slowing down his spray booth, and how nice it looks. I see his son David Jr. who does the spraying, and mention the spray-outs that he was working on for me last week. David Jr. doesnt know what spray-outs Im talking about. They dont answer or return my calls. I show up again, now more than a few months into the process. David happily tells me that he actually had a conversation yesterday with David Jr. about my car, and they can do it for $3500. After I took it all apart myself and bought extra parts, he raises his quote back up to what the original price was without me doing any of the work. Yes, he saw and inspected the car in person when he made that first quote. Nothing had changed. He tried to explain that the extra $1000 was because of the little parts that I wanted painted. I had asked him to include a 2-inch antenna base to match the car. Everything else was the same: mirrors, handles, etc. I asked him to put that quote in writing. Sure, Ill email that to you right away tomorrow. Did he? Of course not. I finally picked up my torn-apart car and all the parts and got it out of there. David made sure he wasnt around when I came to pick it up. I still have no idea why he did not want to do this work for a paying customer. But what matters is that he kept telling me he would do it, then not doing it and not communicating with me. He was always extremely polite. And extremely dishonest. David clearly knew he had no intention of doing the work next week at any time during the months that my car was available to him. But he kept stringing me along and wasting my time. I am deeply disappointed and cannot recommend this business to anyone.
