Great n friendly place. Fresh n authentic items. Very convenient. Enjoyed shopping.
This place is great. They are very helpful, which is necessary when you are shopping for things youre not familiar with.
Has spices and great basmati rice. Naan was ok, have had better. Service was good but it was difficult to understand the gentleman who helped us with questions. Have been here a few times before, good Indian supply store.
Is this store still open? Tried calling few times but no response
Went to the store to get a box of mangos, one of the mango was rotten in that box, so I switched the mango from another box, the person on the counter said.. I should not do it.. he said since they are also paying their supplier for these rotten mangos, I should also purchase the same from their store.. technically he wants me to pay for the rotten mangoes.. I was like, what is this logic.. lol..Overall, hard to get fresh vegetables except for Friday, in the last 6-7 months, I have found discrepancies in my overall bill, and the staff corrected the bill.
Good place to buy Indian groceries at a good price.
Very helpful alway have what I want and need.
Fresh veggies and products. Very nice and helpful staff. Convenient location with ample parking space.
Great selection of products and good prices. Plenty of parking on side of building.
India Bazaar is well known place for Indian grocery in capital Region, Would definitely recommended for any Indian Grocery, The store people are friendly as well.
Good selection but More expensive than other Indian grocery stores! The place could be cleaner & watch the expiry dates!
No sanitizer station no sanitizer any where in store no one is cleaning door handles in frozen and cold section no one cleaning entrance door handles store is dirty .even cashier doesnt have sanitizer and they are not even cleaning counter after each transaction which they supposed to do .Not recommended right now until they change their system
Indian grocery store. Enough parking. Can find basic Indian grocery at reasonable prices.
Excellent place to buy Indian groceries. They get fresh vegetables every Thursday. Quality of groceries is probably the best in Capital district.
I would not recommend it. Fresh produce had a fungus grown on it and it was on shelf for sale. Shocking. Staff was load the top shelf of freezer by putting his feet at the bottom shelf of the freezer. After seeing this I just left my cart and ran out.
Best place of Indian food items
You will get all the indian spices you like to buy
Had everything I needClean. Respectful and went out of his way to help me figure out what I need
Samosas were 4 days old. Half of the frozen section was empty, fresh produce was wilted. Maybe we should visit on a different day
Has a lot of whole spices for great prices. Has a huge rice selection of basmati of course and Jasmin too. Has fresh vegetables and tons of dry goods to choose from. Even a frozen section as well. The man asked right away after ringing out a customer if I needed help and even showed me where something was. He was nice checking out too. Friendly little shop. Will update my review later when I visit again. They have tons of spices and ingredients. Perfect place to start and buy from when you are serious about making good indian food as authentic as you can from home. Especially with the pandemic. Will definitely shop again with how organized the shop was. I have always bought my basmati in popular large markets and I will never again. Iv never had rice taste so good at home. Taste like its straight from the indian restaurants. Whole spices make a huge difference compared to ground which you can find anywhere. The prices you cant beat I think compared to other indian shops in the area.
Great place.Got most things someone from the Caribbean would need.Staff is friendly and iles are spacious. Not like some stores you go to that you cant even turn around in.Check it out youll love it too.
Good place for most Indian goods.
Go there for herbs! Shhhh. I did not tell you this
They have everything ethnic. They even have amla powder and frozen Amla-gooseberries.They are friendly and even gave all my kids free chocolates as we checked out.
Good, I found everything that I wanted
All you need!
Good place for Indian grocery; however they don’t provide detailed itemized bill
We get all the Indian groceries from India Bazar. Sometimes just need to check the expiry of the items which is the story of every Indian store in Albany.
Visited the place while I went to RPI nearby. They have remarkable variety of brands for most stock items. I had not even heard of a few brands before. So full marks to the owner on variety front. Perhaps the organic varieties could be enhanced if it makes financial sense.
All things edible Indian and Pakistani seems to be available.
They are always super friendly with customers. Best Indian grocery store in Albany.
Love this market. Everything is fresh & they have a great selection in this area.
It an OK place. Needa to be cleaned up and more organized
Best place in the area for fresh Indian vegetables (especially on Thursdays and Fridays). Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been going here for the past 20+ years.
The store has all good quality stuff and the owners are very good.
A full service grocery store that is always well stocked, inviting, clean & staffed with kind & helpful staff. They have the best variety of indian frozen & convenience foods in the region. They also carry newspapers & entertainment items. Theyre a hub of local events in the Indian community.
