I contacted their service department on August 20th and spoke to Steve regarding getting the timing belt and water pump changed in my 2013 Ford Escape. My wife and I had been looking for a new car and the Maverick seemed to fit what we need, so we decided to keep our Escape until we could get a Maverick. I was told they had to check on parts availability and would call me back to schedule the appointment. Two weeks went by and I head nothing. I called back, asked for Steve, got put on hold and then hung up on. I called back again, hold again and this time Steve answered. He told me my paperwork was right up front and he would get right back to me. That was September 3rd, still havent heard from Steve (October 7th).I understand staffing and parts shortage due to the global pandemic, but at least a bit of communication would go a very long way. Even saying we dont know when or call us back in a month would be fine. Instead I got nothing. In the mean time miles racked up and we felt like we were driving a time bomb, a timing belt failure is no small thing. The Escape had been a bit of a lemon to begin with, so we made the decision to just stop buying Fords and recently purchased a Honda.I told my wife I wanted to see how the dealer treated us for Service before pre-ordering the Maverick and forking over $30,000 for it and I am glad we did. We are happy with our Honda after purchasing 3 Fords previously (Explorer, Focus and Escape).

Early September I dropped my truck off to get three things fixed. The buttons on my steering wheel did not work and my sunroof mechanism broke and my electric window switch for the rear quit working. I picked my truck up almost a month later, maybe three weeks, with the intent of bringing it back when the sunroof parts were in. When I drove away, I realized that my turn signals did not cancel automatically and my traction control lights were on. The truck was running when they brought it to me and the next time I started it the advance track warning came on as well as low tire pressure. These were not issues that I had prior to dropping it off. I called Steve in the Service department and let him know about the issue. He said that they would take care of it when I brought it back in for the sunroof repair. I took my truck back in for the sun roof a couple months later. When I picked it up the warning lights were still on and the turn signals still didn’t operate correctly. The sun roof visor would not close all the way and the sun roof did not seal. Two pieces to the headliner were in a cup holder, not reinstalled. Stuff from my kids birthday party had been moved from the back seat to the bed of the truck then parked outside and left in the rain. I talked with Carlos the service manager after that happened. Gave them one more chance to get it right. Sun roof still doesn’t seal properly, the turn signals still do not function properly and the advance track system is still not working. Nearly three thousand dollars later I have a rear window that works properly and I can change the radio station with the steering wheel button. I will eventually get my truck fixed but not by this dealership. I won’t buy another truck there, I don’t believe that they are qualified to check my tire pressure. My opinion.Update 6/20/2021Took my truck to another dealer, they said that there was no steering angle sensor in my steering column. It had been removed. Glad I didn’t drive my truck much after I picked it up as this is dangerous.

The power window on my car went out, and was stuck in the middle. In the past I have had the Salem Ford Dealer work on my car, I called them on a Wednesday afternoon and explained my window was stuck half open, and could they get my car in to repair it. They told me that they were booked up for TWO Weeks! Now I dont know about most people, but I use my car everyday and cant leave it parked with an open window.I called Roberson Ford Service Department and the technician told me to bring it in the next day. I couldnt get the car there until 1pm due to my work schedule, but they took it in, and diagnosed the problem, called me to inform me of the repair needed and parts, they ordered the part and had it delivered Friday. My car was finished with an oil change as well, by 3pm Friday! One day turnaround is a lot better than a two weeks waiting period. They will get my car service from now on!

My Ford F150 had a grinding noise when accelerating that was worrisome, and right before the appointment to fix that issue, I also got a bad flat tire. Steve at Roberson Albany Ford was extremely helpful and not only fixed the issues I brought the truck in for, but also fixed the battery in my key (which I hadnt even mentioned was needing replaced). Steve kept me informed on the progress and was able to do everything in less than two days. Plus when I picked up my truck, it was nice and clean. Best experience Ive had with any Ford dealership and I plan to bring my truck here again next time I need anything done. Thank you Steve and your team! You rock!

