Cashier was High. Literally high on drugs. Nodding off was just mad energized. Didn’t even look like an employee at first.I was over charged and was told I was not. I stayed back an extra 10 minutes explaining where she had messed up and he tried to reach in his pocket and hand me a dollar. Do not shop here. They have no carts no organization skills nothing.

A bit hodgepodge, but really not too bad for a discount place. I actually found everything I needed, including a Dutch Oven that I had been considering buying on Amazon... saved over $10 on it too! Got a few other kitchen gadgets because I like to cook. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of organization. It may have partially been because they were restocking, but Ive been there several times and it was essentially the same. Other than that, not too bad.

I would add pictures, but I was not trying to stay inside that store. I only need to buy a 3 things, and I had to turn around and walk out. Not only is their freight everywhere, but there is merchandise all over the floor. Customers went through and threw shoes on the floor. And the workers LEFT it. And I dont mean a few pairs today, I mean overtime they have let this stuff pile up on the floor and just refuse to pick it up.I work as a merchandiser, and I have worked in this store before about 18months ago. It wasnt the best, but it used to be better. They need more help in here, some workers from another store could be given some extra hours to come help this store out. Im sure if theyre understaffed the workers at this store are overworked, and starting to get discouraged not being able to complete their daily responsibilities, much less do any extra cleaning. I will be calling the DM whose name is on the window and just sharing that from a customer perspective you can tell these employees need more help.

Family dollar is convient for those living in the area; however, products get bought up at a much faster rate so hurry when sales are posted

Last night, I went to the laundromat. While my stuff was in the dryer, I went to the Family Dollar right next to it & I bought a broom with a few other things. I walk with a walker, so before I left, JT, the manager, offered to bring my stuff over there for me. I told her she didn’t have to, but she did it anyway. VERY kind!!!

I would give this Family Dollar 5 stars but the staff there should be a little bit more because if there was at least one more person there the lines would as long at the registers from the constant business that this Family Dollar has.Due to the minimal staff the Isles are in constant disarray because staff cannot do what is necessary because of their other responsibilities.Attending staff was very cordial very helpful and know the store very well to tell me exactly where to go for what Im looking for and I appreciate that which is a major Plus 😉

Very unsatisfactory manager was very rude. I purchased a item think one price and when i question I found manger too very rude and unprofessional this the second time especially in your store on central avenue Albany Ny address 484 central.

Its a dollar store. So, if youre looking for that, its an awesome store! The employees are friendly and competent, and its never been so crowded I couldnt shop.

The prices are okay. The employees are nice and helpful. They have most of the things you need.

Incredibly rude disrespectful staff. Made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe from the moment I walked in. This is a first for me to be so disappointed in an experience at a business to write a review like this, but the one employee was particularly threatening for no reason at all and people should be aware of the staffs unprofessional behavior. I left without a chance to even look for what I needed. Also on an unrelated note, the place is Very dirty.

Lately when you go to the one near me, not enough help, aisle are fill with boxes or they havent restocked the selves. Use to be good, no way.

Lots of easy to get things you cannot find in lots of other places...reasonable price...more help needed...signs and price need to be updated regularly..Most of the assigned managers are under professional and not customer service trained...the place is mostly UNTIDY..need trained associates in CUSTOMER SERVICE...

They are located two doors away from my front door. I used to work there and I still shop there from time to time! However, theres always uboats and boxes still packed in the isle ways

The young clerk was professional, courteous and very well spoken. He also went out his way to help me find what I was looking for...

Worst family dollar ever and véry nasty rude manager named Margie!!! Because I called and complained I told her that they need to pay better attention and know what products have the ink beepers on it ha and the damn beepers didnt even go off unreal!!!
