Very cool automatic sorter, got there in time enough to be 2nd in line and I defineltly enjoyed the constant look of disgust and anger and the feeling of not wanting to work there from the employee.

Bret, the dude who works there, is awesome. He introduced me to new IPA beer and was very nice. I love the selection of beer here. I definitely recommend stopping by.

Colonie Beverage Center is a great place to pick up some craft beers. The customer service is always what you expect and their selection of craft beer is respectable and organized. While it may not have the selection of Olivers has, its a lot more low key, not as busy and easy to get in an out of the parking lot. Youre able to get in and out without a fuss.The only thing that they are missing is having any type of draft system in which you can get growlers from. Other than that, you wont be disappointed.---------------------------------------------------Edit---------------------------------------------------Upgraded to five stars because they have started doing limited can release. Which allow you to get some rare beer from surrounding nano breweries.

The recycling center that we had visited is an open area with machine to sort out the cans and bottles, however, it had only one worker, so we had to wait around 20 minutes before it was our turn and the place is busy.

Enjoyed my first visit. Stopped in on a whim, always looking for some place different. Outside doesnt do the staff any justice. Honestly I want impressed by the exterior, but the selection inside and knowledge of the staff blew me away. I take honesty at face value, when the staff (Maisy ?) Told me her preference in craft is different than mine, but still gave me good recommendation and suggestions I was pleased. I found a good barley wine there, and many places dont carry them. I will swing through again. Plus their store mascot (Payton) was friendly too.

This is also a Redemption center for your bottles. This is the best Redemption center I have found to date! They take anything and theyre in my area. Any other Redemption centers bring it on, you cant compete. These guys know whats going on. Whenever I redeem bottles here you bet Im sure to pick up a pack of yuengling, landsharks, all day IPA. And Coors for when youre not drinking, cause that stuffs basically water. The prices are fair and Im a fan of this place. Check it out!

The past two times weve done bottle returns at this place have been utter disasters. Todays visit was the worst of the two...The woman at the counter claimed she had to estimate the bottles because the place is a wreck and its so busy, and she probably shortchanged us about 20 dollars (we had a LOT of bottles as usual and we usually wind up with about 50-60 bucks worth). Wouldnt doubt that went right into her pocket after we left!The place has state of the art bottle machines, but they were always shorthanded each time we went. The first time, the guy wouldnt stop complaining and had to close the place while we were there because he needed a cigarette/lunch break after he finished us.The bogus estimate was brought to the attention of the store, but they brushed us off, claiming the returns are a separate business.Needless to say, we wont be going back to a bottle place that cant accurately count bottles and to a beverage center that wont take responsibility for a business under their roof.

We always use Colonie Beverage for our returnables. Their bottle and can recycling system was installed sometime in the last couple of years.

Totally rude the guy all he did was complain because the plastic were crushed up so I could fit 200 in a bag, rather than do his job and count them he ran them into the machine and ripped me off for over $10 and said too bad that’s my problem because the machine wouldn’t except them.
