TAKE YOUR CHANCES HEREmy husband and I have been occasionally shopping here for near a year.Some of the staff are knowledgeable and some staff dont know a lick about what they are selling. sometimes its a great experience and sometimes its not.some of their products are much cheaper than home depot and sometimes the price chokes you.After our most recent experience we will no longer be shopping here or recommending. Alex sold my husband the wrong lights after he had explicitly said under counter lights wouldnt work for the job he was doing, they were also $80 each! He went there this morning to return/get the correct fixtures and was met with attitude as if my husband was putting them out. Now he has to postpone his job because Bayshore Supply and their employees cant do their jobs.Disappointing as hell.

Very clearly told me over the phone that they had something I needed for a project, and had it in stock at the store. But once I arrived, they 100% did not have it, and its not like they just sold the last one - they just dont stock it.

Great place for do-it-yourself ventilation supplies. I replaced the furnace plus all the vent ducts in my home a while back; I bought everything except a rectangular main duct (spacing requirements prohibited me from using large round ducting) from Bayshore. It can be a bit daunting to find some boots, but everything is organized well enough that I could find what I needed eventually. I particularly liked the fact that much of the ductwork they sell is 26ga rather than the flimsier 30ga sheet metal. They also have more to offer than home depot--or any other supply house in the area.Staff were very helpful. They helped me to select insulation, screws, tin cutters, and tape. They offered suggestions as to how to solve some sticky issues with installation, and alternatives where my first choice didnt work. Id strongly recommend starting with Bayshore (and the CA mechanical code book) if youre thinking of adding to or replacing a vent system. --By the way, I found Audubon Plumbing Supply to be the best source for rectangular duct work and plenums. Theyre on the web.
