I have gotten 2 tattoos from Chris. I am happy with his work and his ink seems to hold up well. The tribal wolf style tattoo I got in March of 2017 looks just as good today as it did when I got it. My most recent compass and anchor tattoo turned out even better than I imagined it to be.

Chris was my tattoo artist he did everything by the book, it is one of the cleanest tattoo studios Ive been in, Chris was very nice and did my tattoo in about 2 hours and did a dam good job pictures to prove it below and for this tattoo he charged me 140 wich I think is a dam good deal from the size shading and color and it came out awesome. I haven’t been into this tattoo shop since I was 18 BUT they did 2 of my tattoos and both of them turned out perfect and they were so so nice to me! I got my dads name on my wrist and strength on my forearm and even now at almost 26 they still look almost brand new !The ink has held impressively great and it’s clean and I didn’t pay much for each of them (of course this was years ago lol) but I would definitely recommend! And I plan to go back for my next tattoo soon :)

Chris is the best tattooist I have ever had do ANY of my tattoos. He is very curtious and patient and makes sure the work he does is what you are wanting and makes sure you also understand the after-care. He even answers questions days after your tattoo is done, to make sure you understand care. Very light and steady hand and really know what he is doing... Thank you PermaGrafix!!!

I have had a few tattoos done. A neck tattoo done by an artist no longer with permagrafix. A grim reaper for a tribute to my uncle by Chris, and my wife and I did dragonflies on our hands by Aaron. She also has a dreamcatcher on her back done by Chris (Our second date, her first tattoo), while there she saw a tongue ring she really liked, and Chris gave me half off on it just because I was a repeat customer. I have always found Chris and his employees professional, polite, and friendly. Chris knew how important the grim reaper was to me so he spent time studying a picture of the original on my uncles arm to match it as closely as possible. I havent gotten any tattoos in two years, but now that I will be able to afford it again Im sure I will be just as happy with their work

Havent even been in yet, called and asked about piercings, he said we dont do them and hung up. You guys need better customer service !

I was not pleased at all. First I got my neck pierced, I had problems w it, Chris told me he had no responsibility because that piercer no longer worked there. Then I got a tattoo there after my papa died, it was a piece of art on wanted on my body to remind me of him when I look at it, but instead I get upset. when I signed the agreement that I was responsible for taking care of my tattoo, it also said that I was supposed to receive a 15-20 min FREE touchup. When I called to set up an appointment he said touchups were $40 minimum, and that tattooist doesn't work there anymore so I have to pay minimum, that was a month later. Then I think I will give them another chance ( only 2 tattoo shops in Albany ) so I go in there, they tell me to come back at 5:30, so I waited and went back at 5:30 on the dot, excited to get my tattoo I've been waiting for. I get told that they were too busy and we will have to reschedule for next week... I'm sorry, I'm definitely not satisfied with this service... Won't be going back. Don't know how he's lasted 4 years.

Worst tattoo ever! My mom, sister and I went here for three small tattoos. We were each charged $170 ( the most Ive ever paid and its my smallest tattoo). I was tattooed by Chris. It took almost two hours, partly because he stopped to eat some subway. The lines look shaky and the color faded after the first week, so I asked about a touch up. They said it would cost me $20. Never again!

Worst art Ive ever seen, small tattoos no shading over an hour and a half to get it done and they couldnt draw and made the client, bad ink, choppy lines, And didnt even change gloves ..no thank you.
