Dont go here, especially for TSA Precheck. The computers are always down and as a result will always have a long line even WITH an appointment.I understand that retail work is difficult. I understand there needs to be patience and understanding between customers and workers, especially during this time.However, when everybody at the store has a bad attitude and cannot fulfill the services you offer, it makes it hard to support this location.Save your money, save your sanity. Literally go someplace else.
The worst customer service I have experienced. My fiancé and I printed our save the dates here on a specific type of card stock which is not the product we received. When he picked them up and asked about the product he was told “it was his order” and the employee walked away. The next day we both went in to ask about the type of card stock to see if there was someone more helpful to talk to and possibly see if this could be fixed. The employee we talked to then told us that we were wrong and then picked up a phone call on her cell phone in the middle of our conversation. Wishing I had never spent my money here and will not be doing so again. There’s no need to be so blatantly rude when we just came in looking for help.

A big joke. Come here if you want a lack of communication, bad customer service “what is your question? (In a snarky voice)” and be sent home because they can’t get the item until tomorrow and then it’s not even ready when you arrive. Also they don’t pick up their phones.
Every time I place an online order, my name is not on the pickup receipt at the store. Even though it’s listed on the pickup email. I order online to make it a quick trip and it turns into a headache EVERY TIME! Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.
Had a great experience this morning with the young man on UPS area. Kept busy by a few people asking questions and had a smile on his face the whole time. Easy process to email the shipping label I had for a package to the store for Staples to print out.

Always loved Staples. If they dont have what I need they can get it. Also Ive purchased a number of my devices (laptop, printer, etc.) when on sale and have gotten some excellent deals.
Good selection of products. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices seem high in comparison to similar stores. Sale items are good finds. Rewards Program and Ink Recycling Program is nice to have.
Just bought a brand new iPhone XS Max yesterday and wanted to had a liquid armor. I expected they were good since I used to get new screens there. After doing the liquid armor, I find that they left some scratches on the corner of my brand new expensive iPhone!!!The liquid armor was supposed to prevent scratches, and they already got me some good scratches when installing it!And this is just the beginning of the nightmare. They agreed to find some “solutions” for me, the manager said he would call me the next day between 12 and 2 pm.But this noon, no call until 2 pm. Surprise, surprise! I called. Someone picked the phone and said they would go and get Matt. And THEY JUST LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR ALMOST 20 MINUTES UNTIL THE CALL DROPPED BY ITSELF!!!!!! I called again and the same. They seem used to just hide and ignore until you have no time to waste and retreat.UPDATE 1: the manager called me and apologized. And he quickly refunded me the money I paid yesterday. So I changed the review from 1-star to 2-star.Update 2: I complained to their president’s office. They responded quite well. The shop manager agrees to compensate me the whole amount of money I paid to buy this phone from Best Buy so I can get a new one. So I decided to upgrade the review to 3-star.Update 3: It has been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for their compensation check. The manager told me that the check is still “waiting for signature”!Update 4: The check finally arrived this Monday by mail. So this thing finally comes to an end. It takes almost a month.
Hey Vito the store manager of staples on central avenue in Albany ny!! Your salespeople sold me the wrong cartridge for my HP printer it cost me $125!! Yes I bought it this summer, the cartridge is unopened!! I tried to return it to get the right cartridge and you won’t take it back to just exchange it!! Shame on you!!! I’m calling corporate this is not acceptable, train your sales people or have them look it up in the system to make sure they are giving your customer the correct product!! Don’t shop at staples!! Yup your correct I’m not happy!! Bad customer service!
Went to Staples today to have some office brochures bound. Customer service representative at the counter barely looked up from her desk 10 feet away to address me when I arrived. When she finally raised her eyes long enough to see what I needed bound, she quickly returned back to her original focus while I was still explaining what I needed done on a fairly important document. I then asked for the manager and she seemed even less interested or concerned that there was even an issue. I walked to the manager and asked Beth for help but she didnt know how to provide the necessary tabs I needed. I give her an A for honesty. I then informed her that the customer service rep on the printing counter was extremely unprofessional and given her role needed additional mentoring from management if the store expected to retain customers. I also informed Beth that the sales reps attitude reflected a leadership/management failure. Beth informed me she would speak with the sales rep.All in all a pretty disgraceful experience with this Staples store. Would not recommend them for any of your printing needs. If you want to be ignored and have your important printing requirements handled unprofessionally then by all means take a trip down to this garden spot. If I were you, however, Id avoid it like the Zika virus.
Helpful employees and great selection of home and office needs
$2.29 per page to fax out of state here and they make you get a card to use the machines which always ends up with change they get to keep every time. You keep the card but with the frequency I go here it always gets lost or I forget about it. Its a rip off. Better off seeking other sources for faxing and copying. On the other hand they have good prices on weird stuff you wouldnt even expect them to sell like case or jugs of water.....go figure.
My handheld fell in some water, so I brought it in for the Staples techs to hopefully repair with their weird ball bearing machine. The woman in charge was kind enough to give it a try, despite the fact we had to stay a few minutes after close. Thanks so much!