Where do I start trying to tell about “the best” buying experience? From pulling into the business until we drove out with my new F150! Mike, our salesman, was absolutely fantastic! Very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain all the questions we had! There was absolutely no pressure or trying to oversell us! What a great change from other experiences. After checking around we returned a couple days later to compare apples to apples ready to buy. Mike again went over our list and helped decide on the best truck! Broke down on the way home from vacation, the staff found the problem in 15 minutes, fixed it with new part the next morning and we were on our way within the hour. Great folks in the Service area. We had an excellent experience with them on an emergency & complex situation (way too long to write here). Hollie, in parts or management?, went above & beyond. Repair guy, Travis, was nice, skilled, professional, & fast. Interactions with a few miscellaneous staff including a few from sales were super friendly & helpful. Service staff helped immediately (despite how busy it was) to get a loaded horse trailer back on the road again! This experience was the best weve had in a long time working with any business - really didnt know businesses could/would run like this anymore! BTW, had a completely opposite experience (except for nice shuttle guy & gal) with Gresham Ford shortly thereafter (which is a bummer for various reasons including Gresham Ford is MUCH closer to us). That said, when I buy a new truck, Im heading to Roberson even though its a few hours away!

I know its the job of a dealership sales team to make you feel at home, but not all places can achieve this. I never felt pressured into making my purchase, and my salesman Zach answered any question I had. He was also willing to work with the price and check with their finance guy several times to make sure I had the perfect deal for me. I have a father who worked for a Ford Dealership for 30+ years as a Senior Ford Master Mechanic, and their sales team was like family. STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!I took my car in to Roberson for recall work on a lighting control module, my car has some aftermarket wires for a radio and other equipment in the general area of the repair. I specifically asked the technician at the counter to make a note on the repair order to NOT disturb the aftermarket wires, I literally walked him out to my car and clearly showed him the wires I was talking about. I returned to pick my car up and ALL OF THE AFTERMARKET WIRES WERE TAKEN OUT OF MY CAR! After talking with the mechanic that worked on my car he said “no one told me”. The manger offered to make things right, but I HAVE ZERO CONFIDENCE IN THE COMPETENCE AND ABLITY OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I’m not saying the whole department is bad. The customer service was on par, but your playing Russian roulette with the mechanics when they service your vehicle.

If you have a recall service appointment, make sure to call them before going in. When I made my appointment a week ago, I made sure to ask them twice if they had parts for the work to be performed. They assured me they would and acted annoyed that I would ask such a question. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment they didnt have the parts. It wouldnt be that big of an issue, but this has happened to me twice before (at other Ford Dealerships). They were pleasant and said theyd make it right and Im sure they will, but I wont get that time back from the work I missed to make this appointment. They were good to us for years, but we took my wifes car in not long ago for an oil change and to find out how much they would charge to replace the right side HVAC blend door actuator, and the motorized hatch lift strut. We told them what was wrong and just wanted a price to replace. They charged us $120 for diagnosis. Ridiculous. We take our cars elsewhere now.

On november 8th we took our F-150 to roberson for for a new CV axel on the front drivers side under warranty. On november 30th our brakes failed (pedal to the floor). We had the truck towed to power ford in Newport to find out what was going on. The following monday we were told that the brake caliper on the front drivers side fell off while we were driving. Roberson Fords mechanics who did the CV axel didnt get the caliper tightened causing a near accident, risked the lives of my wife,my kids, everyone on the road and a ruined beach weekend, Their service manager had the balls to try and say it was something we did that caused it!! I have tried repeatedly to get in contact with the general manager with no response! We are now seeking legal counsel!! Do not use this dealers service department!!!! I have had multiple issues with the service department. Twice while having the oil changed on my black F150 I have picked it up only to find it VERY poorly washed. Both times only about 2/3s of the truck was washed. The rest of it dirty and covered in giant dirty streaks all over the vehicle. It looked better dirty than half clean! Its also very expensive and difficult to get an oil change. Appointments usually need to be made a week in advance, take over an hour, and run about $45. Take it to a Ford dealership with a Quick Lane set up it and you can usually make an appointment that day or for the next day, get out in less time, and save some money. Maybe Robersons should work on their service department. It needs some help.

