I love the location inside Flowerland. The fact that it is inside a 5th wheel is pretty cool too. If you want something a little different or you just want some coffee while you stop and smell the flowers this is definitely the place to go.

Partner and I come here to get great coffee and browse for plants. We used to sit in the provided benches, but obviously cannot do that at the moment. Still an amazing place. Still great coffee (I personally love the Kashmiri Chai.) When this horrible period of time becomes part of history and we look back at the people we once were, well find our bench again, observe the plants, and talk about the future.

Can you imagine having a personal coffee bar in your back yard? Tucked between, say, your roses and your ornamental grass, or parked between your potted tomatoes and the edge of your tiny deck? Well thats what this is like, and more. This Highwire is a cute bug of a trailer, up in the front corner of an adorable nursery, and like very Highwire, the espresso is bang-on perfect. Be warned: As one of the best cups of coffee around, the seating can quickly fill up, especially on weekends, and the seating nearest the trailer can sometimes feel a bit claustrophobic if theres a line. I have only two complaints. First, theres no sparkling water served with the espresso here. Its a very minor thing, considering how few American coffee bars offer this Italian detail, but its something I miss from the Market Hall location. Second, they close at 4, which to my mind is precisely when I want an espresso, so theres been many times when I forgot to drop by because the day got away from me. Still, when its a typically nice Bay Area afternoon, and Im on Solano, where better is there to sit and sip some coffee than here, among the plants?

Sometimes a coffee spot is more than just the coffee. The Highwire coffee bar on Solano is more. Situated in Flower land, its a wonderfully lush and pleasant place to sit and enjoy a cup. It may not have the best hours, and Ive periodically arrived to find it temporarily closed, but it stands out as a unique and somewhat quirky spot. Oh, the coffee is also excellent.

Some of the best coffee drinks, tea, and pastries in and around Solano. The coffee is exceptional and roasted by Highwire themselves. The chai tea is also great and made by them. Not too over-sweet, syrupy stuff you might get at other local coffee shops. The pastries are also great and made fresh daily.

I dont understand this hipster espresso thing.Its not acidic, its just ridiculously sour aka overextracted.Dont improve on espresso, please. Its already authentic the way Italians do this (= not sour).That said, this is a nice place. Sorry about the rant, but I just dont get this. The drink really wasnt enjoyable at all. Had to pour it into the storm drain.Now the pacific ocean can taste hipster espresso.

Seems like a cool and progressive place (definite hipster vibe), but mad expensive and hard to find parking. My coffee was not worth the price and hassle imo but maybe its just not my thing. No idea why its rated as $ when it should be at least $$(Edit: thank you for replying, owners- I really do appreciate that you compensate your workers and growers fairly instead of treating them as disposable. I should have considered what that price was paying for. Its still too expensive and far from home for me to visit, but thank you. Hopefully more business owners will follow your ethic so people like me can afford to support it.)

This spot is as much about the coffee as it is about the location. High wire is in an old airstream-like trailer within Flowerland Nursery. It’s one of the best places to relax with a beverage and buy plants!

Think you need 2 baristas in the morning though, and more pastries...by 11 am they are sold out!Location in the nursery is lovely - great plants and gift shop, and yarn shop across the street...what could be better?

Here has an awesome vibes with plants near it. Coffee tastes great. There are not enough chairs but would be fine if you walk around seeing the plants!

They serve Highwire coffee and thats about the only good thing. terrible service - only two customers and the guy let my America sit cold. Asked to him remake with extra room for cream - and filled it up to top. Saw the guy touching coffee grind with his hands - hopefully he washes his hands - didnt see any restrooms nearby.

Adorable airstream parked in an adorable flower nursery that serves the best chai latte I have ever had. I tried both the Kashmiri and the Masala. Both. Amazing. Side note: I can definitely see myself sipping a large latte, people watching, sponging up some sun and sketching flowers here all day...mmm.
