Awesome Receptionist and Doctor! Every time I have been seen for an exam... I have been treated with patience compassion and concern.Today I arrived with my four year old. For my exam .The doctor had so much patience with my little man . He answered every question my four year old had . It blow my mind . He didnt have to and he did .I highly recommend this Office for exams and contacts.

Good selection of glasses. Doctor doing exam was thorough and professional. His receptionist was good as well.. A couple of people out front in frame sales were kind of unprofessional in some way but I got what I came for and satisfied. I feel bad for even mentioning my observation in the front sales section because it wasnt that bad.The Doctor is fantastic! Ill definitely returnI just wanted to add that the RX filled is probably the best pair Ive ever received. I can see clearer than I ever have before out of 4 other places I have been to in the past. Also to note that I have macular degeneration which is apparently not able to be repaired surgically. I am very satisfied with the doctors knowledge and talent in accommodating my vision to see decent for a change. I cant stress how thankful I am.

The owner/manager of this Vision works is very disrespectful to customers. I walked in and overheard him yelling an an elderly woman about a coupon she brought in. She was very confused about the offer and instead of calmly explaining, he burst out loud enough that people in the mall could hear! I only went in because I needed adjustments to my frames. After he made the older woman leave the store, he walked over to me and sharply asked what do you want? I told him I needed an adjustment. He took the glasses from my hands and said absolutely nothing to me as he was working on them. So rude!!! I cannot believe that hes been able to stay in business so long with this level of anger! Will never come back!

Ive been coming here for my annual vision check and new glasses/contacts for a while. Every time I am met by an amazing team of people. Fast and thorough vision exam and knowledgeable sales associates. Highly recommend.

Awesome doctor who went above and beyond for me today! He was very nice, patient, and down to earth. I am always nervous going to these type of appointments and Just talking to him over the phone made me feel At ease going there. Everything I needed was done for me in one day, very happy and will continue to drive from Salem to go here in the future.

FREE ADJUSTMENTS!While moving to the area, my glasses had gotten smashed under a box. Even though I’ve never been to vision works before - they helped me anyway! They were able to unbend the legs & nose pieces so I could comfortably wear my glasses. I’m so grateful, this place will take good care of you - thanks guys!

This is round 2 on fixing the glasses. We will see if round 2 makes the glasses prescription lenses better. The staff have been trying.

Super expensive and while we were there, 2 other customers left because the employees were being rude while another customer was ignored and ended up leaving as well.

Nice place. Good screening. They took pics of my eyes and showed them to me, checked every thing. Except walk inns and apts, but walking in the store was confusing. There were like four different desks all arranged sideways and you dont know who exactly to talk to. They had sale going on was cool, but there computers were down and they couldnt look up my insurance so that was kinda frustrating, but at least I was able to get a prescription.

I have been in the store maybe 7 or 8 times for ordering glasses or having adjustments made. Thought Id better do a review because all my visits have been good ones. Jennifer in particular has been very patient, thorough and informative in dealing with this senior citizen. .

This outfit sure has a racket going on. My wife and I purchased glasses at our local Visionworks. I specifically requested scratch protection coating on both my clear glasses and sunglasses. We went out of the way to buy their special glasses spray and wipes just to make sure we were doing everything we could to protect our investment. The very FIRST time I cleaned my glasses they were scratched. Needless to say, I was a bit hot under the collar. I went back to the store the next day. The lady I spoke with was pleasant enough, and dutifully clickety clacked on the keyboard to check my order only to offer up, well it says you got the scratch coating. I pulled my glasses off my face and put them up in front of her to show her the scratches, to which the employee said, I certainly see some scratches, but your file says you got the scratch protection....Im not really sure there is anything I can do for you. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place like the plague. If Google hadnt made me, this would be a no star rating.

