Terrible customer service. Every person I’ve encountered at this store has been a real jerk. Either from poor working conditions or just from having no customer service skills whatsoever. It felt like I had to apologize just for existing or apologize for asking for their help. Horrible experience and will not go again.

Love going here. If youre a cook or baker, this place is a paradise. I get giddy every time I visit. When youre here, 30 minutes just flies by. Great gadgets. Great food samplers. A place where technology and the culinary world interface. If I want to find innovations in the culinary arts, I start here. The staff are friendly. They greet you when you walk in and make it clear that they are accessible to you if you need them. You are free to roam around and explore without anyone bothering you. Love it.

Quite possibly the worst company I have ever worked with. Ordered two items from a bridal registry on 4/3/19. An item came broken, so I returned it with no follow-up from the company. Called customer service, was told they’d ship one out. Two weeks later, nothing. By this point, already missed the bridal shower. Called again, they shipped it rushed for me. But then cancelled the order. Called again, shipped rushed again, never came. I noticed I was refunded (no follow-up from company). Called again, and they said there’s nothing they can do since they already refunded me. Asked for another order- but have to pay more now. 5 phone calls later... more money, still no product. Go somewhere else is my best advice.

Clean store with very friendly employees! They have been helpful to me both in person and over the phone. We have enjoyed striking up conversations with them in store. My boyfriend and I have been shopping at Williams Sonoma for a few things for our new home. The only thing we wish to be different is some of the high prices. We try to choose wisely wherever we shop. But anyways, the store itself is great! I’d recommend it!~

Ot a cooking store but a genuine culinary museum for you to purchase. William-Sonoma only offers quality items that both last and can stand the wear and tear.Maybe it is a bit expensive but the cookware they offer are one of a kind, carefully designed and simple.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I returned something from my wedding registry for store credit and because of the clerk’s error, the merchandise card went to the gift sender instead of to me. Pretty horrible and embarrassing. I called THREE times to fix this problem and was not resolved. Terribly unprofessional and unreliable.

Why shop at this extremely overpriced store!!!! The quality is not as good as buying directly from Nordic and the manufacturers. I have found the same items for leas elsewhere! Also their return policy is too one sided. They do not want you to return anything and will do everything They can to see you dont. No Store credir either. Worst quality products!

Last year I purchased the Open Kitchen microwave. Small and right size for my apartment with limited counterspace. Within a month the plastic began peeling off the digital key pad. Never had this problem with Cuisinart. Since a microwave should last for years, this is unacceptable since WS has had several complaints about this issue. I would expect better quality control from WS. I complained before, but all they did was apologize but no offer of replacement or a solution. They do not stand behind their products.

Excellent customer service! They helped us pick out a new Nespresso machine and were very knowledgeable.

If you go see Melissa very helpful very knowledgable of product and brands. Currently has sale on Lacruset merchandise and 20% on some cook books, Essental Bakers product and other stock

I am utterly disappointed by the poor customer service at this particular Williams-Sonoma. The store claims to price-match against competitors such as Sur La Table and Amazon, but Melissa, the manager, creates all kinds of excuses not to honor that policy. I was trying to match a product of the same brand, style, size, etc., for a mere $3 price difference, but she refused to match the price because of the color. However, even when I found another listing with the exact same color, Melissa still would not budge, claiming that Williams-Sonomas version of the product was of better material (which is baseless).Moreover, it is very difficult to make a return at this WS. I initially bought two tins ($45 worth) of their new dark chocolate peppermint bark to try, but was very disappointed with the bitter and flour-like taste. Thus three days after my purchase, I decided to return the second tin, which was unopened and still sealed in its plastic. Another staff member who claimed to be the store manager (but later admitted she was not) refused to process the return, saying that all she would do for me was to give me two corporate numbers to call. She could not respond when I pointed out that neither my receipt, nor the cashier who rung me up, said that the item was final sale. This staff member then said she would take back the chocolate but NOT give me back my money or any form of store credit. As a loyal customer of WS who has spent thousands of dollars through the years on their All-Clad, Demeyere, Staub, Le Creuset and Wusthof products, I was appalled by this belligerence, idiocy and blatant dishonesty. For a mere tin of chocolate, this WS staff member was unwise enough to turn me away and lose my business forever.Williams-Sonoma now has numerous competitors--especially Sur La Table--in luxury cookware and home goods. If WS is to succeed, they should emulate Sur La Tables consumer-friendly return policy, which allows you to return any product if you arent completely satisfied.The Crossgates WS is severely deficient in training its staff to treat customers with utmost professionalism, respect and honesty. Because of my repeatedly negative experiences here, I am never returning to the Crossgates Williams-Sonoma again.
