Today was my first visit in years, and now I remember why. The staff is awful. I faxed in an order for myself and 2 coworkers. Faxed in the order at 11:45 am, and let them know that Id be there around 12:30 PM to pick it up. I arrive at 12:25 PM and stand in line for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledges me. The young girl at the front counter asks me if I called in an order and I tell her that I faxed in my order. She looks at the 2 bags in front of her and tells me they are not mine. Okay, I stand in line for another five minutes. Finally, I have to stop them and ask if they even received my order. The young girl asks the other young girl up front and they tell me that they dont have my order because theyd remember the names that were on there. I let them know that I faxed it in 45 minutes prior and all they did was tell me to fill out a slip at the counter. So, I have to call my coworkers and have them tell me what they ordered so that I can fill out a slip. While they were making the orders I asked if I could go ahead and pay for the meals because I was already 20 minutes late going back to work. She lets me pay for one, and then individually waits for the other orders to be made before I can pay for them. The customer service was AWFUL. When I got back to work I looked at my fax confirmation to verify that I had sent it to the correct fax number, and sure enough I did. They took no responsibility for their error. Will not be back. Sandwich was good, pasta salad was terrible. Not a good experience all around.

Ham Salad Salad is my ultimate favorite🥰its ham salad on top of a bed of salad. The turkey is good also. Will start buying a while ham for family functions. Fast service. Great CS

Customer service is horrible. Literally 5 staff members will sit and look at you instead of asking you what you need. But thats no surprise all the people in Albany act like something is wrong with them anyway!! Will not be returning

Fruit salad is really a fruit cup. Maybe its just me but the bread is too hard on the edges per my taste. Need more sugar in the sweet tea

Sooo good. Staff turn over fast, this group seem different and very pleasant. Knowledgeable. Wanted a hambone...they were out. Offered to double check in the back and confirmed offered what day to check in the future. That was a pleasant change. Sandwiches are awesome can make 2 meals!

Once I starting ordering sandwiches, I really liked it. It is very convenient for us when we want to do a picnic. Ive tried the hams and they are great. I look forward to trying some of their frozen meals, they have a great selection, great time savers. My last sandwich was the Mediterranean, best veggie sandwich 🥪 ever!

Great place to have lunch. Also they have catering which I will be using for my son and his fiance couples shower. Very responsible prices for the quality of the food. Excellent selection of sandwiches, potato and pasta salads. Whole hams and all the tasty sides to go with it. I have been eating there for better than 10 years and never not even once have I been disappointed.

I have always liked this place. I like that they have a variety of everything and I think its worth the money. I went in last week and got 3 boxes and we all enjoyed them. I will be going back again soon.

We went to the store and ordered a sandwich from the paper and pencil system they have there. My mother and I both made mistakes on the slips (which we are very sorry for). When I comes time to pay the cashier asks, what looks to be like the manager, if my mother has a drink on the slip or not (there was some confusion, again we’re sorry, about whether the drinks are folded in to the box lunch or a la carte). I apologize to the manager for the logistical nightmare and he throws the cashier under the bus and mocks him publicly in front of me and a long line of customers. The manager then goes to the line where he again mocks the cashier again with the line workers. Mocking people at work in front of customers is unprofessional and rude.

I called a head because, so I wouldnt have to waste all my lunch there. I had to wait several minutes, that shouldnt happen. Or calling in an order is pointless. Time should be a high priority always.

Just made a large lunch order for my company. We were having trouble getting the fax through so we called. They asked that we take a photo and text it and the order was ready in 20 minutes. Thats GREAT customer service in my opinion - going the extra mile to help get an order placed.

Place was just ok.Ordered the Turkey, sliced on a salad plate with tomato, onion and lettuce. Ranch dressing.The Turkey was hard and lettuce was not very good. All wide leaves as I do prefer the Iceberg.I was more disappointed with the Turkey being hard and toughThink the ham might be good, but stay away from the Turkey.I also had the brocolli and cheese soup that was really good.3 stars.

Called in the order on Christmas eve and they had it ready by 1.....awesome.

The chicken salad is THE BEST in Albany. Plus, Ive been going so long, my food is always ready as soon as I walk in. The staff rocks!

The older African American lady was very rude. I asked a question and she seemed to not want to be there. I took my money elsewhere. If I wanted bad customer service I would have chose McDonald’s.

I ordered a roast beef with havarti cheese, tomato, lettuce, and mayonnaise on marble rye through my work as our principal was buying used lunch. HBH must have made it the night before and they made it wrong. The bread was stale, the roast beef was processed, there was no havarti, and they used honey mustard. I only took a few bites. I got it free and I didnt eat it. I wouldnt spend my money.
