Spacious and best price chopper around,,great early morning cashier!,only price chopper where you dont deal with the soulless zombies walking around

I’ve never been a big fan of Price Chopper as a business. Their stores are behind the times, even the updated stores. But the thing that bugs me most is how cheap and stingy they are.Point in fact: tonight I am watching local news and they do a piece about PC taking donations AND matching (ONLY) up to $5,000. That’s about as stingy as a multi million dollar business can be. They’re essentially free advertising from all the local TV stations in every region they’re located in. Yes, it’s great that they are a place to make a donation, but they really out to step up to the plate. They’re getting far more than they give with virtually free advertising.

I shop here often, I have no problems, only with market 32 prices for meats.

Clean well stocked lots of parking

Dairy filled with milk that had been expired for a week, product that should had been removed about 10 days ago. They also had yogurt that was expired. Its obviously staff doesnt do their job properly. Dont shop here.Go to hannaford across the street or whole foods market or target up the road at least they wont sell you expired food.

Prices were decent. The employees nice attitude. Shelves half empty but I usually go early mornings. Could be better.

Pretty decent store. Good size and they had everything I was looking for. Cashier was nice too!

Went here a few days ago to return bottles because the other price chopper on Central Ave had their bottle return center closed for the day. Not too far out of the way so I said why not. There happened to be other people returning a ton of bottles here too, so a worker there said he would take the small amount of bottles I had and just give me a slip for them. Then proceeded to tell me most of the bottles I had werent accepted here and only gave me a slip for about a third of what I had, when everything I had has ALWAYS been accepted by the machines at other price chopper locations. Wont be coming back here to do this again, at least not near closing time. At least he gave me my bottles back to bring somewhere else.

Idk why the doors are locked when its clearly open in the mornings. Im not a senior but I have literally gone in before 8am multiple times right before work. Its super annoying.

Very nice. Its housed in a home depot type warehouse, BIG, clean, organized and kinda sorta in the awesome. IveNever described a supermarket as AWESOME.

I know ADA regulations about service and non-service support animals customers may have with them. I understand the delicate nature and legal issues that may occur if your staff would question a customer with an animal. I was in the Westgate store and a woman entered with two (2) very large pit-bulls. The dogs were difficult for her to handle and made customers avoid the aisles the woman and dogs were in. No one on your staff talked to her. The law may allow a service animal and an emotional support animal may be allowed. Two dogs are clearly not the letter or the intent of those regulations. I asked supervisory staff on the floor and was told we are not allowed by company policy to approach a customer bringing in a dog. According to that, your policy is “no policy”. Your staff was professional but more concerned about getting into trouble with corporate than concern for the customers or Price Choppers own liability should the dogs hurt someone. There may be legitimate need for emotional support animals, this was clearly outside of the law and within your power to correct. Recently the airline industry has challenged the validity of this new health care issue and require proof of service status for a dog to fly. Claims that an animal is an emotional support animal are false more and more each day. I wish you would revisit your policy with more regard to the safety and comfort of all of your customers especially the more vulnerable customers who rely on you for their safety once inside. Thank You

This Price Chopper has great product availability and I do often go there just for that reason. That being said, I have often been disappointed in the quality of the produce at this particular location. Besides that, I have no significant complaints.

In regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, this Price Chopper has done a lackluster job of ensuring that all customers and employees are playing their part in ensuring the spread of the virus slows. The amount of people in this store that do not get it and are out of touch is astonishing. From the customers who don’t understand that the shopping aisles are one way (not two way), to the good number of customers who have been allowed to enter the store without masks and gloves, to the employees that wear masks below their chin and come up to customers at the cashier while not wearing masks, to the security guard (Caucasian guy with glasses) who stands in the front of the store and is as useless as they come and allows all of this to happen, this store needs a serious re-evaluation and possible oversight from the government. For as long as this pandemic goes on, I encourage you to consider going to a different grocery store, there are a good number that are taking this global pandemic very seriously.

Fresh cherries on sale. I paid 5 bucks for a bag of cherries. The Westgate PC only had one bottle of dish detergent left. Some shelves were half empty.

Great store has everything you need. Friendly staff and employees. Should be a a Market 32. But👍 what is most needed for disabled customers are motorized carts with baskets such like Walmart. And the parking lot to be letterhead or numbered by row.

This place is great if you wanna throw it back and get the full Chopper experience. its a preserved slice of Americana history, a real gem. Not that Market 32 imposter. #choppergang #golubganggang

Stores very very customer-friendly very easy to shop sell items are always on in cats staff is very willing to help especially at the meat counter some story to go into and person behind me a slice of the me just kind of like looks at you like you got three heads doesnt offer to help you or anything because they really dont want to have to cut open that meat and slice it but thats part of your job but nobody wants the end of their meat in a lot of people dont like having it open and eat so they will ignore you at any cost but for everyone that ignores you have 10 go out of the way so it makes up the difference

This is the urban market 32 formerly known as Price chopper where things are happening there are crazies and artists all mixed together!

