Continuing my visit of different coffee shops throughout the Bay Area.Cute small modern coffee shop! Prices are reasonable and great tasting espresso and coffee. Very friendly staff wearing mask and hand sanitizer available for usage

Had such a delightful experience. Eva was so courteous and hospitable, even with all of my questions. The decaf iced americano was super high quality and very flavorful. Perfect compliment to the pumpkin/chocolate loaf. Downtown Albany is really cute too and the whole street truly has so much to check out!!

The staff was beyond nice and the coffee was great. I love the ice they use.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, quick service. No power outlets, so make sure your laptop is charged if you plan on doing work.

I picked up an americano (free if you buy a bag of coffee) and a medium roast. It was fantastic via a pour over. I love their roasts, really complex and fantastic notes.

Just discovered this place. Cool staff treat you like a regular even if its your first visit. Very good espresso drinks

Excellent cute coffee shop on Solano. The coffee is solid (they roast their own beans) and the owner and staff are great.

Really good coffee, but what stood out to me the most was how quiet the coffee shop was. I normally wear headphones to drown out all the noise but today I didn’t have to. Everyone even whispered when they spoke. Good place to get work done (but no outlets, so make sure your things are fully charged.)

Wow, I don’t often do 5 stars on a first visit, but everything about this place earned it. Convenient location. Nice space with a decent amount of seating. Full beverage menu. Pretty much perfect flat white—perfect amount and consistency of depth. Fair, average prices for espresso drinks. Friendly staff. Some tables and some counter seating. It’s right across from the landmark theater.

Ideal late, best in Albany and Berkley!

They have very good espresso, nicely balancing the caramelized and acidity flavors. I also bought their Ethiopian coffee beams, and I am also very satisfied.

Update: this is the best coffee in the area. Well worth going out of your way. They roast at CoRo, just a couple miles away, and read coffee books in their spare time. The pastries and quiches are great, too. If youre looking for delicious espresso, come here first.Original review: The coffee (espresso) is top quality and prepared perfectly. More than most other places, the staff here are exceptionally nice and welcoming. They do not have speakers (just a tiny Bluetooth one), and have a sign asking people to not take calls in the store. There is no internet or power outlets, but a nearby store as an open network. The vibe is quiet, but bright. The chairs are comfortable, too. This strip of Solano has small flies, which can be annoying. For the coffee, and the friendly staff, this place has quickly become part of my routine.

The coffee, a medium roast, was just OK, unfortunately. It was mid afternoon and there was only one customer and the person working was cleaning and getting ready to close, so perhaps it wasnt the best time to visit.
