Associate here was completely unhelpful. Needed last minute foundation for a vacation as I left mine at home and my usual makeup was out of stock. She suggested a few things then told me I couldn’t actually try anything and just walked away on 2 different occasions leaving me standing there perplexed how I was to choose a foundation without color matching or trying it. She was very rude and clearly couldn’t care less.
This Sephora location is a little hard to find inside the upper floor of the JC Penney, and is definitely much smaller than most other locations. The staff member I talked to answered one of my questions, but then immediately walked away and started chatting with other customers, which I thought was a little weird. Other than that a good store, just not a lot of variety/very small selection of brands and products.
On top of them having nothing that you need, the staff does everything else but help you. Talking extremely loud about a trip that they’re going on soon and which day they should get drunk. But didn’t acknowledge anyone upon arrival. They’ve never been a help. Much rather go to the colonies center location.
I’ve had good experiences at this location but this was always early morning on a weekday. I’m sure it can get a little hectic due to it being small and short staff. Their staff were all pleasant during my visits
While I was having a really good day and went in to get some makeup and while one young lady was sweet and taking care of me, I got nasty looks and had her talking about me cause of my asking for a sample. While I usually LOVE Sephora and shop there often cause of my love of makeup this completely turned me off from making the purchases I was going to and probably from returning to that store. I gave it a two because of the lovely young lady helping me before that incident.
The employees are extremely fake and not knowledgeable about products. Its always super dirty, and the employees always judge you if you come in without makeup and act like they know more about you. Even when youre a MUA yourself lol Worst Sephora Ive ever been to.
I came when JcPenny reopened and will not be returning. Staff is phony and loud. They never have products in stock either. I overheard the one young lady talking about the customers as they left. Not very professional..yikes..
Got a foundation earlier this week that ended up not being a great pick for me so I can back today to return it and speak with someone who could discuss with me what foundation would be good for my skin etc and get color matched. It was kind of busy and the girl (emily) said she would help me right after she finished helping check out the other customers in line. No problem. Finally the line is gone so I go to see if she can help me and now she’s with some else who just came in and is colormatching them and making them a sample meanwhile I’ve been standing around for nearly 30 minutes. Not sure if she completely forgot about me or just didn’t care. Finally just got back in line to just return the foundation and leave and she said something along the lines of “oh you didn’t find a good color for you?” .... Seriously? Clearly not, seeing that the reason I came here was to have someone help me find a perfect match and instead all I got was ignored. Definitely not returning.
Not a very good Sephora. It’s really small kinda dirty too. They were out of numerous products and the staff was not well trained at all.
Worst service Ive ever received at any Sephora. Just wanted to get matched for a concealer. Stood there starring at the shades for over 20 min. No one said hello or even asked if I needed help. Will not shop here again.
Are you hiring?
