I originally met Heather, owner of NW Design House, during a Budget Blinds appointment. She made fantastic recommendations and helped me with a window treatment in my dining room. After that I learned she owned NW Design house and I asked her about redoing my kitchen. I really liked that she had a menu of design options that one could chose from, meaning a price list depending on what you needed. It took the guess work out where to start and how much getting started would cost. I loved that. Heather ended up designing and renovating my kitchen and downstairs bathroom. I love how everything came together and is exactly what I wanted. I found working with her and her staff to be easy and seamless. I would highly recommend NW Design House.

The staff at Design House are very professional. The designer took the time to listen to what we wanted and presented us with several fantastic options. During the process, the designer guided us every step of the way. We could not be happier with how our project turned out!

I purchased all my window treatments from Heather at the Design House. She did a great job with suggesting the best window coverings for each room. Her staff is freindly and quick to respond. Rather than moving from a location in North Albany that we loved, my husband and I approached Heather from Northwest Design House about some renovation ideas we had to add square footage and update our 1970’s ranch style home. In the initial consult, Heather gave us ideas on how we could utilize the square footage we already had to include an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area, as well as, giving us an indoor laundry room saving us time, money and renovation hassle! We were so pleased, we hired her to design the entire renovation including an addition to the master suite. Her knowledge and expertise gave us the home of our dreams. Her design gave us beauty, comfort, functionality, great space usage and so much more. We love our home and we highly recommend using Northwest Design House!

Northwest Design House has designed both my kitchen and bath. I could not be more pleased with the end result. The entire design process was exciting and stress free. The pricing was upfront making quality design accessible to everyone. I originally ran across Northwest Design House while grabbing a cup of coffee from the North Albany Starbucks. I stopped to browse their adorable studio where I initially went in to check the price on a pillow and left with a design consultation scheduled.

Calling 17 minutes before our appointment to change it was very rude. Doing so a week after the appointment was changed by your office, to suit your timeline is extremely unprofessional. Minimizing my honest feedback by saying that you are sorry you didnt meet my timeline is shoddy, dishonorable, and immature. I changed my appointments around to meet with you and your flagrant disregard for my time is shocking. I honestly had the desire to utilize this service. I filled out a request for information on their website. I waited. Three days later they called and set up an appointment. That evening, another person called to say they were sorry they hadnt contacted me. I informed her that Id made an appointment earlier that day. The soonest appointment I could get was three weeks out. Since then, the appointment has changed because the time wasnt right for them. This is extremely unprofessional, if they cant handle their appointments, I have little value over their work.I will search for this type of service elsewhere.

Everything in their store is so pretty! I just purchased some pillows from them that are super comfy and I love them, I cant wait to get more! I really enjoy how helpful the ladies are that work there. It made for a great shopping experience, Ill definitely be back.

Whats not to love about an all in one design, remodel, window coverings, and furniture boutique under one roof staffed by enthusiastic engaging design experts right in North Albany? Admittedly, Im a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to committing to one look and feel for our home that Ill have to live with for the duration. Heather at NWDH has created cool design packages that allow putting a toe in the water both decision making and budget-wise. Im an educated, successful career woman but am prone to decision paralysis when it comes to the myriad of timely choices needed in a design process. Thankfully, (truly!) Heather has created a couple of perfect-for-me packages that work for my current budget and where my choices are made easy because, as my personal shopper, she has narrowed down all of the options into one or two, thorough packages. I can totally deal with that. Easy, smart, stress free and fun too!

A woman was driving their van today in Albany and nearly drove two people off the road at a merging point and didnt use a turn signal. If their attention to detail and quality is anything like their driving, then this place is awful.