Fraudulent Business. This is the BIGGEST scam out there! I cant believe this con game of a company hasnt been closed down yet.The 2 for $29 gimmick is another sham they use. It is a misleading ruse because each pair adds additional charges like lens material, vision, any lens shield even if you wear standard non-glare glasses, add it all, times 2.A fast one that changed me from customer to victim is called extortion. After filling out all paperwork and apparently needing an eye exam, they did not tell me that my insurance wouldnt cover my exam. There went $150.My eye glasses are used from a left frontal lobe stroke. My optho-neurologist and disability insurance has never taken additional money from me than what is already being deducted.After paying them for nothing and listening to the wretched people that work there, I found out, they work off of commission.By using misleading tricks to lie and gouge you, is how they obtain their pay checks.Do the research, and find a company that is worth your business.

Great service when I walked in they were very friendly and very informative I ended getting my glasses from them and i was told if fir some reason I had an issue to come back, which i did the glasses would slide off my face and Matthew was very friendly and assisted me and fixed it...it was an easy fix but I do appreciate Matthew and his patience.

So, while my prescription has been wrong two times and has had to be sent back twice, the girl I dealt with, Shannon deserves an A++ in customer service. She was kind and understanding while I was dealing with a frustrating situation. She searched for a frame for me and found it and tried her best to rectify an annoying problem with my prescription. I appreciate her help and kindness. This goes a long way in a situation like this. Thank you Shannon.

So glad I decided to make an appointment here! Today was the first time in years that I got my eyes checked. It Dr. Drobeck was so nonjudgy. That was why I had avoided going to the eye doctor in so long because my old one was super judgmental and condescending. I was put right at ease by all the staff and had things explained to me about my eyes in a way that made sense without explaining it to me like I was stupid. Thank you Dr. Drobeck!

Please do not waste your time getting your eyes checked here, especially for contacts. I started the process in July and it’s now mid-October and I still do not have contacts! Long story short.....the customer service by the receptionist is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any place of business. Two appointments were canceled on me and I was not informed, leaving me paying for child care to arrive at these appointments. One appointment they didn’t even order my trial pair of contacts so that was a third appointment that I arrived for that was pointless. The doctor was constantly having to correct, in front of me, the older receptionist that was responsible for all of these mistakes. This lady literally has no clue what is going on, her head is completely in the clouds and has cost me a lot of time and money. I’m not sure how they can continue to run their practice with such bad customer service. When and if I actually receive my contact lenses I will NEVER, EVER return to this place and I recommend no one else waste their time either.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They scheduled 3 appointments wrong. I had a girl schedule me to come in and have my eyes checked on a SUNDAY. Theyre not open on a Sunday, I had read this and expressed the sentiment. Your website says you dont have doctors in on Sundays the receptionist assured me that sometimes they do for appointments. Drove there, guess what? THERES NO DOCTORS ON SUNDAYS. Like I said, took 3 appointments and trips there before I could actually be seen (wasnt in the system the other times. Then later they found me in the system). During the exam the doctor tried to tack on extra exam charges without telling me. Finally got my prescription (they didnt give me a copy of it) and left. Payed for my contacts and asked over the phone for a copy of my prescription. They didnt send a copy of my prescription and took a month to get my contacts. Turns out they ordered the wrong contacts. They sent me home with the contacts I tried first in the office that I had a bad reaction to. Put them in today and was wondering why they were irritating my eyes so much. Vaguely remembered the contact case looking different than the ones I currently have and called them to check the situation. They ordered the wrong contacts. Now its to the point where I cant see very well because my eyes are so swollen. These people are absolutely incompetent. I wouldnt trust them to staple papers together let alone take care of your eyesight needs. Go somewhere else.

Great location for new eyeglasses. Darlene was very helpful during the process of selection and adjusting the glasses when they were ready.