Seven weeks ago we went to Robersons Ford and talked to a Troy that works there about getting the oil changed in my 81-year old fathers 1965 Galaxie 500, Troy said he would order the special zinc additive oil (Royal Purple) right away and call when it came in. SIX WEEKS later we stop by and ask what the hold up is and he says: Oh! Its been here for weeks, I just forgot! Real professional service right there, at this point I urged my father to seek another mechanic, why pay dealership prices for an oil change, my father said, Well stick with them since theres now a small transmission hose leak, I want them to look at as well. He finally got it scheduled last week for yesterday (Tuesday, December 16TH) and immediately said theyd need to keep it over night, which I thought sounded very strange for an oil change and a SINGLE hose replacement.I called the following day at 11:30 a.m., at this point theyve had the car for over 24 hours now and they said it would be done around 1:30 and would be around $160.00. My father went to get his car, came back furious and when I asked what was wrong he said the bill was OVER $300!!! Without even calling and asking permission, they went ahead and replaced 2 rubber hoses with steel braided hoses AND put in a cheaper oil than the Royal Purple and still charged my father for the Royal Purple, its in the back of his car now! Absolutely shameless, taking advantage of the elderly. Needless to say, I have found my father a better mechanic than the crooks at Robersons Ford, steer clear! I WILL be filing an official complaint for what its worth, worst customer service Ive ever seen, I just forgot! JEEZ!

If I could give a 0 Star I would. Worst service department I’ve ever been to. I have a 2013 Ford F-350 with a 6.7 powerstroke. I’ve had constant issues with them not fixing an “exhaust fluid system fault” correctly. I’ve been back and forth in there about 5 times now being told it was fixed each time which has been a huge inconvenience, not to mention the weeks at a time without a pickup. They do everything they can to get out of standing behind there work. They’ve even admittedly installed wrong parts and I still get a bill! Almost 6 months later the truck is still not fixed and now I have to get it fixed AGAIN. They are stereotypical mechanics that try and get every dime out of someone. Stay away

I called to make an appointment and was told to come in any time in the morning the next day. I had to reschedule since I picked up a few hours at work the night before and didnt get home til late. They were understandable about letting me reschedule, but when I came in Carlos proceeded to say that they didnt have time to see me, that I had come in too late in the day. It was 10:30am. AM. If Carlos needed me in first thing in the morning, maybe he should specify that when people are trying to make an appointment. I even asked him on the phone if we could pick a specific time and he said no, just come in whenever. I left frustrated by his attitude and went to the Ford dealership in Eugene instead. Id rather drive an hour each way than deal with Roberson Albany Fords BS.

Had a recall on door latch that I found out about when my door started moving while driving. Door seemed to almost come open when going over 50. Told them about it and how loud it was with the air rushing in and they said they couldn’t get me in for 2 weeks.Roberson sells you on service but they don’t deliver when you need it. Clear safety issue but 2 weeks was the soonest they could fit me in. This is the reason why I will look out of town for my next Ford truck.

We just bought a 2016 Ford Explorer and we love it. TJ went above and beyond to find the vehicle that I wanted and it is perfect. Mike Kindopp did a great job showing us all the things it has and can do and so far we havent had to call him. He had told us to call him anytime if we had any questions.They both were so helpful and wonderful to work with. This is the second vehicle we have bought from TJ and if we ever buy another one, it will definitely be from him, Mike and Murdock (the dog).

I had an awesome experience purchasing my new F350 Crewcab through Roberson. Mike and TJ were extremely helpful and no nonsense. They went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. Mike took the time to show and teach me all the new features and how to use them. My parents then came over from Central Oregon to buy a new Explorer this past weekend. They were thrilled at how easy their purchase went. Again, Thank You to Mike and TJ for taking such great care of us! There is no doubt that we will be back to buy from Roberson Ford in the future.
