You know, I cant give any GameStop 5 stars because I think theyve helped ruin a once great industry. Anyways. I visited this GameStop today and the clerk was working by herself and doing her best to greet everyone and ensure everyone was taken care of. She was polite and informative. I was really just looking for something small to use my $5 coupon on, and I found a rare Star Wars figure. Plus I learned about the new Aliens game. So that works.

Nice shop, well organized, everything in the store (even the used gear) was clean. Christian was friendly and a much welcome game critic as I shopped around. He even called attention to how hard Mo worked to clean the place up - good on ya, Christian.Mo is hilarious and seems to handle challenges with ease - she apologized out of nowhere to a patron for “bouncing all over the place” but I liked the energy and enthusiasm - this is the whole reason I’m writing this review.Hands down had one of the best experiences at a shop in months if not more than a year. Mo and Christian didn’t necessarily know all the answers to all the questions people asked, but they were upbeat and chipper and kind.I showed up to grab one item and ended up buying 3 titles, a controller and a warranty. Thank you for the fun experience!!

This place is a good place to go if youre looking for a place to purchase a game for yourself or for a gift because they usually have what you are wanting but sadly this location is pretty trashy, run down looking and messy. The customer service representative is or was a nice girl who stated she was there only a week. That their turn around rate was so horrible for that store and even the manager quit recently after being their for 6 years so by the looks of it and sounds of it this location could use a makeover. I most likely wont be back to this location Ill stick with Salem center mall in Salem.

I play xbox and GameStop was huge I was able to get my series x so thank you so much. When I became a pro member I was told I should of received points towards joining as my nephew did but they told me it was too late to claim the points because it was a week after I had already joined. But I did keep it a 4 star for everything they have done for me.

Got what I wanted at a fair price.

Overall Ive gone here for years but the quality has degraded so much. The best employees seem to find other work and the manager who was really great left shortly ago. Current employees are not as knowledgeable as many of the past ones were that knew more information that could help find the game Im looking for. The thing that finally set me to finally leave a review was that when I got told about renewing the pro membership, they didnt even give me a choice between physical and digital just cheaply signed up digital. I already was very split about doing it as the 5$ off monthly is really the only plus at this point but this convinced me to not shop here anymore. I will probably make use of the 5$ off and not renew the subscription. Going to buy the among us 90$ edition and other games from bestbuy primarily.

Bad employee didnt look up my power up account while I was pawning a game. I got less value than what Was on the website because of that. Everyone is lazy in the store cuz the mall is dead so they treat you like you arent welcome. Pressure to buy something constantly while looking at Funkos that are in trash condition for any collector. A place to get hired to work with friends and get paided to not care.

Friendly people always willing to help and give out great advice on how to play a game

The staff is so helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable. I only wish they sold Toki Doki. I recommend GameStop. If they dont have what you need, they can order it for you. Staff is very knowledgeable about current games and equipment. They also carry shirts, hats, and figurines.

Ive been a regular GameStop customer for over 10 years and I just now am realizing how pleasant Albany GameStop is over Corvallis. I currently live over 30 minutes away from Albany, but will gladly make the drive to buy here instead. I always am given great customer service, my secondary questions are answered before even asking and alternative ways to get a product are ALWAYS suggested. My latest experience of purchasing the yellow Nintendo switch lite was nothing short of incredibly easy despite my rough experience in Corvallis. The remaining time I am in Oregon I will be sure to shop here.HUGE shoutout to Austin and Serena for making my experience so great.

Only had 4 extra xbox series Xs, After I guess telling people at least 8. Which is fine, they couldnt control that. BUT they made the people that got a console buy THREE extra add ons like controllers, games or warranty. They WOULD NOT sell just a stand alone console. Totally ridiculous, just pure extortion because they could.

Went in for one game came out with 5 staff was fantastic! The long haired lady with cute bangs was very helpful! Well be back again!

Lots of video system games and assorted video game paraphernalia, I m still a lover of the older systems and thats the clearance areas of their stores. Only selling recent old games and accessories; so I m still looking for a store with all gaming no matter the age. But for the newer stuff or extra related to this is the place is a good store.

My wife hates video games. Is there anything i can do to convert her over. They need to makes games for those types of people. Really great people who work VERY hard are at this store. Theyre also humans that sometimes make mistakes (its strange I know). They try hard to let you make an informed and smart decision when buying things, and Ive become very great friends with some of the employees over the past few years.

Ive been in several times looking for specific games. I feel ignored when I go in... Middle aged woman just isnt the demographic. But, I can usually find what Im after. Watch the pieces though.... Used is often more than new if you shop online.

This is ALWAYS my go to place to swap out games and systems. I was able to take in my psp, current ds, a bunch of games and get an upgrade on my system with only paying out 18.00 aprox... As im unemployed and money is tight... this was a good option for me to get something new when i would not have able to till i had found work again... Love your program, your prices, the exchanges and yep even the new games when i need the latest..

I went online to check and see if Gamestop had World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Collectors Edition. It said they carried it so i went into the store. Once i got their i was promtley greated and asked if i could be helped, I asked if they had any World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Collectors Edition that i could pre order? the Lady told me no they arnt going to make a physical copy of it i laughed and said RIGHT guess ill be getting mine from some other store

They have good games and they are on top of things but they have changed there return polaciy and they are so expensive.
