Four years ago, I stopped at the Clifton Park location of Glenn Peters Diamond Centre to pick out my wedding band. I had such a wonderful experience then, that when a stone fell out of my engagement ring, it was the first place that popped into my mind. Thank goodness I went there! Not only was the pricing very reasonable, but I had a similar experience, like the one I had four years before. Though some of the faces have changed, they were able to provide me the same quality and experience that I expected because of that first visit. I came here to have a ring appraised and the staff was so cool! Mary and Sarah really seemed excited and willing to help me out and I just had a really pleasant experience overall. I never had any beautiful jewelry pieces before and I felt like these women were very happy and eager to help me out. Jason was able to appraise my ring very quickly and accurately! Seriously amazing staff I felt like I was talking with my girlfriends and telling them the funny story of how i ended up with the piece. I have made the decision this will be my engagement ring and my boyfriend will have to pay to get a custom wedding band by Glennpeters. Mary and Tracy assisted me in redesigning a sentimental vintage diamond ring. The center diamond was obscured by the multiple tiny diamonds surrounding it. It is now a round solitaire on a traditional gold band showing off its size and sparkle. So happy, and always many compliments! Thank you!

I know they have 2 other locations but I decided on this one as it was recommended by a friend. Let me tell you, what a beautiful place. It is modern, clean, professional and most importantly theres a bar. Yes a bar where they serve wine, beer, and soft drinks. Its really not the most important thing but its a really nice touch. Everyone there was dressed professional and were extremely pleasant.I spoke with the general manager and she was extremely knowledgeable. Not really sure at what I was going to purchase she gave me some great suggestions. No pressure at all. All in all I had a great buying experience and I highly recommend Glennpeter Jewelers to everyone. Keep up the great community service you do. Not many businesses are doing that and its a great touch.

I worked with Nate Ryan and was very inviting, respectful, and professional during my visit. He took very good care of my watch and took his time to make sure it was in perfect working condition. On top of that he also cleaned up my Ray-Ban Justin’s without me having to ask. He is the exact reason why I will be returning to Glennpeter in the future. If you have an issue with your watch or anything with jewelry, Nate is the person you have to see. There isn’t many people out there anymore that go that go above and beyond, and that’s one of the major things I look for. Thanks so much Nate!

I went in while home for a few days and Nate was so helpful in finding my Father a Father’s day gift. He helped me find the perfect pocket watch in the color I wanted, and right in my price range. Couldn’t have done it without him!

I have had an unusual experiance at Glenn Peters in Colonie Center that goes beyond great customer service. This experience has left us truly speechless. Heres what happened: A few years ago,my daughter became engaged and her and her fiancee brought the ring in to get sized.. But they never picked the ring up and the wedding never took place,her fiancee died. She couldnt bare to go get her engagement ring. She had a baby with her fiancee. She was heartbroken. It took about 5 years for her to finally feel like she could get the ring without feeling devastated, she hadnt even been able to talk about it all this time.But so much time had passed. We werent sure the ring would even still be there. After all, no one ever went back to claim it. What happens in cases that rings are abandoned? We didnt know. So i called the store and asked if they possibly had it. A quick look in the computer said there was a record of it being brought in, but of course,never picked up. The question then became, where is the ring and what do we need to do to get it back?I was directed to call back and ask for the manager. However, the manager, Dawn was told the story and she called me.She explained that she couldnt make promises but that she heard the story and would do all she could to help me find it. That was an understatement. There were a few vaults that jewelers used that it could be in, or it could have been sent with abandoned property to the state. I talked with Dawn a little more and she told me she was determined to find itI met her at the store, looked through books to find something similar so that she would know what to look for. She told me to try to find out where it was purchased to have something to go on. She was willing to call wherever it was purchased from, to help in the search for it,but she needed details about what it looked like and I tried to remember but hadnt seen it in years.Valentines day was coming up quickly and she worked hard to find the ring, hoping to give it back to her by then. After meeting with her a second time, (she was very generous with her time) I went home, encouraged by Dawns determination to find the ring, and feeling like i would probabaly need to find out how to retrieve the ring from the state, and I started the search through records to find the purchase of the ring.To my shock, Dawn called me. One of the vaults was opened and she started looking. She found the ring! She looked through about 75 boxes in search of it.So in Valentines Day,I brought my daughter to the store, where Dawn surprised my daughter with a wrapped gift to open. She opened the box, the Dawn had wrapoed, and saw her ring! My daughter had no idea, and burst into tears, we all cried.Now my daughter has one thing to give her son, something from his father. I cannot say enough about Dawn and her helpfullness, her kindness. She went above and beyond to find this ring for my daughter and we will never forget her kindness and determination to set things right.There is more to her kindness and generosity in this story,but Ill keep that part between us.Thanks again Dawn.(hugs)

More than 15 years ago I was recommended by a friend to go see Dawn in the Colonie Center store when I was looking for an engagement ring for my wife. From that day on, Dawn has been our family jeweler. Shopping for jewelry can be highly personal and intimidating process. Dawn makes that process very easy and comfortable. She does not in any way present herself as a typical salesperson. I see her as a friend giving me trusted advice. I will not shop with anyone else.

Seen the lady that works here that drives a $130,000 “fisker karma” park at a Walmart in Schenectady and was nice enough to take up 2 spots right in the front with the Glenn peters jewelry sign right on the door! Thank god it said it on the side otherwise I would had no idea who the lady was who thinks she needs two parking spots with your car. Never visited you guys and probably won’t now. This happened at Walmart on Altamont Avenue in Schenectady around 9 am this morning.

All of the staff are very helpful. They treat you so nice and you can take your time picking out what you need. The selection is very good.
