Ive been shopping here for over two years now, out of all the smoke/vape shops in Albany these guys have some of most diverse products at good price points. The staff is always friendly and theyre good people unlike some other places.

Wonderful and very helpful, easy to talk to staff, incredibly kind, and they sell literally anything you could ever possibly want!! I went in for a purchase I struggled to find at other headshops - a roach clip - and no other headshop had any but them, and we were able to find something gorgeous and functional with the help of the staff!! It might be owned and staffed by a family, it has a very sweet and caring, homey type of vibe. Truly a great experience there, highly recommended!!

I went into the shop after work one day looking for a silicone bowl and was completely surprised from the moment i walked through the door. I was greeted immediately and the cashier was very friendly and very happy to help me. There was no delay i told the woman there exactly what i wanted and she jumped right to showing me what they had for a selection. I was very pleased with the customer service she offered and the very wide selection they had to offer me. The place was clean and very well organized. I was very pleasantly surprised by the little quaint place which was way bigger than i thought once i stepped inside. I will be sure to recommend to all my friends..

Am I missing something? This place is overpriced to the max. Even tobacco is overpriced and much cheaper at beer universe. All their glass comes from the wholesale part if the city and much cheaper there. Friendly owners but need to come down on prices or wont be there much longer. I want to love the place and shop there because I live right across the street.

Excellent customer service everytime Ive gone there. This time, there was a sale and my husband and I picked out a beautiful bubbler for a SUPER reasonable price. Smokers Choice wouldve easily charged nearly double the price. I also love that theyre open late. 5/5 all the way!!

I absolutely love the atmosphere when I walk into this store; they have all treated me and my wife with much respect. We lost our turtle one day and found him in the store playing peacefully in water 😊. They respectfully returned the turtle; so many varieties of things from cbd, hemp wraps, awesome smelling candles and more. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Am I missing something??? Are these positive reviews from family members of the owner? Ive had 3 experiences with this place and none were very positive. Sold broken merchandise and was forced to wait a hour to prove they sold me cheap chinese broken vapes. Everytime I buy something the stuff never really adds up to what its suppost to be, place is shady in my opinion. Someone should investigate their signs as well, 40% glass vapes etc yet nothings on sale when you go in.

My husband Fred and I have been shopping here every week since we moved to Albany 1.5 years ago. The first few weeks we checked out every tabacco place around for several miles. We couldn’t believe the prices at some chain stores. Barry Smokes and Things has everything we like and use at the lowest prices we’ve found. In that time they have only ever not had what we use once or twice and had it the very next day. Well stocked, great prices and to top it off the atmosphere is lovely and the owners are wonderful! I always have one or more of our children with me and they are always treated “special”. The owners are ALWAYS friendly, happy, kind and thoughtful! They give my kids little candies and toys all the time (always asking for my permission first!). I also buy my incense here and love them. They always smell fresh, not stale or dull. They are a lovely family and I hope they never go out of business or close!! Even if we move I’ll continue shopping here for our tabacco products until we quit smoking!