The owners and the people working there totally discriminate if you are from any other than India or south India.I have been here few times when it was like festival days like Diwali or Christmas. On every occasion they treat people with free sweets or cakes if you are from India but not from any where else.I was in the line to pay and on every occasion there were people checking out ahead of me who were probably from owners race and heritage, they all were served free treats gracefully but me.Never going there again.Terrible place to make you feel different.
Reasonable pricing.
During covid, the men working in this store keep pulling their masks under their noses.
I go here to buy Indian vegetables. Being new to upstate this one has better vegetables than other Indian stores I have visited in the area.
Least friendly staff. Overpriced items. We went for the first time. Instead of orrering help to find items the manager was just walking behind us, which was Embarrassing. The cashier packed all items in a small bag, even after asking for a second bag. Will never recommend this place or go again.
Good selection of Indian products, vegetables, and goods, fair prices. If youre in the area, its worth checking out.
Great selection of authentic Indian foods and groceries.
Good place for Asian grocery choices
Has all the grocery items, fresh ones come on Thursday. Store could have been more clean n tidy. Overall good place to buy Indian stuff.
Cool store. Not a lot of produce the day I was there. Empty bins. Maybe they were getting delivery the next day. Will definitely go again.
Great selection of food. Staff very helpful. Great prices.
So so. Costly . In india lifeboy soap cost is 0.15 cent. They are selling @ more than 1 us$They are what doing i dont know
Kind and helpful staff
For a small store, it has all the basic Indian essentials.
I think its the Only Indian grocery store in Schenectady and Albany area, they keep almost all required things.. but their bill receipts does not specify item details and it only says grocery for every single item you buy and that makes it difficult to track and in case required anything to be returned
Great service and good fresh Indian foods from Tamil and spices. Keep stocking your shelves.
Ive only been here once, but the cashier was extremely helpful and offered to help me find stuff the moment I walked in the door. He walked me to the aisles for everything I needed but also didnt linger by me every second, which I appreciated. They had everything I needed to make a dhal curry dish I had found a recipe for online, and the prices are pretty decent too.
Good for indian groceries, vegetables and spices. Visit every week here.
It is a good place to buy needs of that kind.
This has plenty of asian food both fresh and dry including rice and vegitables. The shop is not so big considering area but this has almost every essential asian food. Parking available.
Pretty good selection of items, and reasonable prices. Excellent selection of pickles and frozen items. Their pre-made dosa mix is excellent, too...!Update 06/02/2019:This continues to be my go-to store for Indian groceries. Whether its vegetables, snacks, spices, rice, coffee, pickles, ghee, fish, utensils - you name it, they have it! Sure, its not one of those giant stores in Edison, but for me, its the next best thing. Youll probably find one or two things missing, but for a South Indian like me, this place is awesome! 😊👍One suggestion: prices are often not clearly marked, which is frustrating.
Best place to shop Indian grocery ...
Huge selection of Indian foods, expert help and more lentil varieties than I knew existed.
Nice to get Indain stuff. But billing system should improve with proper item names.
Great Indian store with nice owners and a large variety of items! Good prices also
This is my go-to place for spices. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Best place to get all unique and ethnic products from India.
Good Indian store at reasonable price. When I visited, there were no good fresh vegetables, I am not sure this this is the case every day.
Best Indian grocery store in Capitol district.
Excellent choice of spices, courteous service, but the place could be cleaner.
Good place for the groceries and fresh vegetables on Thursdays.
Athentic indian spices. You can make fantastic Indian dishes using them
One can easily get expired food items here.I have observed that wheat flour packets, and spices are often expired. Even after notifying the staff, those packets were not removed.
Vegetables are fresh and people are kind and nice. Best vegetables lot available on Thursday.
Excellent place to shop for Indian grocery. Very nice people and stuff.
You will get good quality of Indian products

Good for fresh groceries on Thursdays, make sure to check expiration date of packed products though.
Like the different varieties of indian ingredients
Good place for fresh vegetables, variety of indian grocery, I find almost everything here as I can get in India, frozen vegetables are very good and inexpensive here.
Not bad store. Some stuff old but ok!
You wont find varieties here... Veggies are also not great... Kind of a bleak place for shopping... Apna bazaar is a better option
Amazing Staff and Even Better already cooked food with a lot of exotic goods.
Found what I was looking for at reasonable prices, friendly staff.
