After losing our home due to hurricane Michael we had to purchase all new furniture. Railway freight was recommended by a friend, and did not disappoint. They offer a large selection of several different manufacturers. We had shopped around at several different stores, their prices beat all of them. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rick and Chad went above and beyond to make our furniture buying an enjoyable experience. If you need furniture I highly recommend this place. If you dont live near, it is definitely worth the drive.

I bought furniture from them before. They have really great stuff, but difficult to shop online. You have to have a SKU # for the item you want pricing on & put in a request to get a price. Great place to shop IN PERSON at their Albany location. Huge selection. No way you would leave empty handed.

The furniture they have is a great price and they are very nice. That all changes once they have your money. We were promised delivery on a certain day. They blatantly lied about trying to deliver our furniture. We live on base and know that no trucks had tried to come through even though they said they did. My husband called the store to figure it out and the lady kept hanging up on him. Would never buy from them again. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Oh yeah, the place to go to buy furniture....it is like a covered football field of furniture....bought a small sofa. bedroom suit bed, matterest, dresser night stand & chest of draws 5 drawer....lamps good furniture.I could work there and sell furniture all day...my favorite furniture store in Albany, Ga location.....they dilevered at my request ON TIME ALSO....Set it all up in about an hour.....also the delevire guys where great....I even gave them a nice tip....Railway Freight in Albany Georgia have it going on....THANK YOU RAILWAY FREIGHT YOU WERE GREAT!!! Just about every piece of furniture in my house came from Railway Freight in Albany. The best thing about them is that you can take the furniture home the same day most of the time and you dont have to wait weeks for them to have it ordered. Prices are also very competitive with Ashley Homestore and Turners Budget Furniture. They have a huge warehouse full of furniture for every room from the kitchen/dining room, bedroom and living room. They also have accessories such as pictures and lamps.

American Freight was very clean, furniture was in stock and didnt have to wait months for ordering. Customer service was wonderful!

They had beautiful merchandise I bought my daughter a blinged out dresser and she loved it!

Horrible experience!!!. I actually was going to purchase furniture for my new place. I walked in no one spoke and people walked past me and never said a word. I stayed in the store 15 minutes and no one said anything to me. I said going out let me walk past the register on purpose thinking ok maybe someone will say something. NOT!!! I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone😳

My significant other and I recently tried to make a purchase from this location as a gift for someone who resides in the Albany area. We resided in Atlanta. We decided to use one of the finance options due to it being Christmas time. After receiving approval, one finance company decided not to finalize the account due to the furniture being located in Albany, and us in Atlanta. We went with the second finance option (Synchrony). We called and spoke with Charlotte and she was extremely rude and even called us frauds. She didnt bother to listen to a word that was stated and even hung up the call after over talking us. Called back and spoke with the Manager, Kevin. He too, gave us a hard time after all of our documents and identification had been verified. He kept insisting we come in the store to sign the invoice. I even asked him to email the invoice, we would sign it and overnight the document back if he needed an original signature. He declined; which made no sense because you can make a purchase on-line and never be seen. We chose this location because the gift is for someone in Albany. This company really made me like I was a fraudulent individual trying to scam them for a $500 sofa. I am more than certain that if we were Caucasian, no questions, would have been asked. Its sad when honest people try to do good, they receive this treatment.

I went back and can say that I now understand how things are done here. Ive been twice in the past 2 days. I went here first and then went to numerous other places in 3 counties, well I returned to Railway and got hands-down the absolute best customer service! Also, Im getting my purchase delivered in days not weeks! I still LOVE their Mexico furniture and believe its priced right! During the pandemic, Railway went above and beyond and I made a purchase then, too. Thanks yall! I will be seeing you again soon !!!

Our experience at Railway was awesome. They were very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. Rick waited patiently on us as he helped us pick out a living room suite. The prices are very affordable and they have many avenues to accommodate paying for your furniture. It was a great experience and I would advise anyone to shop here. They have everything you need.

If you want some decent furniture for a discount price, check out this place. We walked a bit but found the perfect love seat, tables and rug for our conference room. They also have a selection of accessories and we bought extra pillows for the love seat. We really like the result and the room. Ill post a pic soon.

Friendly no pressure shopping experience .They didnt have what we wanted but went out of their way and found the make and color living room set for us we bought it.

I had to return a box spring (they delivered the wrong size) and got into a very uncomfortable argument with the manager. Old guy with grey hair. Very rude and condescending. Nice salesman though. Lost my business over a box spring. Wow

So I was blocked and had to go under another name to make a review. I am Jasmine hills and I do not have to hide and Im not trying to make trouble but I am truly disappointed with this company!So here is an update I only had my bed for 5 months and guess what! Its broken!So not only did I have a hard bed! But a bad quality of bed frame as well! I guess I get what I pay for thats what yall call it! Or what makes more sense to me is the company I chose to give my money too! I find it so amusing that you guys would sell people knock off products, I paid good money for my things! If folks pay you any kind of money that they worked hard for to purchase things that they thought should last until they get ready to upgrade thier furniture! This is ridiculous, Im willing to bet anything that its more folks like me who have some type of issues with you guys! I know this company is not the best in town! I wish I would have search a little more that way I would have had a different options before I pick the first one I went too! But you guys got me, trust me this is truly a lesson for me a bad experience I must say! One that Im not pleased with at all, I am very disappointed! I normally dont write on these reviews but today I Will! I was lied too from the beginning I was told I was purchasing a 479.00 matress and it was suppose to be soft! Instaed I got a matress that feels as if Im laying on rocks!When I try to return it! They give me a hard time. I was told I had to put a 100.00 more on a mattress that I paid the same price for and that I didnt pay 479.00 for the first one but I have my reciept, I work alot of hours and I travel away from home alot! So I have not had time to even use the bed! they Were very rude about returning it and worse trying to get a refund Im very upset about my experience with this company! I would not recommend anyone to go here! What makes it worse I talk to the boss who name is Chad you would think he know how to have great customer service! Instead he try to mock me and as I was walking away very disappointed with the reactions I just experience and still no new mattress or no refund! him and his employers were laughing! Very bad experience!!! I will not be going back there ever again!
