I Absolutely Love this Hannaford! Customer Service is EXCELLENT! Love it when I receive digital saving coupons on my cell. My only complaint is the Meat Dept. The quality of meat and seafood has gone down tremendously. I shop at another store in order to get better quality meat and seafood.

The produce section leaves MUCH to be desired- the produce manager might want to talk to the produce manager for the Clifton Park Hannaford for some tips. Otherwise, this store has done really well keeping up with the stocking (as well as can be expected) and organization in the middle of what must have been a nightmare for grocery stores (pandemic). The staff are almost always friendly and are always willing to help.

Come here for best overall store! When lines long, one will open up! Brian or Than, many others, very helpful and much of staff has been there over 15 years! The store is dedicated to cleanliness, can count on it! First store to put up clear barriers between cashiers and customers when COVID hit, and dedicated hours for seniors and those at risk. Bathroom always clean. Prices and selection good and reasonable. Good balance of processed/fresh food.

This is the worst Hannaford. They will constantly accused you of stealing. Or taking something.

Hannaford is always clean and they have most of what I need. Not usually anything super exotic, but most of us arent looking for that most of the time anyway. The people are friendly and helpful. Their app is good for seeing if they have an item and where it is.

Excellent produce and bakery, and there is almost always something new to try that Ive never seen before. The flower selection is fantastic.

A great-sized supermarket with too few check-out lanes. There is a sweet older lady at the door who greets you and asks about how your wife and stepchild are doing. Her name is Ms. Annette and if you disrespect her a rain of hellfire will come down upon your soul.Deli has a good selection.

What I like here aside from supermarket is, in one place you got bank, network service, subway, popeyes. And a huge parking structure. Very accessible corners Central avenue and Colvin street.

Lets see. I went to Bruegfers baels. Their bagels are very small . A lot the frozen bagels that one get at Hannaford,price chopper or shoot right. Not impressed at . I left depressed.. will never go back! Thank you

I always go to the Hannaford on Central Ave in Albany NY. I went February 1st. There was little to no steak in the case. Ive never seen the case so very empty.

Hannaford is my favorite supermarket to shop. Some of the staff are very courteous and friendly but others not so much. I like it because everything is organized and neat.

I have shopped at this particular Hannaford since it changed its name from Shop N Save many years ago. Great & efficient staff, store is always clean, prices competitive. It has the best deli & meat department out all of the other supermarkets in the area. The meat is always fresh. Dairy prices are great. Store is not overcrowded. Family store feel to it.

This Hannaford is probably the cleanest and best-organized supermarket in Albany. Ive never had any issues there and the staff seem quite nice.

Had my truck towed. Left there last night to be responsible and came to get in morning and it is gone. One small sign in parking lot. Last time I shop there.

Clean and good selection. The only bad thing is that the Hannaford Rewards program only covers Hannaford brands, way too limited. Good prices anyway.

I think Hannaford has a great supply of gluten free and allergy sensitive products!

Theres one manager or assistant manager by the name of Linda who does back round checks on people she feels insecure around. All she ever complains about is how horrible it is taking care of grand children! When I heard this I was discussed with her. Ill never shop there again and she complains almost about everyone in the joint.

I love this Hannaford! Its always clean and the staff is very friendly! Everything is always perfect at this store I would just avoid aisle 5, thats where the Dementors live and throw gruel at shoppers.

I just started shopping on a semi-regular basis at Hannaford about a month ago . Im very impressed with the seafood department. Wish they carried more gluten free and vegetarian food.

Been my store since it opened under their old name years ago. Practically all the same staff, amazing for a supermarket. Not always the best selections of meats as the suburban Hannafords, but still good. Its in a slowly fading strip center and could use a refresh inside, but I still give it 4 stars. The employees earned a big part of this rating.

Was there last week... Impressive as in was wanting to plan a nice dinner for out of town guests for the weekend. But what? And heres where the sales come into play, I saw country style pork ribs for around $5.00 per package. Yes, I forget exactly what it weighed but it was a great price for my needs AND budget. Thanks... It was a wonderful weekend with family and friends!

