Good customer service but WAY OVERPRICED! They tried to charge me $99 dollars to send a 9x11 envelope with 2 cards in it to the Philippines. Ups charged me $3.10. I would have thought this was a fluke but they tried charging my friend $60 bux to ship a small box in the USA.....SHE too went elsewhere and it was only $20.

The staff are all knowledgeable and sincerely friendly. From sending packages to troublesome fax the ladies always keep a smile on their face and a good attitude. It took 7 tries before my fax was sent thru to the waiting receiver. And even with their fax machine stating all was good,

This shipping girl has quite a lot to learn about serving the public and fulfilling her contract with the UPS people. Im sure theres something in her contract about treating people with dignity and respect. If not, perhaps she didnt learn what that was way back when.She told me I had to drive 10-15 miles away to Corvallis in order to drop off a return (already labeled) package that UPS had brought to my door in delivery. No scan was necessary in my case. God forbid if you asked to breathe any air while youre there.Im sure theres NOTHING in her contract that says nothing can be dropped off, regardless of the company it originated from. If shes going to knit-pick something because UPS sent something that I purchased from Amazon, then she isnt fulfilling her contract- which she proudly displays a sign on her FRONT WINDOW saying she is a UPS contracted site.Theres also a UPS substation out on hi-way 34, where each one of us who has been treated so rudely would contact either in person or by phone and complain straight to UPS and those who granted her contract.What I did do: I found a UPS truck and was able to give this return package to the driver. I also informed him of the way people are treated at the shipping store, and told him about the other complaints here on this review site. He promised to alert his superiors as to this situation, and gave me their direct phone number on hi-way 34. Next time, if I ever have the disadvantage of visiting this place, I will be recording her and others, and will present this smart mouth attitude that so easily attacks people who come there to do business. WHAT A WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE.....(YUKE!)

I have been a customer and a renter of my mailbox, since moving to Albany in 2014. Always the best one-on-one customer service. Roger, the owner of the ‘Shipping Store’, is a very down-to-earth friendly person. He will and does, go far beyond to provide the best quality services for packaging, posting, labeling and shipping. The rates for the rented mailboxes are very reasonable compared to USPS or other similar businesses. My mail and packages are always secured and I don’t have to worry about the safety of my personal mail, unlike what I have to worry about my mailbox close to my house.

Super rude staff. Got mad at me for asking for a receipt and refused to give one, said they only email receipts (huh, cause every other store I have ever shipped from or purchased anything from gives you a receipt, even during Corona), got mad, indignant, and rude because I asked about there email sharing policy. Overall bad experience. I shipped a lot of stuff through there but I always sent staff. I will never use this place again. They just lost a customer for life.

Please remove your listing as a UPS store if youre unable to perform all of (and some of the most important) functions they offer. I thought I was saving time but wasted a good amount and finding out you cant scan basic QR codes.Not a review on service or products.

2.5x the price of actual USPS cost. Guess it back to making sure i have cash for the USPS contract unit at Carriage House Plaza or take the time at the downtown Post Office.Not really secure for prepaids either. Took 3 days to have a prepaid ups package scanned.There are alternative options in town:no issues with dropping prepaid FedEx at Walgreens or prepaid UPS at postal connections by Fred Meyer. We have started using carrier pick up for USPS prepaidsThe little shop, Goin Postal in North Albany by Southpaws has been really great to work a with as well. The employee has even assisted me in getting multiple packages from my vehicle.And for Amazon returns, Kohls has started taking them (before C19)

I will drive 30 minutes from my office in Salem to use this shipping service. I mostly use for my companys shipping needs but I trusted them to pack & ship my grandmothers fine china and it got to southern California without a scratch or chip! I love being able to just walk in and say make this disappear and reappear in another state and BAM--its gone! Expensive cell phones to bulky binders, they do it all. Excellent, reliable, personalized service. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

They had everything I needed to ship my packages. They offer shipping for multiple major postal services and have supplies that you can buy there. They are a bit run down but my packages arrive promptly and had very little wait time. All in all I would use them again.

I had a great experience with the two ladies that were working at the time, I brought in a bunch of guitar effect pedals and a pedalboard with labels I had printed out from OfferUp, and they packed all the stuff up perfectly and shipped it out for me. Highly recommend it, will definitely be coming here again for the convenience and the service! 😊

Went in to return something to Amazon and they couldnt print the label there :/ Left store and backed up over a concrete divider, too low for backup camera and not painted any color. No damage, that I could tell. Not going back tho- not a good experience. Someone needs to paint the concrete, at the very least! Geez!!Update July 2019I see they have now painted the concrete. Good!

Consistent service. This is a shipping outlet agent for UPS, FedEx and USPS and they do charge over published rates. Its a convenience charge and thats how they make their money, just like all the other shipping places. If you can drive to Tangent or Corvallis to the actual UPS and FedEx stations then do it, but as far as over the counter shipping in Albany, this is the place to go

Lost pkg. Found it 3 days later at THEIR store. Cost me $29.81 to fed ex 2 Cpap masks overnight, as of today still not deliveredThey only offered me 5 dollars back when I asked for a full refund. The only thing that was good, is the lady did tell me the truth. Very disappointed.

Been in this store 100 times or more always terrible service but today the old guy said he would rather me injure my back then use his hand dolly and accosted me outside when I said he was rude because I used his scale to weigh a item to ship through UPS and didnt purchase through him I will never go there again not gonna spend my hard earned money at a place like that I recommend you dont either plus his rates are higher so do your shipping were your treated professional and curtious at all times I will be contacting UPS customers relations on the matter good luck

Poor customer serviceThe younger gentleman that helped me was rude and seemed like his attitude was just off. I walked in with package in box and taped up, smile on my face and said, Alright I need to ship this package and have never shipped one before. The gentleman looked me in the eyes and responded with,Clearly. I immediately winced and decided not to address this issue with him. The remaining conversation was all normal but he really started off in an unprofessional light. I will not be bringing my business here again.

The staff isnt all too friendly, but this place is convenient to drop off already labeled UPS and FedEx returns, but its very primitive. They arent able to scan anything in to provide a drop off receipt, what they are able to provide you with looks like something that was typed up in Word.

I called at 3 PM Friday to see if I could get my my envelope shipped with delivery for Saturday. They said as long as I was there by 4PM, it would be fine. We drove 40 minutes and arrived at around 3:40 PM only to be told we were too late. The clerk said the truck just left and he didnt know they had an early pick up.I asked if the driver could be called back since he just left and we had been misinformed. He said they could try to meet the truck and get our envelope on it as promised. After entering the info into his computer, he quoted a price of over $100 for this envelope. Once we returned home, I input all the information on the website and found the cost to be $42. I dont know if the clerk was intentionally lying about the price or just really, really bad at his job. Either way, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Worst place Ive ever gone to ship something. They did a horrible wrapping job, which they charged me $4 for. After that, they tried to gouge me on shipping costs. Ive shipped many of the same item for $20-30 and they quoted me at over $90. Go to a regular UPS store and stay away from their garbage.