I was originally very upset with this Staples Printing Department. They hired a new manager and that department has completely turned around. I visit Staples once a week due to my job and Abby and Tash are so good to me! They know my name when i walk in, they are very diligent, they do their absolute best to get my order to me. Go Tash and Abby!!
Tom was a great help today. I think he is one of the managers because he was there as soon as the store opened (and, he acted like a manager). What I mean by that is, he knew what he was doing in every area of the store, was very focused and helpful as soon as he was made aware that a customer (me) needed help. I am thankful he was there because my print project was coming to an immediate deadline in about 30 minutes and thanks to Tom, not one moment was wasted. I felt like I was the only customer in the store.Well... I actually WAS the only customer in the store... HA!BUT... he was trying to get all the opening procedures done and EVEN THOUGH I was the only customer in the store, he paid attention to what I needed to get accomplished as IF there was a huge line of people behind me giving him dirty looks for having to wait on line for two seconds.I put THIS particular STAPLES on my Business Resources list and I WILL drive all the way across town JUST because of how Tom helped me. Bravo, sir... and thank you.
For the third time in a row I have had a less then stellar experience. The customer service is horrible and they have no clue what they are doing. I come in every month with the same order to have a project printed and they seem to keep getting it wrong. Today was the icing on the cake when after pointing out to them they messed up again they tried to charge me to reprint the project correctly. Not only are they reprinting it for free, I demanded an apology and told them the correct way to provide good customer service. I have worked in customer service and while the customer isnt always right, you try to solve the problem the best you can. You dont tell them they are wrong and then try to charge them more. The management lacks knowledge of how to work in the print center and even less knowledge on how to handle customers. The low prices arent worth the headache I get dealing with the incompetence. Id rather pay more money and know my project will be printed right the first time and without an attitude.
I purchased a laptop (HP Pavilion) from this store and it was intermittently glitching and would freeze. I thought Id have a huge hassle on my hands trying to get it resolved because I had the computer for a couple of months but Matt, the manager, kindly swapped it out for me and gave me a new computer with no hassle at all. This is why I prefer to buy my computers in-store and not on-line. Cant beat the personal service. Had a brand new computer in-hand within a day.
Very friendly and helpful staff and the shop seems to have everything. We were looking for stuff like a cardboard poster tube. They got it. Even Polaroid Instax Pics they got. And the prices on the stationary are almost unbeatable.

Only used the print services. Brought in my own special paper and after explaining that the paper was very expensive and needed to go in with the top to print on top and asked for a sample sheet to be run to ensure they had it correct Sammy put the paper in upside down twice. Finally after 2 additional tries she figured it out and got it correct then had the nerve to charge me for her error. Yes I would have complained but she was the mgr. All told to print 2 sheets ot cost me $18.00 in materials and $.35 in print charges. Where do they train these people?
Copy center guy and gal always ready to help me out with printing documents from my thumb drive. Other than that, you got rubber bands, paper clips, graph paper and highlighters and Sharpies for tagging everything up. Have phun.
The door says 6 p.m. thats if youre in the store before 5.50 pm if not the doors are locked craziest thing ever guess they want to go home to if I had known I wouldnt have driven over here.. Lesson learned never be back here...
Extremely hopeless customer service.The Assistant Manager Don is the lousiest, non professional and a rude guy I have ever seen. Wonder how he is holding this position.Management needs to counsel this guy about basics of customer service. Unimaginable how he is surviving in the competitive business environment.
The copy and print assistant was very patient and helpful. She was courteous as well. Service was so inexpensive.

Cashier & managers need to get education and training on new technology.Why install it in store if dont want to use it or dont know how to use it?Whole point of having digital cards is not have my actual card information compromised.I was using Samsung pay POS asked for last 4 digits code of the card being a digital card phone generate a different 4 digit code than the actual card. Cashier and manager insist to see actual card to get last 4 digit, even if i showed them actual card it wont have worked. Digital card communicate differently than plastic cards.I wont visit the store until they catch up with technology which they have in the store alreadyAnd try to listen what customer are saying.
I noted arbitrary pricing of items that were identical except for color. Example 1 was a clear storage box priced at $0.20 more than an identical blue storage box, example 2 was a container of black ink priced at $2 more than any of the colors of ink with slightly more ink.

Best and almost only place to get office supplies without having to order online. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. The printing department is hindered by out of date software, which led to me spending some real quality time there while my business cards were fixed.If management is reading this, join us in this century and print with Illustrator, or at least get things to come out right in your own templates. Maybe it was just a cutting issue, but bleeds are pretty basic stuff. At the very least step up from windows xp. Its got its uses, but youre holding your employees back.

Print center staff was less inviting than the DMV staff on a Friday. In between flailing their arms at a customers questions, what makes this experience worse is the manager stood idle and watched while this occur not only to my partner and I but to other customers. It was clear that both ladies were not having the best day however, I am fairly certain Staples doesnt pay you to blatantly show your frustration with trays of a printer or be so consumed holding up your customerless counter you cant even turn around to help anyone on the sales floor. Kudos to the manager for keeping her back turned to all of us the entire time this was all unfolding.

Sent in pictures for my grandmas funeral to be enlarged and I came in and waited an hour for them to give us the enlarged copy not only for them to lose the original pictures and not have the enlargements of my grandmother and now we have to find other pictures and enlarge them in time for her funeral.
When ordering online to save time, sometimes you get there and your order was confused with someone else or just done incorrectly. This time the order was right but pickup time was long

Went to pick up my online order of 2 items today. They spent 10 minutes looking for one of the item and another 20 to find the other. The guy who searched for my orders constantly stopped here and there to talk with other stuff or help out with other customers, ignoring my existence.
Had to wait too long to check out.
Either this is the most understaffed or most poorly managed Staples I have experienced as a shopper in NY, NH, & VT Sloppy, alarms going off entering and leaving store, and staff seeking help at register but without response I will never return Would post 0 stars if possible