I love this Hanover to death I love the people that work there deli department meat department even the one guy has been up the front I apologize if I get his name wrong but I always call and lee theyre good people thats the reason why I usually go I just wish that sometimes the people in charge of the points when start fixing it and say you know what you get points if you use the store brand items and maybe the third time you go back there you can get the points instead of marking periods were not in school you just should say earned the points use the points you should not have to wait for the points do you get the points Lake ShopRite maybe just discount points

This is a solid, good quality supermarket, they have most things, at decent prices. Including a lot of organic stuff from ice cream, cheese, meat, and even organic bread (very hard to find). Definitely a good visit.

Ignorant and stubborn checkout supervisor wouldnt accept my NYS drivers license as proof of age because it showed an experation date of 6/2/20. Well duhh, DMV offices have been closed due to the Covid19 pandemic and DMV has extended expirations one year. Evidently, this female didnt get that memo.

I really dont like this store. I believe their prices are way too high! The staff is nice though and they are also helpful. I just look at their advertising paper and cannot believe the prices of their food. Too expensive compared to the other grocery stores in the area!

When I lived in Albany, I shopped here all the time. I started shopping here because it was more relaxing and convenient than Price Chopper, but I came to realize that the prices were good as well. On the rare occasions when the price of some item was wrong, they refunded me with double the amount I paid for it. The cashiers were almost always nice and eager to be of help.

Good selection, including vegan and gluten free items, at good prices. The produce isnt always the freshest and the lighting/cleanliness of the store could be better compared to competition, but the staff are very patient and helpful which makes for a good experience despite the condition of the shop. Also, its been two years that you cant get cashback from most of the self-service check-out kiosks and they are aware of the issue but wont fix it since it works sometimes. The staff are great about working around that but youd think a big chain like this would just fix it? Interesting management, I guess!

When my bagger/store associate/cashier is there (sorry Im not sure of his official title), I have the best experience. Next time Ill get his name. Hes very polite and knows how to bag properly. I take the time to pick out the best fruits and vegetables, pretty much every item I purchase. Groceries are expensive! If only I could specifically request him, grocery shopping would be fun and not a chore! Most employees are pleasant and the store is well lit and clean. For me, it ALWAYS comes down to proper bagging technique. I also enjoy the Hannaford Rewards savings.

Today, I gave the worst evaluation. I bought a four-note lottery ticket and charged me ten dollars. I dont know why. When I use the mobile phone to translate, it is also banned by the staff. If I speak English, I will definitely not use the mobile phone to translate it. Understand why the service staff will do this, and may not come here to shop in the future.

Although I prefer Hannaford in general, this particular store is my favorite. It is my favorite because of the staff. Hardworking, knowledgeable and by far the friendliest group of people I have come across in this setting. I always leave this store with a smile.

My least favorite of all Hannafords. Poor management. Bad service. Lazy! Parking lot and entrance dirty sloppy uninviting. Also a cut through to side road. Never am able to finish my basic list, here. Produce is substandard. Hannafords gets the worst watermelons on the market. All stems from executives to management ..very bad.

I was expecting to hate this place but I actually really liked it. The prices seem to be the same as at Price Chopper but the selection skewed a little bit more unique and Gourmet. For example I have not seen fresh ground chicken at Price Chopper but they had it at Hannaford. I also think they have a better produce section than Price Chopper. Highly recommend.

Terrific variety of foods, produce and grocery items. I was in awe of how low the prices are. Very informative and kind staff. EZ parking.

This is by far not the biggest Hannaford but it is an okay sized hannaford at least. I cant say that there was the greatest customer service but definitely also not the worst either. Honestly, would never had probably stopped here had I not had to and if there was a better one closer to my job but it had what I was looking for at least at a decent price.

My favorite market by far, the butchers are all always helpful, will custom cut what you want on the spot. Its a clean and always stocked store. And, its across the street from a Price Chopper, which is another story all together. Compare and youll understand were Im coming from.
