Just like walking into an old general store. Had a little of everything, asked a worker where something was he showed me answered questions and help me fine two other things too. Great place to buy your needs, and service was like its supposed to be. I love this place

First time at this store. A lot of floor space, easy to get around. Well organized. Staff very helpful. Farm supply section well stocked. Plenty of parking.

Great store to find pretty much anything youre looking for. I continue to shop at BOMGAARS in ALBERT LEA because I have always been treated with nothing but the greatest respect. For any VETERAN that shops there, they offer a discount on your entire purchase. Please give them the respect of showing your VETERANS ID CARD.

Boomgaars in Albert Lea is a nice and well stocked store. Unlike the one in Forest City which isnt stocked well at all.

I had never been there before, but they have a lot of great stuff for reasonable prices! I had trouble finding what I needed and an employee escorted me to the right place and even grabbed it for me. My only complaint is that a few employees dont have their masks covering their noses, so theyre only half on.

Better then Walmart any day of the week.very helpful associates.

Have most of the common things, but somewhat lacking in the little odds and ends, still have to make a trip to fleet farm in owatonna if we need something not ordinary. But good staff, and they are helpful if you need help. Cant complain too much aside from some lack of inventory which is what it is. I go here quite a bit for things.

Very friendly staff, always willing to answer questions no matter how bizarre. We get our chickens and ducks from them every year, amazing results. Fair prices and great mark downs when you find them! Definitely worth a stop if you find yourself nearby and have a moment.

Staff are very helpful. Store is kept clean and generally stocked well. Very large selection of items. A few different items caught our eye but none of the selection had prices on them which drove us away from buying

Bought paint. Shaker had been moved off the floor. No paint sticks to offer. They stopped having them when they stopped shaking the paint. Hmmmmm. Got it home. Realized it had already been opened before. Yikes.

Stopped in for the first time today and I love this place. Its kind of like fleet farm. Huge selection of tools.

Nice and clean store. Very pricey though but the staff is really nice and they have a lot to choose from. I would definitely recommend them.

This place is crowded and im not talking with people, with things. things that belong on shelves but are piled on top of other things in random piles and bins. staff members act like your bothering them if you ask for help good luck getting through aisle as there crowded as well hope u dont need a large item because it wont make it through an aisle. Sad i had to change my rating and no prices on items!!!

Easily found what we needed. Hardware by the pound! One lock nut cost $3.19, which was more than the 2 bolts, 2 hex nuts, 2 locking washers, and 4 washers in the per-pound bag.Friendly staff.

Keep your receipts! They sold me a wrong product that could have injured me or cost me my life and I went back for the right one and they told me I needed a receipt, who keeps receipts now days I shop there for all my needs didnt expect them to treat me the way they did Im pretty sure they know exactly who I am as much as I shop there, be aware of the defective products they sell!

Tried to exchange a pair of jeans for a larger size. ..I didnt have a receipt, as it was a gift, and they wouldnt allow an even exchange...stupid...I wasnt trying to get money, I wanted one size bigger in the pants, and they wanted me to pay 5 more dollars for the same pants...how stupid...wont ever ever shop there again...they gave me 7.91 back .and I left the store empty handed. ..screw you and your dumb exchange policies

Only shopped here a few times I was quickly reminded of l dont shop here often . I have to say I hate asking, looking for prices .we were helped with help on info for a large tank did not expect them to be the exact one we wanted that part you get 4+🌟 but I got discussed with walking around all over and still you have not learned to price your stuff .maybe next time we are looking for lrg building we will try you again

Didnt have any ammo.

I like the wide range of products they sell and hope they remain open for a very long time. The only thing i would want to see different with bomgaars is there ability to order new products they dont yet carry.

Went in to purchase a new lawnmower, asked for assistance, the employee said that she would send someone over. We waited for 15 minutes and no one showed. We left, went to Walmart and purchased 2 lawn mowers. Poor customer service!

Tired to exchange propane tank one cashier working and the other one stand around doing nothing. The cashier asked for help with the exchange propane tank the one stand around doing nothing came and gave the key and said take care of it...went back to doing nothing .. The working cashier now had 5 people waiting ... Didnt turn out well.. 4 Times Ive been there now same issues, no customer service ...... Will not shop there again even though its only 5 miles away.... Would not recommend