The cashier was very rude. She didnt look on the product plu code and she charged for a completely different veggie, with a higher price. For moreover, she didnt apologize for the mistake, but give me a cold look as it was my mistake.

Thus store is well stocked. They had everything I was looking for except Morningstar Farms hotdogs. It did take me long to check out at all. Great store. Although I have no idea if they had essentials(cleaning products, toilet tissue/paper towels, lysol, clorox) because i wasnt looking for these items.

I enjoy going to this store. However, I do think it is more expensive than the other grocery stores in the area. Staff is helpful and friendly.

I had to park too far away and a jerk parked right on my bumper so I couldnt open my trunk and some van parked so close I couldnt open my passenger side door. I have a healing broken ankle and had to bring about 15 bags and boxes over the median into my drivers side back door. The parking attendant saw me struggling and didnt offer to help. I realize that its not PCs responsibility to provide comfortable parking but I will definitely be aware of timing and location in the future.

Price Chopper has the best prices for what I get. I just hate waiting in line during the pandemic.

Normally this place is Awesome but today someone having a bad day rung me out. And, OMG this lady was rude and Very Intentionally Slow when it came to me. Maybe I reminded her on an ex. I spoke with manager about her service- something I try Not to do with ppl whom work as clerks and such.

Out of all the price choppers in the area, it seems that this one is the largest and most well-stocked. Pretty clean in general, and staff are nice. Cant complain too much about their selection as it is pretty varied.

Its not that good to people out of town. Ended up paying full price for my goods, when local stores around me allow a courtesy card.

Always the best. Bob in the food court always helps me with special orders for parties. The staff are professional and friendly. Every item is stocked, the veggies and fruit are better than the other stores. And the bakery is fabulous. Open 24hrs. helps with a busy life style. This is a large location. Problem is that the lines are backed up every time I visit. Two cashiers only. Over all clean store, well put together.

The price chopper at Westgate Plaza is really good for mid albany and it has pretty much everything for anyone and they another of Jewish products too!!!

Disgustly dirty. Ask someone to wipe down tables and he totally ignored me. Wanted to get a coffee with my so called sandwich and it also was a disaster and no one around to help if I wanted to get a coffee. You should hire employees and staff to keep it neat and clean. I promise to let people know never go there, HORRIBLE.

Bakery did not have nearly anything at 6 AM. Prly should expect that considering the store was dead. I enjoyed my fresh muffin, I just wanted a bagel!

This place is huge. You have a lot of options, and there is even an international section. The employees are helpful. The prices, however, I found were not as competitive as other places like Save a Lot and Aldi. Otherwise it is a nice store.

I recently purchased a cake today and it was wonderful. Monica in the bakery always does an expert decorating job. I find all the staff to be friendly and helpful and love to use this location.

Clean, great selection for international foods. Staff is helpful that is working the floor. My only complaint is the cashiers. Ive been there so many times I cant count and only once was the cashier friendly. Most of the time they dont even acknowledge your existence except to tell you what you owe. Ive said good morning, hello, thank you....they dont even look at me. Horrible cashiers but if that doesnt matter to you, great store otherwise!

I prefer this Price chopper in Glenmont. The prices are reasonable.

Has a lot of variety. I pretty much find what I need, however, the fruit section should include soursop and other beneficial fruits and vegetables.

By far the worst price chopper Ive ever been to. Its dirty, the shelves are never stocked, and there are never enough registers open. Employees look miserable. After shopping there this past Monday and leaving without half my list Ill be going out of my way to go elsewhere from now on.Edit in response to reply: I did contact price chopper through their website detailing everything. Have yet to have it resolved by them.

This is the worst Price Chopper Ive ever been in. First there were no carts available to use. I was told by the front end supervisor that I would have to look around the store for one. Now there were not that many people in the store which tells me they dont have enough carts. When I checked out at the register the clerk did not pay attention to what she was doing and even walked away to chat with a friend before we paid. The bagger packed about 1/3 of the groceries and just walked away. I had to finish bagging the groceries. Neil Golub should really review this location and fix it. After leaving the store I now know why so few people were there shopping on a Sunday.

Price Chopper/Market 32 have great prices on produce, Dairy, frozen foods, meats, chicken, pastas & sauces at great low & sale prices everyday and I get $$ off toward gas.

Typical Price Chopper. The items we needed - Price Choppers brand grinded black pepper and McCormicks cumin spices - were not in stock. Just an empty space on a rack. We had to go elsewhere.