Something is really wrong here. In February I got glasses at Visionworks in Albany. And the frames and lenses came back wrong. The manager very patiently went about fixing the problem for me, something that meant a new frame and new lenses. They seemed to work but as I tried to wear them I found they were still not right. Because my prescription doesnt change much I went back to my old pair. I stuck the new glasses in a drawer thinking Id get around to asking for new lenses some time. This month -- end of April-- I went back to Visionworks to see if I could get them to grind me new lenses. Chelyce listened to me very carefully. She made terrific eye contact. I asked her to tell me what a new set of lenses-- sort of exactly what I had in my old prescription -- would cost. I assumed I was going to pay for these out of pocket. Instead, she put together yet another do over package for me. I was dumbfounded. There is something not right about a company doing that! Chelyce said it is their goal to make sure the customer is happy. Visionworks gives them the slack to do that. The manager, who overheard me, said its old school customer service. It dates to a time when buying gas meant getting your windshield washed, and your oil and tire pressure checked. We agreed that just doesnt happen anymore. Except at visionworks. Happily, there is something really wrong, or out of step, with current business practices at that shop. They have my business. Check them out.

Aweful company! Will never be doing business here. My first clue to walk away should have been when I was in the store picking out eye glasses. A woman walked in with a NEW newspaper ad of theirs and was told it was a mis print and they would not be honoring it, I stated to the employee how I felt and that it seemed to me best practice would be to honor a simple coupon that was actually for the week prior than to loose customer for ever and she told me that clearly we work for different companys because thats not how they do business. I brushed it off and continued with being fitted and quoted for my new glasses, today (2 days later) I call to get the fax number to send in my RX the gentleman that I spoke to told me that the employee that helped me on Sunday quoted me wrong and he could not honor what she quoted me. On to somewhere that cares about their customer service.

Great customer service, repaired my glasses in minutes.

Went in in May. Two Dr. exams, two pairs of glasses and 14 visits later, I am still not happy. One pair broke and the both pairs had to be superglued together. I made them give me a refund, but they couldnt be bothered with letting me know when it would be returned to my account. I I asked for silicone nosepads and did not get them. Writing this in October and I just got back from the 14th visit and finally got the nose pieces. Easily the worst retail experience of my life. Never, ever again. I had better luck online and they will talk you out of that, stating that you cant get the measurements you need. Well, you can and I have done that. Not sure why I gave these guys a second chance. Go anywhere else.

I scheduled an appointment for my son, I explained he has ohp. They told me to fill out paperwork online prior to going there. I did. When I got there they couldnt find it. They seemed like selling a new test that is not covered by insurance was the biggest priority. I ended up buying it. It yielded no new information. Ok fine, whatever, so after the exam, went to pick glasses. The vision works people did not take ohp so we had to buy glasses someplace else. How inconvenient! Particularly since I asked specifically before we went there. I understand the doctor is not the same as the eyeglass sellers. The receptionist could have mentioned the fact we would have to go someplace else to fill his eyeglass prescription. When I mentioned the inconvenience, both the ladies at the desk said they were unaware. It seems to me that they should be aware, because they do business hand-in-hand. It is just poor service, they should know and be able to convey these things to potential customers. If they had, they would have no review instead of a poor one.

A little over a month ago I bought glasses for myself. I have horrible vision so my frame selection was limited. I found a pair i liked. Got them back they pinched my ears. I went back a total of 6 times to get them adjusted. They still pinch and are to loose. $400 down the drain because I cant wear them. There was supposed to be a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. The kept adjusting til I ran out of time. I wasnt0 satisfied after the first adjustment. I am now back to wearing my old glasses. Visionworks is in the next town over from me so it was a hassle to go multiple times. Wish I had never stepped door in there. Waste of my hard earned money $400 is not easy to come by living in Corvallis.

I called after work,which is across the street from this location, to set up an appt. just now and was put on hold. After about 5 minutes, I decided to drive across and walk in. I kept the call going and I got there about 10 minutes into the call, still on hold, and walked into the mall and then into the store. I still had the call going while I was looking at the glasses and the two receptionist we just chatting at the desk while another worker was helping someone. I stood there looking while they still chatted with each other and the call dropped after 15 minutes. I will not be a customer.
